Hi, I'm new, happy owner of Amazfit Pace (A1612) and want to sync with MiFit app.
After reading other topics I need a little help to do it right:
- do I need to install custom rom?
- do I need to get special MiFit App (which one?)
- do I need to set Chinese localization?
- do I need to get special Amazfit App (which one?)

Not working I don't get any data from Amazfit to MiFit.
What i do:
- remove MiFit, Amazfit Apps
- install version Amazfit 1.7.4.4-dev
- create Xiaomi Account
- pair watch
- install MiFit, log into Xiaomi Account
- try to pair with watch, but nothing change

Help needed
My setup: PF ROM 1.2.49k, MiFit 3.2.9 and Amazfit pace 2.2 apps both from Mi App Store, logged in both apps with the same Mi account. MiFit gets data about activities (incl. HR) and steps from Amazfit, but: I cannot add Pace as synchronised device (setup ends with opening Amazfit app), to see steps counted by watch I have to press on the main counter of steps (main counter shows steps counted by phone, going into details I see data from watch). Bit upsetting situation.
Tried all the solutions from the forum, installing older versions of apps, mixing EN and CN versions, cleaning cache and data of apps, logging with Xiaomi account by e-mail or phone number, all the time the same situation. Adding device process in Mi Fit ends with opening Amazfit app and can only close or go back to Mi Fit and start over. Watch is not being added to the list of devices. In general - I can see all the data in Amazfit, but just being stubborn to have things working I would like to see this watch in Mi Fit such as Mi Scale etc. Any ideas?

This happens when the accounts don't match between the two apps. Open Mi Fit and the Amazfit app, go to the account settings on both and compare the IDs, they should match. If they don't, you need to make them match by signing out of one (clear data) and signing in correctly. You can also use the same Google account on both, that works

Doesn't work for me. I have the same ID in both apps, tried loging on, login off, using e-mail or phone number, even deleting both apps permisions in Xiaomi account to refresh them.
Sync of some data works - so no problem with IDs, just cannot add watch to Mi Fit.

Exactly the same for me, tried above and unable to register Pace to Mi Fit.
Though when I click on Pair, it takes me to the Amazfit app details, however doesn't hold the watch as a paired device.

So - the same problem. It is strange, that when login by Xiaomi account I have different ID in Mi Fit and Amazfit (same for both apps) and ID in Mi Home and other Xiaomi appps. BTW, added Pace to Mi Home without any problems.

-Factory reset on watch.
-VPN Tunnel Bear connected to JAPAN
-From mi app :
*add pace =>amazfit app installing from mi app
*login in amazfit app with mi account
-Stop Tunnel Bear
then mi id is share with amazfit and mi app
Note :
i have lost all my activities history
I can sync with google fit
No more strava automatic sync (you can do it by importing GPX files to strava)
The amazfit chiniese app (in english) have more features : import to watch from android app !

Sadly that didn't work for me either. Guess I am back to hoping that someone will write a usable third party app...

Mine is working fine as posted earlier.
Previously I have been completing walks and under sport they have been showing the map of my city and the route where I had walked.
This morning, under sport and my walk event, it's showing the distance and the line to signify where I had walked, except it's not accessing the GPS for the map of my city. Did I forget to activate something again since installing the new Amazfit app or is this happening to you also?

So, as I understand you use Mi Fit from Google Play? The one from Mi store syncs only with Chinese aacounts (WeChat, QQ, Weibo). Am I right?

Yes, "standard" MI Fit from google play.

did you talking about mi fit app or amazfit app ? anyway in both app step counting never show maps.
Only in google fit you can have a location as there is a link between the event and the location tracking of the phone.

But when I try to view the data in MI Fit, I don't see the device is connected. when I click on the add device it just takes me to the Amazfit App. Please advise what am I doing wrong in the steps.
1. Enable app listing on Pace (search forum, you must see an app called "BLE connect" when you swipe left with other app icons, basically you must push an empty file called "launcher_config.ini" to watch's folder /sdcard/, or take a clear screenshot of you watch's QR code when paired the first time below);
2. Install Amazfit app in Chinese, and MiFit, login using a Mi account (create one if needed) on Amazfit, pair watch, open MiFit and verify that watch is bound to your Mi account too;
3. Do not unpair, logout from MiFit and uninstall Amazfit CN;

Does this method still work?
If yes, which version of every app I've to install in order to have the watch paired inside the mi fit app?
The goal is to have the watch paired inside mifit to sync step into google fit, all of this with the stratos
Any idea?

