Hello, the device has the Samsung members app. Looking at the application in the notices section I found that information. if you are in stock rom open the application and look for Android 10 update.
In this link says the update will release on november!

Do you have any info about Android 5.0 (Lollipop) for our Honor/Mediapad X1 ?
I kinda would also love to know about Huawei updates, in my case for MediaPad M1. But wer are dealing with Huawei here (my first Android device ever was U8880...) and the X1 been only out since april 2014 and M1 since may 2014, making these devices barely 6 months old, i think tho, if we are not seeing official updates once the devices are ~1 year old, we aint gettin anything. As of now, my device has the stock firmware, that's Android 4.2.2 with EMUI 2.0 and not a single update available, at this point, even update to 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 with EMUI 2.3 or 3 would be friggin marvelous.

99% a hoax.
Few things gave it away:
1) It claimed to be from xda-developers, now I don't see any lollipop rom for X1 here, do u?
2) I don't think any rom for lollipop will be as small as 128MB, and in these days, I don't think any uploader will be splitting a 128MB file into 3 parts, unless ..
3) .. all he/she wants is for the potential downloader to complete as many surveys as possible! Any download that require one to complete a survey beforehand is usually shady.
Proceed with caution if you still wish to find out for yourself.

Please note that sometime ago Huawei declared a list of devices that would get Lollipop update. Mediapad X1 was not listed. So don't expect any upgrade to Lollipop for our device from the manufacturer.

Dear even if Huawei provide lollipop rom upgrade to x1, it is not going to make any difference. Have you watched videos of x2? There is no difference in the UI of X1 with Kitkat or X2 with Lollipop, as both have EMUI 3.x. IMHO the real joy of having Lollipop is with the stock experience and with tweaks added from CM.

Do correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not the anticipated 7.1.1 OTA, but the first (and only) leaked beta.
It has been out for a while.
As far as I know V1.2.B01 means Beta.
You can compare it with the 2 weeks old Rom.
But I will download it anyway and do a SHA1 check.

I have asked Huawei for the P9 Plus Oreo update, this is a translation of what they responded. Original message was in Dutch since I am from Belgium. I contacted my local Huawei support.
"We understand that you would love to have Android 8.0 on your device. On this moment, we do not have an exact date on when Android 8.0 will be available for your device, but it is to be expected on Q1 of 2018. Please be convinced that we are working to get all the devices with the required specs on the best software-update version, so most likely for your device as well. But when this is happening is still to be confirmed. We are currently working on the development for Android 8.0 update for the Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, P10 and P10 Plus. When you will receive the update will also depent from your provider. Some provider tweak the update right before they sent it OTA to their customers. Please check for an OTA update regularly to see if there is an update available via: Settings - System update - Check for system updates."

You must contact EMUI directly & not the local Huawei Service, everytime local Huawei Service don't have any informations. EMUI 8 IS CONFIRMED FOR P9 PLUS, you can find also an article from xda site.
This is awesome, still a great phone that works stellar for me. And now the security patches have been ticking in lately so Huawei do start to look like the top notch they wants to be

I talked to Huawei USA Customer support on 12-21-18 and they stated the for the model BLA-A09 US Model that it will start receiving the Android Pie 9 update around mid-January 2019 via the OTA update feature.

The updates will be completed by the second half of February.
This depends on the Serial Number, the Model and the Region of each device.
That would be the reason why it is not with you yet.

My phone updated today, Saturday January 26th Central Time USA
Official Build version is: BLA-A09 9.0.0.201 C567E6R1P11
I did a Factory Reset after the install, which always should be done when a major firmware update occurs. Phone seems to be running fine so far.
Will let it run after a full charge for next 24 hours or so to let the system smooth out and such.
BTW - the option IS AVAILABLE TO REVERT BACK TO THE OLD EMUI 8 IF DESIRED.
I'll believe it when I receive it. Customer support hasn't been reliable at all for me.
That said, I hope it's true this time.
Well, Huawei has been piss poor about updates for this device so I'd take that with a grain of salt and won't be holding my breath waiting for any updates or support from Huawei.

Wow, surprising to see an update on Firmware Finder. I thought it stopped working for the US model after not seeing any updates for over half a year.
Downloading this file now.....
I'm running a stock mate 10 pro, and just started downloading the two files. Can't I just flash my device after the downloads are complete? Will there be any complications? If I can't then oh well, I'll just end up deleting the files and wait till I get the notification to download ota.
US variant recently got the December security patch. Security updates have been there, but feature updates have been lacking. I got the last update a couple of days after finding out about it, but the combined October and November Patch took a month to reach my device. Pleasant surprise to see that the EMUI 9 OTA will likely be rolling out soon-ish.

Unless it is authorized it won't install anyway, besides the fact that the US model only does online updates, you can't download and install anything with this device
I checked firmware finder and the pie uptade for the US Mate 10 Pro is there but when I check firmware the application says "the firmware is not approved for installation".
What exactly does that mean?
Can I force the Pie update through the app?

Anyway guys i jumped the gun and did the update via firmware finder here is proof we finally have pie !!! .I can tell you the system update improved performance things are really snappy and really liking the pie theme layout enjoy ! Its probably only a matter of time till it hits the update ota servers but I was to greedy to wait and had to do it .

Maybe the version on Firmware finder isn't the final version? The international L29 Mate 10 Pro says EMUI 9 not 8.

That's not even the same build number that is on firmware finder (BLA-A09C567E6R1P11R201), nor is it EMUI 9 like the build on firmware finder. EMUI 8 is Oreo, EMUI 9 is Pie. EMUI is not just a "skin" as you put it. If in fact you installed something it sure wasn't what you think it is. Since you must have unlocked your phone and installed a custom recovery you pretty much could have installed anything (stock recovery won't allow you to install non authorized firmware).

It means exactly what it says, the firmware is not approved. Firmware that is not "approved" can't be installed as the stock recovery checks the approval, you can't force it using the firmware finder app. The only way you can install non approved firmware is to install a custom recovery that does not check.
How long you think till the update is approved? I just don't see the point of listing it if it's not approved yet.

From what I heard from Huawei customer support the rollout for the US model would start sometime in February, so I don't see that firmware on FF being approved any time before that. Also, based on the really piss poor record Huawei has on keeping their word on things I wouldn't bet on them keeping that date, so don't hold your breath waiting.
BLA-A09 updates will be completed by the second half of February.
I didn't feel comfortable with Firmware Finder app since the update wasn't an "OFFICIAL" update.
I was told that it depends on the Serial Number, the Model and the Region of each device.
