This is the 9s/9 Pro forum, although I would suspect both would run a 64bit OS.
For Note 9s from AIDA64 app: Instruction set - 64-bit ARMv8-A
Supported ABIs - arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, armeabi
Supported 64bit APIs - arm64-v8a
Or check via (also confirms.64bit OS):

Thank you for your answer, there was no forum for redmi 9 up yet, so I figured maybe this is the closest one.
I can't check because I wanted to know before buying it actually, but I can't find an answer from any current redmi 9 user.

Redmi 3 Pro: most purer-stable rom out there?

Hi
Whats up?
Bought the Redmi 3 Pro 3GB/32GB version.
After read a lot and especially the ROMs suitable for Redmi 3 Pro thread
I read that the MIUI's rom is onerous the phone with so much bloatware apps(cleanmaster, antivrus, Micloud and so more).
So, what is the most stable rooted rom w/o bugs at the area? (Read that the CM13 still have some annoying bugs)
I'm totally noob at the beginning after buying a new device
Saw the MIUI 8 V6.7.7 -BUT- still prefer more "puerer" rom and ofcoarse - with the least Lags as possible.
Prefer a rom that comes rooted comes with twrp + gapps installed that keeps the great battery life of the RN3 PRO.
Is there a "tut's" for how to?
Thanks very much for your help
Been using nehz's CM 12.1 for weeks and it's been pretty stable, some small bugs but it's not that bad. Battery life is almost the same as MIUI, I get a 6.5 to 7 hours SOT.
I'm new to MIUI also have a Redmi 3 pro for two weeks now and I have to say I'm quite happy with MIUI so far. Im currently running the MIUI 8 spaceX rom which is rooted so any apps I don't want to use I have frozen or uninstalled using titanium backup. Before this I've always had some form of CyanogenMod on my older phones and thought that I'd have to flash cm again but so far I'm happy with MIUI

Thanks for your replays!
I always prefer a ROM without bloatware, that's why I think I would prefer the CM.
Is there a way to flash the ROM and and root it at the same process?
Thanks again.
There's no bloatware in the either of ManHiT's MIUI roms. Maybe 6 or 7 system apps that you won't want to use but these are easily uninstalled once you have root.

I second this. In SpaceX/Manh_IT bloatware should not be a problem. I've rooted and removed the ones that I do not use. Just make sure you NEVER remove the MI Account and Find Phone applications. IT WILL render your phone unuseful and needing to flash again.
Thanks very much for your help.
I got the MTK Helio X10 version.
I understood that this is a sub-model for the Chiniese market.
I plan to root it and in case i wont be satified with the MIUI, would flash some clean rom that would be as close to a stock android.
Is there any GLOBAL rom for this model?
Have a good weekend!

Redmi 3 is a model for the Chinese model, there is no submodel. You probably got a fake.

Hi,
This is what I ordered:
http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiao...7-16-0MP-TOUCH-ID---Silvery-White-362395.html
Are you sure that there is 1 global model?
Cuase, I read that there is 2 models with 2 different proccesors:
1) MTK chipsent (Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core Helio X10)
2) MSM chipsent (Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650)
So there is must be a defference with the roms for the 2 sus model's, arent?
Would love to be more clear about that.
Thanks!

EMUI Port for Redmi Note 3 Pro (Snapdragon)

Hello,
I have one question for developers from this forum. Is it possible to port EMUI to Redmi Note 3 Pro? I know that it's almost same as MIUI, but I still really like it. I could try to port it, but if it's not possible to do that, there is no point in it.
Thanks for all answers
My English isn't good, so I'm sorry if I wrote something wrong
I don't know about any device that is running emui with snapdragon. From this the whole topic is lost.

Wich TWRP and Magisk that support with Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon MIUI 11

I just reflash my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 snapdragon. And I just upgrade my MIUI 10 to MIUI 11.
I want to ask wich TWRP and Magisk that support my
gadget specification above?
Thankyou for your answer.

Thanx a lot. That means that I can flash it on my curtana
Do Miatoll roms need twrp-unified-mauronofrio custom recovery to flash? or I can flash them with any custom recoveries like pitchblack
I mean, is the miatoll device tree embedded in the rom file or need an especiall custom recovery like that I said ?
No need of any special custom recovery u can use pitchblack recovery
Miatoll is the codename of unified branches of Curtana, Joyeuse, Excalibur and Gram.
It means any ROMS and recovery for "Miatoll" should work across the four devices under it.
One curious query
Does it apply to poco m2 pro as well?

I already know that. but it looks like miui 12 is doing all the work for poco m2 pro. Nowadays other custom roms doesn't require much attention specially in the case of mi device. You see the developers eventually leaves the project.

I agree with u that miui 12 hv all things..but i think Devs are not leaving they are working on Android 11
To make it also MIATOLL from the start.. bcoz our device is probably going get the android 11 update from the 1st quarter of 2021 officially..

Anex cam is giving me doubts regarding quality and all, and the gapps support is also questionable. As most devs recommend pico gapps while myself personally think aroma is a better option than that. That way we can choose for ourselves. But those things are preincluded in miui roms which is beneficial for a certain amount of time. And to be honest miui is packing most of the customisations in it that substratum, rr and others do. It's getting even better. And more stable than custom roms. As they are official and guarantees all features and optimisations.
Does it also apply to the Redmi Note 9? I indeed see it listed for PixelExperience as 9S, 9 Pro, Pro Max and POCO M2 Pro. But not specifically for the 9.
Can anyone confirm?
Edit: I already got an answer in the PE chat. It is a whole different device.
miatoll = curtana + excalibur + joyeuse + gram

Not all.
Merlin is Redmi Note 9 and it is not "miatoll".
Merlin, does NOT shares the same kernel with Curtana, Joyeuse, Excalibur and Gram.
It shares the same kernel of Redmi 10X 4G, Redmi 9 and Redmi POCO M2.

Lol Dude... Did you see i have mentioned "merlin" or standard Redmi Note 9 somewhere?
This thread is for the Pro and S models with Snapdragon devices. The standard note 9 doesn't have a Snapdragon and doesn't even belongs here. That will confuse people only.

Also I'm not interested to discuss with smart alecks.

This confused me too... Curtana would be any device RN9s (global?) / RN9 Pro (indian?), correct?
... What devices are these: Excalibur, Joyeuse, Gram?
My device is the RN9s (global?)... I should use the procedures for the Curtana or Miatoll (all/anyone), correct?
Xiaomi POCO M2 Pro / Redmi Note 9S / Redmi Note 9 Pro / Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are miatoll. The procedure is the same for all these devices:

Question about Xiaomi 6A 64bit

Hey guys,
to start I'd like to say I'm an absolute noob when it comes to custom roms and android flashing in general, so excuse me if I'm asking a stupid question.
I have a Xiaomi 6A that's in 32bit mode which doesn't allow 64bit apps, now I've checked the specs of it's CPU and 64bit is supported, my question is it possible to turn it into 64bit, if so is it something you would recommend me doing as an android noob, a tutorial that would cover my situation would be helpful, my device's specs are below, thanks for your time.
SPECS:
MIUI Version: MIUI GLOBAL 11.0.8/Stable
Android Version: 9 PPR1
RAM: 2.00GB
CPU: Quad-Core Max 2.00Ghz
Storage: 16GB total
