Hi Guys!
I just bought the new Redmi Note 9s in Europe (which is the Note 9 Pro in India)
My problem is after I set my fingerprint, the system unlocks the phone I can hear the clicking sound but the screen do not turn on, or it turns on but just after a couple of seconds. Sometimes it works correctly. And I know that my phone is unlock cuz even though the screen is all black I still can interact with the phone, open apps etc.
It happnes when fingerprint unlock is off. The problem is wiht the screen most likely
Tried factory reseting but it did not help.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? Is this a faulty unit?

My phone (xtouch x508) isn't showing any display (even tried restarting, put it under sunlight) but I can receive sms and call, touch works too in lock and unlock. (I can see No logo at start, no display at all). However, Backlight is working. I can see light.
PS. It also happened a month ago and after 3 days display came itself. But now it's been more than a week and no sign of display.
PPS. I also changed the battery but the problem persists.
Please help me solve this issue.

Hi, I´m having a problem with my phone, the phone was working good for about 1 month and suddenly starts to turn off (with screen locked) y searched google and find out that other users was having the same problem, the problem is with the Fingerprint Unlock function, when I enable this function the phone turns off a few seconds after it´s locked.
Any adviced?
By the way... I noticed that if I'm playing music the phone didnt turn off with the screen locked.
* Factory reset-- Didn´t Work

Still turning off can it be a hardware problem?

I just got my phone the note 9s yesterday and having the same issue. I pick up the incoming call and the screen goes black. I cannot wake up the screen. I need to force reboot.

I bought my wife one and she got it yesterday and hers is doing the same thing. When she makes a call the screen goes black. If after the call she switches it off and on it works again. It's no good though if any options need to be selected in a call as the screen will not come back on
Did you find a solution?
I bought redmi note 9 pro to my girlfriend and she start to use today and says to me that's happening too

A few days back my device just stopped functioning correctly. At first I thought a restart would fix it, I wished i didnt restart as now i cant even use face unlock to unlock the phone. The screen works, but does not register any touch. The resolution seems wrong also. I can't factory reset as it requires me to type yes but i cannot use the screen. Any advice?

Good evening everybody,
my Oppo Reno 4 5G is behaving strangely / not at all since yesterday. Over night I forgot to recharge it and the battery drained flat. Next morning I recharged the phone (luckily waking up by my inner clock) and found the phone unresponsive after boot. On the Screen, only a closed lock icon is visible. When I tried to use the touchscreen, the screen flickered randomly. I attached a Video file where you can see it yourself. Other than that it will respond to no input. I even tried to attach a USB Mouse/Keyboard, but it was still unresponsive to any input. When I hold press the power button, only an empty grey box appeared. Removing the SIM card made no difference. Strangely my alarm clock was working fine when it rung.
I managed to get it into the recovery-mode. When I try to do an online or local update it asks for the lockscreen password. But I use fingerprint + pattern to unlock my phone, I don't remember setting any password. I tried already a dozen passwords i used in the past and translated the pattern into numbers but no chance. I also don't have a Google Account connected to my phone, if that's relevant. The only thing I can do in recovery is to format the phone, but I see it as a last resort. My last Backup is 3 weeks old so it wouldn't hurt that much but I actually want to keep the pictures because I was on holiday for the first time since covid in the meantime.
Has anyone ideas how to troubleshoot the problem further? It seems to boot fine, only the lockscreen seems to be broken.
