Hi All,
managed to run few benchmarks to compare my reliable old p30 pro 256gb VOG-L29 running 10.0.0.195 ( no update yet in UK ) vs p30 pro ne VOG-L29 running 10.1.0.123 patch2, both phone had cleared all background apps and both phones had same temperature
Geekbench 5.2.0
P30 pro = 687/2391
P30 pro NE = 693/2463
Antutu 8.3.6
P30 pro = 390127
P30 pro NE = 394521
Happy to do more tests, benchmarks, but as expected NE version is little bit faster due UFS 3.0, still I think 10.1.0123 is not best update for this great phone and I hope huawei will fix it as fastest as they can.
Have great day..

Simple but interesting question, does the mate 20 pro work with the 22.5W "old" Huawei supercharge or it works only with the 40W supercharge? As I'm planning to upgrade from mate 9 to mate 20 pro
Yes the 1st generation Supercharger will work on the M20 Pro but it will be a little slower compared to the 40W brick.
Hi guys. I have mi9 64gb and it's very good phone in all categories but the 64gb fills too fast..
I'm thinking to switch to mate 20 pro (I had mate 10 pro for 6 months)
Is it worth?
What u recommend me to do?
Thx.
The power of the Mi 9 be with you
i had a mi9 too and compared with my mate 20 pro - no chance.
accu was down in less a day and the camera is overhyped - maybe with a good google camera port its possible to improve the quality but compared with the mate 20 - no chance
concerning the accu, i think i had a bad device, without sim card and without any connection, just in standby the phone lost 20% battery in 2 hours.
i selled the device because i can'f find the issue AND i'm a xiaomi fanboy.
sorry but i'm done with the mi9, the mi8 from my girlfriend is a super phone and just for my feelings - the camera of the mi8 is better as the mi9 (due to optical image stabilization)
since the mi9 was tested in dxomark and i had the chance to compare these two device i know dxomark is very very subjective.
I like Xiaomi phones and prefer MIUI to EMUI but in terms of hardware and camera quality Xiaomi doesn't have anything comparable to M20P yet.

If you are in rooting and stuff you will be disappointed with the mate 20 pro, bootloader unlock code costs money ranging from $20 to $50 may be more and that's only if the servers are up and running, like atm the service is dead.

If you're into that kind of thing it doesn't really make sense to buy Xiaomi or Huawei phones since neither company is developer friendly and there doesn't tend to be much development for either company's phones--and whatever development there is for Xiaomi phones tends to be for their Redmi devices since those sell in the largest numbers.
The XDA development threads for both the M20P and MI 9 are pretty empty.
Hardware mate 20 pro... Software mi9
So if u want a phone with a better camera, speakers, display, battery life, network strength etc then get a mate 20, it's even better than p30 pro (honestly this phone is wack and just a marketing and dishonest reviewers hype).
If u are one of the ones (like me) who just appreciate the software experience, animations, better themes then get anything else including mi9 ... Right now the Samsung oneUI is the best skin out there but miui is awesome as well
I need to buy phone for someone who is not very tech savvy. After doing multiple rounds of research, I have zero'ed in on Realme 3 pro or Redmi Note 7 Pro.
RN7 Pro over RM3 pro: Splash resistance, better 4g+ (3CA vs 2CA), more community support (if it comes to changing ROM, however I doubt, probably would be used all stock), type C USB
RM3 Pro over RN7 Pro: Dedicated microSD card slot, MIUI is bloated on RN7p
I'm unsure about camera, but I think RM3p has better camera than rn7p (both front & back)
Now I'm posting in Realme forums means i'm inching towards Realme, just wanted to know if there are any major problems with this set ? How is the ROM, is it stable for daily use?
I know RM5 pro is also around the corner, but I feeling buying a new phone can be risky as there is no feedback of actual product.

Hello @Mafioso
I just received Realme 3 Pro 6/128gb model. Previously i was using Redmi Note 7 non Pro version because the Pro version is only indian exclusive. So if i compared it with RN7, yes Realme 3 Pro is better in some ways. But yes there is very little android development for RM3P.
Here are some Pros and Cons of RM3P
Pros of RM3P:
- Fast, latest and battery efficient chip
- Far better cameras than RN7 (but i heard that RN7P camers are way better than normal RN7, but never tested by myself)
- Very little android development
- Vooc charging and vooc charger is also included in the box.
And maybe more
Cons:
- Completely Plastic made
- No type C port
- maybe more
Conclusion
So, if you are a guy who want to flash different roms than RM3P is not for you. But overall a good device with good hardware that can handle everyday task easily and a good battery.

After 3 months of using realme 3 pro I suggest you buy redminote 7 pro. It's not a bad phone, but the OS color is still unripe ... MIUI is much better and well optimized.
Realme 5 pro if you want color os or redmi note 7 pro for miui, miui is more stable in day to day usage and snappy.
The Oneplus 7t Pro 8GB variant and the Oneplus 7 Pro 12 GB variant are now priced similarly... I am a bit confused among them: Though they are very similar but the 7t pro has the overclocked 855+,warp charge 30t and the super macro but the 7 Pro 12 GB has extra RAM... Also most of the reviews show the 7t to be performing better in the benchmarking tests...
So which one will be a wiser decision?
Please post your comments and help me choose
I'd go for the 7T Pro because of the small features and updates it comes with. You won't ever use more than 6GB of RAM on a phone since you already need to some crazy things to go over 4GB. So most of the extra RAM you have on the 7 Pro will hardly ever be used.
Hi friends. which is better?

I did the same, after OnePlus one, 2, 3, 5, and 6. My son has still the 5, and my wife the 6.

The camera on the Mi 10 pro ist better. The supermacro is the only thing where the OP8 Pro shines (compared to the Mi 10 pro). The OP8 Pro has a good camera though.
The OP8 Pro has a tad less dynamic range, just a small zoom range and a problem with lens flares: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8-pro/help/camera-lens-flare-t4090253/amp/
The selfie camera is a tad better though.
