android 10 custom rom volte bug anyone else ? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

hello everyone
I have tried some custom ROMs based on android 10 and everyone has the same issue with volte.
when you boot the device with any a jio sim for the first time it will show volte if inserted in sim slot one
if inserted in sim slot 2 the device won't be able to even show the option for volte in second sim slot
if you take the sim out and reinsert in sim slot one then the device will show the option for volte but it wont be able to connect to any network
but if i insert my idea in slot one it will get network and show volte which is quite ironic as idea sim is a 2g/3g sim card
even after rebooting the hpone it will show the network injio but wont show volte in crovos
and in havoc as well similar behavior is repeated but it won't show network in havoc even after reboot in single sim mode
but using idea sim with it the idea sim has network always
is there anyway to fix it
another issue in havoc and pe is unable to deactivate any sim it says to deactivate Simcard remove it
can anyone tell me why this happens and how to fix it if possible
i was previously on havoc 2.9 where this issue is not there

Help with Samsung Win i8558 IMEI clash!!!

Hello Win'ners
Please I have this Samsung Win i8558 I got from a friend and would like to use my both lines in it (Not actually as a smartphone as I already have a Note 4) Runs on 4.2.2 but here is the problem I have with the device!
If I insert one SIM card in either slots... It reads and gets signal for the Network SIM. (either Sim1 or Sim2)
But if I slot both SIMs in both slots... It would give a "No sim card" error even when it would shows the SIM Network names under "SIM Card Manager" in settings but would not detect signal.
So I put in one SIM in sim1 and checked the IMEI via *#06# and it came up. I put in one SIM in Sim2 and checked the IMEI and found out both slots uses the same IMEI number.
If I mount both SIMs at same time and check the IMEI , it would give "Null/Null"
Any help on how to solve this problem as I have 2 network SIMs I want to use on it.
Thanks.
SOLVED
I solved the issue by flashing a later build via Odin!
Now I need root!

No network (jio)

Why doesn't my jio sim get detected? It was working well on GSI ROM until I decided to switch to different ROM. I have tried all ROMs. All Pie ROMs. None of them detect jio network. Other networks get detected. Now I switched back to GSI via nandroid backup and I see it also doesn't detect jio network anymore. Kindly help. I tried clearing cache, system, data and installing 8.1 ROM and the issue is still there.

Check your sim card, insert another jio sim card and see if it's works.

Nothing. There's no connection. Do all Pie ROMs have dual sim support?

Then that's your sim card issue, get your sim card swapped.

Samsung Galaxy J5 prime Phone not allowed error

Hello
I recently got a new sim card for my dual-sim j5 prime, upon inserting my sim in the 2nd sim slot I got a 'Phone not allowed' error in my notification bar and 'network not registered' when I try to dial something with my sim. The interesting part is that the sim attached to slot 1 is completely fine and works without a problem. For this reason I tested my new sim in slot 1 and it worked perfectly.
So this seems like a problem with my sim card slot. I tried restarting but it didn't help. Can any one please help we fix this issue?

SIM detection problem after flashing PIE ROM

I have 3GB RN3 pro. I have installed official TWRP 3.3.1. I have tried to flash most of the pie roms available for kenzo but I face the same problem.
First I flash the latest available firmware 'fw_kenzo_miui_HMNote3ProGlobal_V10.2.1.0.MHOMIXM_36c0f5ded3_6.0.zip', then ROM zip , after that I flash opengapps pico for arm64 android 9. After the first boot, I setup my device, both the sims get detected, 1st sim on 2g & 2nd on LTE. But the problem starts when I restart it again , after second boot, only 1st sim gets detected, 2nd sim shows 'Emergency call only' status. Resetting network settings, subsequent reboots do not help. Due to this issue , I am unable to use any PIE ROM.

R u using jio volte sim ?
Use volte sim for sim1
And non-volte sim in sim2.
Keep sim1 as default for data and calls.
And keep sim2 only for calls.

2nd SIM not working

A time ago I used two SIMs on my phone and they worked well.
Now that I tried again, the SIM 2 don't have service and if I change position of the SIMs then the SIM that was on port 1 stops working and the other works...
SIM 2 is recognized but no signal on it.
Any help..?

Sounds like a problem I'm facing. I had a ANE-LX1 single sim and I successfully flashed the dual sim oeminfo and dual sim rom, now I get dual sim working only when a specific sim is set as the main one (the one set for data traffic). Is it your situation?
I'm going to root the phone again to check if some update messed with the oeminfo, then I will try to force flash another dual sim rom to see if it helps...
Same problem here - currently running latest firmware available 9.1.0.257 (C432E6R1P7). Can`t force the phone to work on both cards at the same time. Works only the one set as data card.
TIA for any ideas