Although I posted this a while ago, now I think it will hardly work... I got a new Int Pace (A1612) and perhaps I will try to reproduce it step by step. Now it's synced with Amazfit US account on iOS.

Thanks for the info! I made some test but never found a solution in order to have the watch synced with mi fit then with google fit!
Seems that I've to find an old version of mifit that permit to pair the watch instead open amazfit app. Tried some old version but not the working one
I'm trying with the stratos but I think is the same with the pace

Amazfit 2 Stratos ROM 2.3.2.7
Mi Fit iOS app 3.3.0
Amazfit Watch app iOS 2.1.4
I've signed in with the same account.
Can't sync between Mi fit and Amazfit Watch. The watch is synced with the amazfit watch app, but when i go to Mi Fit app and try to add device, u choose the stratos and then "pair". it opens the Amazfit Watch app, and starts the sync message. When i click back to Mi Fit app, it is stil in the "Pair or Cancel" menu !!!

It doesn't work for me either. I think it's just a bug in the app.
At least on Android, this happens when you're using the international Amazfit app. Mi Fit only works with the Chinese Amazfit app, and the Chinese firmware.

For Mi Fit sync you must be running the Chinese firmware with the Chinese Amazfit app. It will not work otherwise.
Hello Everyone,
To use your amazfit GTR with mi fit app and not the amazfit app you must:
-install mi fit app
-install amazfit app
-associate watch to amazfit app
-open Mi fit app and the watch will be there
-ocpional (uninstall the amazfit app)
I prefer the xiaomi mi fit APP because I can associate with the google fit app
Tested with my oneplus 6 and amazft GTR internatinal version.

I tried before. Mi Fit won't sync for some activities compared to Amazfit app. Seem watch face sync also not there.
You can link to strava and then have strava link to google fit again. I use this way.

The watchfaces you are Wright but I choose before the ones I liked in amazfit app and never used the app since.

I ve got 2 problems with my GTR.
I can't synchronize my GTR activities with strava, it do not work whereas it work with my PACE.
In amazfit app it's not possible to delete a GTR activity whereas it's possible to PACE activity.
Have you got the same problems ?

For Strava, i found this, Strava will sync only activity with map data. Mine only sync that way and i do not know if it's normal as i'm new for strava.
Amazfit app can delete activity, just tap "see more exercises" then you just tap and hold that activity. it will prompt the action to delete.

It's to battery economy.
Mine is full screen bright and 30 minutos to 30 minutos heat rate and the battery is incredible

Use only AmazFit, all Huami devices should be paired with Amazfit Wacth app only.

No, only if you downgrade, but then GTR isn't support. You need a third party app (either MiFit or Notify&Fitness).
Hi, I can't synchronize mi GTR activities with Google fit correctly. The heart points are not synchronized. I use my fit app, the movement minutes are syncronizad but not the heart points.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I just bought GTR 42mm version. I have iPhone with iOS 13.2.3 version and I am usign the Amazfit app. Almost all notifications are working fine on the watch like FB, whatsapp, calling, messages, but calendar and email notifications dont work. I had MiBand 4 and MiFit app and everything worked fine. Do you know what could be wrong with Amazfit app or what setting I should change? I wanted keep using MiFitt app, but this app did not recognized the GTR watch.

I have a GTR 47mm with a iPhone 13.2.3. The e-mail(Gmail and Apple mail) and calendar notification works perfect on my GTR. Do you have 'Other' enabled in 'App alerts' in Amazfit?
Built-in calendar app never worked with me with Amazfit Watch app on iOS, I only started to get events notifications when I started using Spark app, that seamless integrates with the device's calendar.

This is strange, because I had no issue with MiFit and Band 4. Is Amazfit app. made by other company?
