Okay, let's go through this again. What do you need it for? A 2100mhz baseband won't do you any good unless you adjust gains and even then you risk making your unit work harder.

Go into settings, system, and about device. Tell me what it says under baseband.

Well, then your backup won't do you any good. You're using an NA baseband.
If you're sure you have an EU unit, you can try flashing an EU backup but you'd be better off flashing one of the newer firmwares I linked in the EnSec thread (specifically the EnSec-EU-0706 for non-May units).
It will change your baseband to an EU, but won't guarantee you a 3G connection. If you have a 1900MHz antenna nothing you do will make it magically connect.
Where can i download a EU Backup? With the original Rom the 3g has worked

Look, let me be frank with you. You're not really giving me any information to go by here. What original ROM? What did you do that made it not work?
Please, stop talking in single-line sentences asking for software you're not even sure is going to fix your problem.
Kuronosan, he don't speak English so good, but I think he is saying he had one of the many 2100 releases with the 2100 antenna, but somehow flashed something that had the 1900 radio in it and now he can't get 2100 reception any more.
Yes, maybe he got a misdirected 1900 unit, with that antenna (what's the difference ? those were clipped a little bit shorter ?), in which case he would have never had any data connection, other than WiFi, but in that case he is Screwed By Omate (tm) and good luck to him.
Ah, then I have a solution for that.
guys i have a question,i m from Greece and i have a problem with my signal..Although it has 2-3 bars outside ...indoors i have nothing
i went to settings/about device, and in baseband version it says moly.wr8.w1315.md.wg.mp.v4,2013/08/14
does it mean i have a 1900mhz unit?if i root it and flash a new rom and flash again the 2100 baseband,is there any chance to work better?

No. Your baseband is most definitely for 2100MHz. The 1900MHz modem is dated in November.
The question is what Antenna you have, and unfortunately I cannot answer that question for you. I do know that when I had my 1900MHz unit tethered to T-Mobile I had absolutely zero issues with signal indoors.
I don't really have a solution for you outside of trying another SIM or carrier. Other than taking it to someone who has a 1900MHz SIM carrier there's no way to test the difference.

Hi Kuronosan,
I have actually the same issue but in reverse as discussed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/omate-truesmart/help/loki-flashable-baseband-zips-available-t2818169
Loki said you might have the US baseband in a TWRP flashable zip? I have a US 1/8/1900 and I flashed another rom that was originally EU based. It works, but it changed my baseband to EU. I can make calls but my data is stuck on EDGE speed. I restored my NVRAM from my previous backup, but my baseband still shows that its EU (MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V4, 2013/08/14)
Would you happen to have the US baseband .zip?
TIA

You're welcome.
Hello All,
I just got the Galaxy S9+ Brazilian variant SM-G9650 with original ZTO CSC.
I want to know if I can change the firmware to the TMB CSC, T-Mobile USA SM-G965U, without any damage. (via Odin)
Both variants have exactly the same hardware.
up
I have an unlocked exynos variant. The original csc when I got the phone was ITV (Italy). I live in Greece and when I inserted my Greek operator sim card, I got a message saying that I should factory reset the phone with the sim card inserted so as to get the proper settings for my region.
I did the factory reset, and after the reboot the csc of the phone changed to EUR (Greece), i.e. to the csc of my sim card.
Is that what you are asking?
Otherwise as you said you can flash the csc you want via Odin.
965u is different from 9650. Odin probably will fail.
通过我的 Mi Note 3 上的 Tapatalk发言
965u and 9650 have different bootloaders, as the first one is locked and the second one isn't.
I'm not sure if it will work, even considering both use SD845.
Little knowledge is dangerous
One is Snapdragon (U) and the other is Exynos (F/D).
To get T Mobile features on the exynos variant
1. Root
2. Load debloated Firmware which houses the T MObile tweaks
3. Load multi CSC file

Oh, I see. Maybe the original questions was never answered... My Bad.... I ahve been doing a lot of research on this topic and am possibly getting my threads confused. Sorry... So here is your answer...
No. You cant at this time.
I have been looking at every possible scenario I could think of to do this. I am going from VZW to T-Mo as of this past Sunday.
If you are on version 1 of the bootloader you "may" be able to. However, it would require flashing a International unlocked ROM. Changing the CSC with the field / test mode app then flash the T-Mo ROM. This DOES NOT work on V2 bootloaders. V2 Bootloaders are almost any device after the first software update. And to be honest with you I may even be confusing this process with the S8+
If you find anything post it here or send me a PM. I will do the same for sure!
Good luck to us with this!

