I was keeping the Pixel XL as a backup phone since getting Pixel 3XL and never bothered to tinker with it.
Recently, the Pixel 3XL gotten into a mishap and the screen got smashed badly. I had to use the OG Pixel again but getting so used to additional things available in Pixel 3XL.
I braved the myself once again and flashed this rom and oh boy, How wonderful it is!
I hope this rom gets continued and updated as needed.

EOL means end of life of android 10. We will be making ion os 3.x with android 11. I'll release the first build of ion 3.x when lineageos will have working device trees
2.9, double tap does not work to wake up the phone, and there is no ambient display, any solution or something to activate?

Yes, it kills TWRP recovery.
To enable Magisk go to Settings of Magisk > Magisk-Hide
If flashing SuperSU after rom it will keep TWRP. for me it works. Thanks dev.

For those who had the problem of stock RECOVERY, u can go to the settings --> Develpper settings --> Disable the "Automatic system update" then reflash the TWRP recovery, it will be there all the time.

Actually not, it says limited to the account storage. i experience the unlimited storage on Nexus 5X but not this time on the Nexus 6p
Bug in slow motion section
Hi, i have used the google pixel ROM in the nexus 5x until last week with no problems at all, then it get the bootlop issue so I bought a nexus 6p and I flashed this ROM in it but I notice that when you switch between 120/240 fps the camera app stops working so I really hope it will be fixed soon so I can get all pixel features also in my new phone. Thank you for developing this awesome rom.:good:

First time installing crDroid to your Google Nexus 5, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

NFC ist fixed. Voice calls via BT don't work, as it's lineage based and the bug is still present in all Oreo hammerhead ROMs.
Really really nice work !!! Has the potential to be the best here without Xposed, when the BT thing will get fixed soon.
I have been using it for one day, with ElementalX over its kernel. It looks and behaves very much like Validus, a ROM that I like. Thank you!

Camera Unknown Error I have tried with several app of cameras and always error
I have been using CRDROID for a couple of days.
I use mostly phone, messaging and some internet apps. No lags, no boot loops. I like it better than most its alternatives, including Nougat CAFs.
A problem is that I cannot link by USB to computer. I only get USB working in recovery mode....

Yes you can but if you get FC's on setup, you'll have to format Device Storage and the rom would again enable encryption.

The battery life is really amazing for me, you should try it out!
Just flashed it few hours back just bored with oxygen os pie. So far really smooth and enjoying the pixel experience.
More feedback in few days...

Just second day on this ROM.. stable and battery has been good. Give it a try you won't be disappointed! Enjoying this pixel experience so far it's buttery smooth a refresh from oxygen os pie.

That wasn't my experience..downloaded the whole thing in about 4 minutes.
OP, I flashed this ROM on my old 5X and have been loving it, simple and super stable...i came over to the surprise that it's now available for the 5T. Can't wait to flash this! Thanks for your work!

I hope this ROM will become official and add the Pixel Experience Plus ROM on it.
Now I got the ambient display on my marlin.
One thing though: Google Camera isn't working. I hope you can fix it.
Update:
I just noticed too that the BootLogo & BootAnimation remains light even though I enable dark mode in settings.
GoogleCamera PXv4.3_GoogleCamera_7.2.014.apk from cstark27 (celsoazevedo . com) works on this rom

May 14 update:
cstark27's Google Camera Mod is now included in the Official ROM. Also the Official Google Camera via Play Store is now working with the Official build. You can choose the included Google Camera Mod by cstark27 or download the Official Google Camera via the Google Play Store.
Some bugs
there's some fatal bug when it goes into deep sleep.
they get random reboots and they cannot load media files like system sound.
they even lose 40% immediately for no reason.

Please send us a logcat to help us identify the bug.
On platform-tools type cmd then type this on the command prompt:
Example:
adb logcat -d > PEMarlin.txt
Just wanted to post and say I love this rom and the general vision of pixel experience. This will certainly be my daily driver for a while.
For anyone who would be curious this works flawlessly with the ElementalX kernel and Magisk
Can you please check why some of the wallpapers from official Google live wallpapers app on this link, do not get applied while some do? If all of them start working, we would not need to include the limited live wallpapers port as the official one has all of em from OG pixel to Pixel 4. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.pixel.livewallpaper

Yes, Pixel Experience offers both. The plus version has customization options.
