I purchased a new Oppo Reno 2 phone yesterday and I am unable to get the notification/status bar to show on the lockscreen. I have the setting 'allow notification bar in lockscreen' turned on and also have the settings within the individual apps, such as whatsapp and aqua mail, to show the notifications on the lockscreen. I have rebooted the phone twice and have turned the settings off and on again to no avail. This pretty much makes the phone unusable for me as it means I have to constantly keep unlocking it to check for new messages or emails etc, unless I have seen the notification pop up initially. Has anyone got any suggestions?

on my LG G2 (KitKat) I run Light Manager and Notifier Pro, both worked, but now after I tried to speed up my phone I broke something. I still receive push notifications (and in the settings i allowed the apps to access the notifications (here a new item just called "notification" without icon occured, checking it has no effect)) but they do not react on the notifications any more. So no special notification led signs or banners (like heads up) are shown.
Which service could be broken/ which settings could be wrong?

1. No visible notifications on Notif. bar for any new messages, Whatsapp, Mails etc. All these can be seen only in drop down notifications. How to get them on top of Notif. bar. SIM Status, Net Speed, Clock, Battery is only showing in top. Not New Notifications.
2. How to Enable auto call attend when connected in headset or bluetooth. Couldn't find an option.?

I have OLX app installed on the Realme1 and my old Lenovo.
I don't get notification sound nor top notification of new messages nor a badge on the app, that shows there's a new message.
I can only know of new messages when I open the app.
Even if I open the app and keep it in the background and lock it.. still I don't get notifications.any workariund for this ??
Have switched off doze also.
Great phone with ram management issues are killing the usability of this phone.

I've looked through the settings many many times, and I can't figure out how to get notifications from apps (whatsapp plus, Bluemail, Textra) to appear on the sleep screen- the black screen that shows the clock and battery percentage. The stock messaging app will post an icon to that screen when a message arrives, but no other.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a bla-a09 US variant running version 119.
Only stock apps (message, email, call etc) appear on the Always Display Information screen. Other apps like WhatsApp, Facebook etc won't show there. This is how Huawei's software works.

I try to get the floating notification when getting a mail. I enabled it in the gmail notification settings but nothings happens when the screen is on. Just a beep that I got a mail. Any Ideas?
Moreover is it possible to set the lockscreen notification on for all apps or do I have to enable this for every app? And can I configure it that the notifications stay at the lockscreen until I deleted (wished away) the notification?
I have the same problem with mi max2. The only app in my phone that can not show floating notifications is the Gmail app. I get notifications on the lock screen but when the screen is on just a sound and the Gmail icon on the bar.
So I just recently bought this device about 3 days ago. I'm a former iOS user and I'm really missing pop-up notifications on this device.
I'm aware that they do exist and work, but not in my case.
I've tried setting setting up App launch, Notification management settings, manually checking if an app like Messenger has notifications enabled.
I am getting notifications to my lock screen and status bar, sound and vibration, but I'm not getting pop up notifications while I'm doing something on my phone which is really annoying.
I've also disabled notifications on the status bar, but I'm pretty sure that's not the problem.
Another thing I've tried is using a fake notification app and setting up a custom notification. It works just like described above while the priority is set to 'normal'. When I set it to 'high' priority, only then it gives me a pop up notification.
Sorry if I'm not very clear on this.
I'm running EMUI 8.2.0 and Android 8.1.0, also using Nova launcher prime if that's any useful info.
