Did you ever get this work? I notice your post is quite old now.
There is a risk of bootloop by patching your boot img this way on these devices. Best to wait and see because you patch boot and flash and brick the device. Your screwed

i tink the Rockchip RK3168 is an alyen for xda dev :laugh:
hi all I have intex aqua power pro (mediatek mt6580) i have tried almost all rooting techniques but could not get success. Can anyone please give me the solution of this problem.
you can only root by installing TWRP first and flash SuperSU zip installer.
Just flash any twrp recovery for mt6580 and flash supersu with it.

Hello,
so I replaced the kernel for the one work for mi device but i have a small problem that I can not find where I can paste the code to rotate my touch screen digitizer input so in TWRP mode i can use 180 rotated touch or OTG.
Can somebody help me to find out how to do this ?

change the file libminuitwrp.so in ramdisk/sbin of your TWRP, or change the kernel( raplace with your stock kernel) in this twrp-3.5.0.img
I hava a china made no-name tablet with SoC mt8163 and NO recovery.
There is no help out there (that I can find) about porting a TWRP or CWM for the 81xx chipset.
Does anyone know if easy magic will work?
By what I have been reading I can use my boot.img to create a recovery.img and then
dd it to mmcblk0p9 (my recovery block device).
Any help would sure be appreciated.
Oh, I'm running Linux and don't have Windows. Is there a replacement to easy magic for linux?
