Interested in launching your app in China? China is a huge market that should be explored.
This presents enormous opportunities for growth for companies that are willing to take the chance. Due to the lack of understanding of the China application market, you maybe encounter some obstacles when entering China, so here are some essential insights for you when planning to release in China:
1) The Market is Growing Rapidly
As we know, China has the most citizens connected to the internet, and the annual download growth rate exceeds 80% in China, which made China now the No.1 market for android apps. The mobile app market in China is potentially one of the most profitable markets in the world, with over 600 million mobile users already online. So a lot of overseas developers who want to enter China, and Huawei welcomes international developers to join Huawei AppGallery.
2) Aware of the differences in Chinese laws and regulations
If you want to release an Application in China, then you are going to operate a business in that country. This is the very first thing that you need to realize, therefore, prepare to comply with the app compliance laws in China. Because China's application market has become more tightly regulated in recent years, so some applications need to be certified by the government. Then if you don’t have entry or Chinese stuff, it’s better to cooperate with chinese partners.
3) Android dominates, but there’s no Google Play store in China
Different from western application market, Android is the most popular platform in China, and has the largest number of users of Android application systems. So if want conquer the China market, it’s wise choice to join the Android Market and follow the rules. However, by working with a good local partner, it’s possible to have a successful application still.
4) Familiarize yourself with the App stores in China
What you may not know is that there are some distribution markets in China, and the rules for different markets are different. For example, here are Huawei AppGallery,Tencent MyApp App Store, oppo App Store ,360 Mobile Assistant , etc. Huawei AppGallery has 400 M+ MAU, which rank No.1 in download volume of the Android market in China.
5) Translate Your App before releasing in China
A large portion of China’s population can’t speak English. Because of this, you probably need to localize your app into the Chinese language to have major success. If you want to attract more users to your app in China, you need to get a professional team to translate, because they know more about the consumption habits of Chinese users. If you need some help about the translation, we will give you some guidance.

Hi all,
I am planning to buy the HTC Hero in Hong Kong, but since I have never used an Android phone before. there are a few questions that I would like some answers:
(Assumption) If I buy an imported UK or EU Hero tomorrow:
1. Can it display Asian languages on websites ... etc? If by default it can't, is there anyway to get around it?
2. Is the Chinese input built-into the system as an option like the Iphone? If not, is there a way to install the input system into it.
3. Will there be any restriction on the Android market, similar to Iphone, due to different geographical locations?
4. Any other issues need to beware for purchasing an imported Android?
Many Thanks
1. Yes
2. No. but you can download an chinese input app instead.
3. No.
4. Check if it is a sim-free phone or has it been unlocked already.
sorry to say
been to hk 3 times in the last year and a half...
you won't get one cheaper....i know i have looked when trying to get the latest phones.....buy it from the u.k.....you have been warned
I am from Hong Kong, so I can't reach out for the bundle deals in UK.
Since I can't wait for the local release, I am planning to buy the unlocked version thru UK websites. Therefore I need to make sure the imported ones can fulfil my basic mobile phone needs (Chinese support ... etc).
Yes, there are much less bundle deals in HK, but the tariffs are very cheap here, so there are much less subsidies to the handset price.
Hello everyone, first I want to say that this is not a piracy post, I paid for all my apps in Japanese. I'm a huge fan of Japanese Pachinko and Pachislot, in the past I used to trick google store to buy my stuff from there but of course now it doesn't work anymore so I was wondering if there's a work around as stupid as it can be (for example going to Japan, buying a Japanese Play Store card, saying that you are in Japan, connecting in Japan and buy the apps) I'm 100% sure that once bought the apps is available for ALL your devices connected to your account (tested with paid and free apps), I have a friend who live in Japan and that can be "manageable" lol but a pain in the ass also.
Does someone as an easier solution ? I contacted the company and they said that they are not going to put it on the market OUTSIDE Japan, never... So I'm a bit doomed with the new apps (the other solution is to buy an retina Ipad, creating a Japanese account and Japanese gift card *that's what I did sadly to have the apps*) Anything is welcome here...
Thanks in advance, my current "phone" is a galaxy note 8 and I also have a galaxy note 10.1 (both rooted)
Dear Members,
Good day. I am Mr. Chin Qi Yong from LPC Lab Malaysia. We are Basic Education System Provider. We are Cambridge Authorised Preparation Center in Malaysia. For more information you can visit our Facebook: LPC Lab
Basically our product is developed using Adobe Flash (.FLA) export into Flash (.SWF) to play in Window. Currently we would like to play our content in Android platform. We already contacted few companies in Malaysia but they probably can't really advise the best solution.
I hope to have some advice from expert here.
Thank you.

Does anyone know why you can't create a Huawei ID if you are in Canada? There is no region available for Canada or the US.
It's not available for us man. That's what sucks about using Huawei. They want us to use their phones, but we can't have those services. Figure that one out.
I have a question is possibile turn on 5g on my country i bought these phone from Germany in review i hear these phone not support 5g in my country.
Nope, as far as I can tell, there is no such possibility to enable 5G here.
Unfortunately google locked 5G only to certain countries (those few where phone is sold plus few others mainly from western europe). You can see the list here:
Pixel Phone Simulator
support.google.com
For older pixels there was way to unlock 5G with root but for pixel 6 this is not possible for now. Whole logic here is totally beyond me. If you will lock the phone then lock it only to the operator who sells it and it is done. If you will allow it to be used worldwide what is the point leave 4G unlocked and lock only the 5G? This is especially true when we speak about EU - you allow it in some countries and not in other which defies the whole purpose of EU being free trade and free movement of people. I sent feedback to google about this. You can do the same. Maybe if enough people complain they will remove this stupid lock.
My guess is Google has received radio approvals in only some countries and per local regulatory processes they cannot legally activate 5G in countries where they do not have approvals.
