I bought redmi note 9s few days back and i think its a very good phone for the price tag !
Mi a2 Lite has a smaller screen , but this one is huge , i loved sth abt mi a2 lite , the device had a rear finger sensor which allowed u to use a gesture on in which when you rolled your finger from the top to the bottom of the sensor it would easily drag down your notification panel , idk if its about android one rom which had that ability but redmi note 9s really needs this ability it would be super usefull , not sure if its possible but if any admin reads this please if you find this ability usefull reach out to them if its possible to add it with a software update.

Hey guys im looking to upgrade my Redmi Note 4. So im torn between RN5 and Mi A1. I like the screen of Note 5 but I also like the A1 dual camera :/ . Besides bigger screen RN5 is not much of an upgrade... So i guess I just need second opinions
Mi A2 gonna launch in few days. I think you should wait for that
RN5 cameras are far better than A1's. Look at some reviews on YouTube. I would go Rn5, no doubts
Instead go for RN5 pro.
Combo of both bigger display and camera...
RN5Pro , definitely good development and best redmi.

Hello what do You mean by redmi note 5? Vince (sd 625) or whyred (Sd 636)
Ye I wasnt informed well. Redmi note 5 pro china edition is awesome. 5.99 screen, dual cameras.. I think ill go for it
Ok new question? What do you think about redmi s2 ? Is it a good upgrade from redmi note 4? How much better is note 5 from redmi s2? In my country Redmi S2 64/4 is a lot cheaper than Note 5 64/4

I think redmi s2 is just another redmi note 4 with different design, nothing is upgraded except dual camera bs
You could just stay with redmi note 4 . IMHO nothing wrong with it.
I myself just bought a redmi note 4 a week ago. I had the option of redmi note 5 pro, but I decided that 4 is better for my needs. 16:9 aspect ratio (yeah I don't like the 18:9 trend), physical navigation buttons, and camera that doesn't stick out of the phone are somethings that note 4 has and note 5 does not.
People as i wanted to buy new phone...i m heavily confused between real me 1 and note 5pro...at one place realme 1 has AI processors and other has good battery backup,xda support....can anybody please suggest which phone to buy....it will be highly appreciated

Everything i can tolerate other than color OS ?....will go for Redmi Note 5 pro,thanks for support
Used note 5 pro for 2 months and using realme 1 from last 2 weeks. I will suggest u to go with note 5 pro.
Choose realme coz of comfortable grip in hand, lightweight and attractive design.
Note 5 pro is good in battery backup, camera (realme is no where close. Relame has artificial type camera. Over exposed pictures whereas note 5 pro have wayyyyy better and near to real output), software (miui is better and u can have root access too) and overall good too coz its Snapdragon processor and gives better support. Though buying a note 5 pro can be the biggest issue (flash sales ?)
Can't find following answers anywhere about Mi 8 Lite:
1. IR Blaster works with Mi Remote to control TV etc?
2. Does it have Notification Light?
3. Which has better cameras, Mi 8 Lite vs Redmi Note 6 Pro?

1- as far as i know it doesn't have an IR blaster
2- yes, a small single color white notification led
3- i don't own/haven't used the Note 6 Pro so i can't give you a proper answer, but from what I've seen online i *think* the mi 8 lite is better
Mi 8 lite has better camera performance but mi 8 lite wifi and mobil data signal power noot good as redmi note 5 and redmi note 6.and these re very important you know.now i dontlike xiaomi brand.thisis very disgusting.why you took bad antennas in mi 8 lite why? Terrible
Hello guys! I had a blue Mi A3 for 2.5 months and the inner screen broke , while the phone dropped on its back , wearing a case .....However , because warranty does not cover screens, i'll buy it again since i liked it . My questions are these :
1) Do you think that with android 10 , Xiaomi will include an ambient display , or the phone will never get this feauture? ( double tap also , but that is a little useless with the on screen fingerprint)
2) Recently , the Mi 9 Lite launched at my country with roughly the same price ( it's the CC9 for europe ) . Should i buy that or the Mi A3 again ? My main concern is MIUI vs Stock Android , beccause elsewere , the Mi 9 Lite would be the clear choice.

1) ambient display is already present. If you mean Always On Display, this is present in the code, but not enabled by default. You need Magisk to enable it. I doubt that Xiaomi will add this feature as it needs a little refinement, but maybe they'll surprise us.
2) Mi 9 lite is also a tad bigger, for some it's important factor to consider. I guess that most people on XDA prefer clean Android over MIUI, so..get A3 again
I think you should go for mi a3 since my main reason was clean android

2 days ago I was downloading the MIUI lasted version, 12.0.2 and everything was ok until it modified my notification bar and other apps, for example I used to have the notifications from WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, and others when I received plenty all together, but now it's all extended with photos even, I want it on the old way cuz extended occupies too much space when I scroll down notifications. I will attached 2 examples on how it was and how it is, if somebody could help me I would really appreciate it, my cellphone it's a Xiaomi redmi note 9s.
