Hi guys lately there was no update on aosp 9 for this device nor of the aosp 8.1 for this device (by cubbins) . I tested both of them and aosp 9 reboots after few minutes but the sound problem has been fixed. Anyone upto build another rom or fix this, I got an lineage os 15.1 source also how is the idea of porting existing lin 15.1 tree of a moto device to xperia m4 with same processor and build one lineage os 15.1??

Since the A520F is new there is no device three to build a rr rom or lineage OS.
There is no recent documentation, and in the newer branches there is no makevendor.sh in the source of lineage OS.
So it seems to it is impossible to build a unofficial lineage OS or make a device tree and build cm14 from the Samsung OS files.
Can someone help me out of this?
I got the kernel source from Samsung open source and platform.tar

I have no idea on what the nougat state is for this device.
The only thread I saw is a sonyxperiadev based aosp 7 and a deprecated lineage 13.0.
Is someone working on stock porting custom rom for this device?
I don't have M4 aqua right know but if someone is ok to sell me a broken/bricked etc... device I will be glad to help on lineage port here

I haven't seen any recent Sony Devices that get Official Lineage OS, at least from 2014. So, don't put any hopes on X
I tryed to build lineage os 14.1 for z ultra,device tree i used cm-13.0 ,kernel and other dependency i used z1 lineageos 14.1 and kernel deconfig I used sony and SuperLamic instead.the building is success，and i flashed it to z ultra .there are some peoblems:
1. touchsreen not work （driver max1187x）,but mouse works very well . I used "dumpsys input" command ,there is no touchsreen device.
2. there is no sound
3. camera not work.