Yes, Seems he may be confusing F/D for the 9650 which as far as I know there is no F/D variant of the 9650.
F= Exynos
D=Dual SIM
to those that do not know.
Thanks sir!
Is there any way to change CSC from TTT to ZTO without a SIM card of region and without root?
I just got this model of V30+ but didn't know TMobile LTE would not work on it until after I paid. Just didn't read it good enough I guess.
Just wondering if I will still be able to get 4G Data on the phone using TMobile(mintsim) or at least HSPA+ or if its possible to make LTE work on it.
If you flash that to H930G, you'll get s few more U.S. carrier LTE bands. Not all but more.

Yea I have 2 Sims. Just got the mintsim prepaid for a year witch uses T-Mobile that I was going to use with my essential but that had a fried board in it I think. Artifacting and crashing constantly. Now I just plan to use both Sims in the dual SIM phone for some extra monthly data since I already have both prepaid service Sims.
So if I were to attempt to flash the euro Rom on my hk v30 would it just be a normal flashing process? Require boot loader unlocking? Is there any detailed outline of the process posted up?
alright thanks the information I read through a good deal of the thread at least to where they claimed it was adding support for more us bands.
One other question. After flashing this will I then still be able to receive ota updates and will it be safe to install them?
It's. A brand new phone I just don't want to take any unnecessary risks. But also of course want to be able to get full service. Don't want to have to sell it off to get another one or anything.
Thanks again.
You do not have to worry about Root or Bootloader unlock when flashing the EU-Oreo, it should be safe. I have my doubts with 4G on T-Mobile's bands though, read this thread first: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/help/lg-v30-unlocked-h930ds-doesnt-t-mobile-t3734810
One should note though that all comments were made prior to the possibility of flashing the EU-Oreo. I cannot test it with a T-Mobile SIM anymore (last post in this thread is from me) but my AT&T SIM gives me more 4G bands than it used to.
Ok I'm still waiting to receive the phone to test it myself. Obviously going to check it out stock first. According to the frequency check site it supports 2/5 bands for T-Mobile and metropcs. But doesn't support the protocol supposedly. I guess I'll see. I have both at&-t and T-Mobile Sims to test.

The frequency check site has been wrong before. I am not talking specifically about this situation. I've not investigated the H930DS and T-mobile, but in another thread about another V30 it was like they didn't even know the LTE bands AT&T currently uses. Seemed outdated information like, 4 years out of date.
Ok i got the phone today and only getting edge connection.
The phone i received is the india version h930ds. Will this make any difference when flashing the eu oreo firmware?
Also for flashing i am assuming i just need to download the eu open market firmware put the phone into download mode and load lgup via uppercut?
One other question does it matter if my phone is fully updated or not with the current india firmware?
Thanks.
Going to take me several hours to download on my internet connection so just waiting on it to finish now and trying to get as much information as possible in the meantime.

No, it doesn't matter which DS variant you are flashing from.
No, you don't need current India firmware since you'll be switching to Europe KDZ.
See the Euro KDZ thread for instructions.
Im sorry i don't see any flashing instructions. Just an outline of different methods such as uppercut or using model specific files or development lgup. Dont mean to be a pain just want to verify im doing everything right before i try. I did something like this on my g6 as well and the procedure was.
Put the into download mode
Launch lgup using uppercut
Select the kdz to flash
Not sure on this whether to set it to upgrade or refurbish? I think refurbish just wipes all user data like a factory reset?
Thanks.

If they differ in hardware, don't even try.
They are the same.
In general, US versions have support for different radio bands than the international versions. If you upload the US firmware to the international version, you may lose not only gsm radio support, but also WiFi.
Try looking for a method to activate the US band in the current firmware. This is the only safe method.
Once again thank you for the your help! But as you might know they're saying this phone will be no good after Verizon shuts down it's 3G.I already switched from AT&T to Verizon earlier this year. I was told I can just do what I was asking but if you know of any way possible I can save my phone? I know it needs band 14 for AT&T. I already did the apn thing but it's not enough. They still read it as 3G. This phone has extreme sentimental value to me.
