There has been no word or activity on the miui thread. The miui 4.8.8 has been pulled out and thread frozen.
Do you know if the development of this custom ROM has been stopped or is there a chance that it may be renewed?

Dont worry kumar ..i have contacted the developer:laugh: ...he is just busy.....he will be back in a week with update:fingers-crossed:...so wait until he shows up

There was an announcement for 9.1.3 only as closed beta because of holidays. The will be a new public beta next week.

Ah. The "next week" was from the announcement for 9.1.3. So actually we can hope for an update THIS Friday.

I was trying to install the 9.1.7 closed beta...wasn't aware you actually had to be closed beta team member.
Guess I'll be waiting for the delayed open beta release.
The 9.1.10 has been suspended again for MI 8. For problem to boot. It's a shame. Where they take the developers?

You can flash it with TWRP without issues. You won't have to wipe or lose data. (if you are already on open BETA)

The closed beta posted (9.1.7) enables hide the notch again, but it has too much space under the notch. The time also replaces the icons after a set number of seconds (smh rediculous). The new closed beta (9.1.10) enables a new 'Dark' theme under the battery saver settings
UPDATE: Though the official Open Beta is in deed officially suspended, i would bet it will get re-released Monday as mostly has in the past.

Well, Assuming its true, Redmi 5 plus will get MIUI 11 next year I guess.
Apart from stock MIUI rom, there are some custom MIUI Rom out there that you choose from, like MIUI MIX, MI ROOM and MIUI PRO. It is not my work but i'd like to share it with you, This maybe not a new one but i haven't find the link here in the forum. So i decided to post the link below.

As soon as they demonstrate that they are out of a "fork" of MIUIPRO rom it will be acceptable.
They have been reported many time in the past.
Discussion is open.
A great rom, one of the best I've tried in this and other terminals, give support, support and in their channels they always treat you with the respect you deserve.

Y're right. I also made use of it after MUIUPRO asked for money.
Not really fair, but It's a kind of parity...
Did you check if it is well encrypting at TWRP latest? Because I only found EU and Globe daughter able to well encrypt as it is mandatory for my peace of mind.
Hello, is this stable enough to be used as a daily driver? It's better than 11.0.3 android 9?

That was in the past! When the rom was good and had a lot of customization. As soon as they stopped copying miuipro stuff, the rom lost all customization.
The dev said it was because he changed the base rom to one more stable and that customization would come back, but he was never able to do it.
In my opinion, is not even better than miui EU. It's a normal miui rom with YouTube vanced and micro g installed. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Well truth said , and Dev also release update late to show they are not copying but they are copying EU rom now ..

It is stable as long as you do a CLEAN FLASH. I tried a dirty flash and device reboots every 5 min.
