Just flash your phone via miflash, choose clean all and your phone will back to miui 8 without any problem. Of course bootloader locked again.
If you want to unlock, official way would always preferable to avoid any problem caused by unofficial way.
Thank you but phone will bricked?

You might want to take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-miui-global-stable-unofficial-t3389157 . I haven't tried it so I can't say whether it will work or not.
Good Luck.

It's up to you. It worked well for me to replace the vendor ROM my phone came with and to flash the global beta ROM before my bootloader was unlocked. I also used it to unbrick a friend's Redmi 3 prime. Just make sure to use the latest MiFlash utility and to verify that the drivers are installed properly.
But if you don't want to use edl flash, and you want to return to MIUI, I guess you'll have to try the thread I linked above.
I was wondering how to enter edl in my redmi note 3 mtk so i can flash a rom through miflash because i havent been able. If not, is there another methode (through fastboot) that i can flash it with miflash or do u recommend using the mediatek program?
Thankss

To flash ROM on Hennesey (RN3 with Mediatek processor) you cannot use Mi Flash unless your bootloader is unlocked. If your bootloader isn't unlocked, download this tool: https://upm365-my.sharepoint.com/:f...9MkFRlGO9X4XIBhx1J62r4lzGpYdiK6RhOJA?e=4ZfrmE and follow a tutorial from Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=flash+mediatek+redmi+note+3 (maybe there are even XDA posts, but I'm not sure at all)

Hi all, I am using Lineage OS 15.1 on Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon edition (unlocked bootloader).
How do I go back to global stable MIUI ?
I have to sell the phone hence have to restore it to factory condition.
Just flash the stable version of miui through fastboot. And done, as it will also relock your bootloader

Hello all,
I plan to get a OnePlus 10T soon UNLOCKED model.
What are my prospects for installing a custom ROM now or in the future? I had a OP 9 a few months ago & only had it for a short time.
Regards
LC
We don't have a MSM tool which would allow us to restore the device from bricking... Until there is an alternative method to recover.... We might not see the custom ROM development.... Thanks to the OP becoming OPPO (or vice versa) and the greedy mindset of blocking stuff...OP is no longer dev friendly but yet another ******* company
How long would it take? It's a really powerful device

Have the devs moved to another phone? Any chance of getting a flagship phone with good ROMs in the next 8 months?

I would guess that when you develop a custom ROM, the chances of bricking your phone is significantly higher than when you flash a custom ROM someone has already made

If you can't get to fastboot, you need msm and you put your phone on EDL mode. I had to do this numerous times on my 8T. It's a clean and safe way to get back to stock in almost any situation.
I reflash my phone back to stock with fastboot.

Could you post the boot file and version you used? You flashed the boot image and then all the rest of the images? Do you have the commands for every image you flashed?
If I remember I'll do it once I get out of work but that's a little ways away still but I would just recommend doing it yourself by extracting your own boot images I can and send you a link if I get time if now I'll try to remember after work.

So you didn't flash the entire stock rom? Just the boot image? It is not clear.
For unbricking entire rom is usually needed so I was looking for examples of a full stock rom flash.
I am also looking for a stock version for CPH2417... payload.bin would be amazing.
I softbricked (bootloop) and had to use the CPH2413 (India) software (not good)
