Help with G925F stock rom bootloop - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys! s6 edge user here
As it said in the title, i need help in my s6 edge g925f rom.
My phones current firmware has current version of G925FOLB6DRD1 with android 6.0.1 which is locked on one network in my country.
I tried updating my phone's firmware with version G925FOXA6ERF5 with android 7 which is from another country but i got stucked in a bootloop so i reverted to the old one using ODIN but when i returned to the old version i was still stuck on bootloop until i was able to factory reset it in recovery mode and now is working properly again.
I was wondering that if i were to factory reset using recovery mode on the updated firmware would it also work like it did on the old firmware?
thanks for the help

s6 Edge 925i root and update query

Hello guys,
I've gotten my new s6 edge 64 gig sapphire black just today .
I noticed 5.1.1 updates are rolling over to AT T s6 .
So I would like to know if it's advisable to root my device on 5.0.2 or wait for 5.1.1?
How easy would it be to update to 5..1.1 assuming I rooted my 5.0.2 now.
I'm currently running E3 .
And how easy is it to root/unroot as I am unaware about knox security .
Please enlighten me .
Thank you.

just flash your firmware again
If you chose to root now you cannot update thro your device anymore, but simply, just download the proper firmware version for your device, then flash it thro odin (it wont trip knox), or alternatively you can update thro smart switch (the new version of Samsung Kies) when it reaches your country.

Help restoring stock firmware!

I rooted my S6 Edge on version 5.1.1 and I want to unroot. All methods I've seen I have to download the stock firmware and use the root precess to install that instead but I doesn't work, I managed to soft brick my phone and the only way to get it back on is by reinstalling the root kernel. Does anyone know how I can full unroot?
Model Number: SM-G925F
And I use EE mobile service

How to downgrade from Android 6.0.1 to 5.1.1

Hello
I flashed the latest firmware available for my S6 edge (SM-G925F) : G925FXXU3DPDP (XEF).
I've never used Android 5.1.1 on my phone and I asks to you if downgrade is possible at this point (latest BL I think) and if yes, how ?
Thanks you for your further replies
Bye.
I Think Once u Flashed The latest Firmware U can't Go back
Because Of bootloader
Bt U can try Download Android LP And boot loader And put Ur phone in Download Mode Flash with odin
i updated on 6.02...
didn´t like it...
flashed back to 5.1.1 stock without problems (odin)
Hello poci,
You were running with which firmware ?
It's easy to go back to lollipop?
I'm reading some comments off people wich say No, ando some less who say Yes.
i made an OTA update from 5.1.1 to 6.0.2... but i didn´t like the battery drain on 6.0.2......(or 6.0.1 i don´t know anymore)
after clean install of 6.0.2....there was no change at all...
then i went back to 5.1.1 by flashing a stock 5.1.1. firmware with odin...no trouble or anything else...
If flash fails, is my device will be hardbricked ???
if you have the right firmware...i would say "no"
so why should it fail?
i used this firmware for my o2 edge
G925FXXU3QOLD_G925FTEF3QOL1_G925FXXU3QOJB_HOME.tar
Beceause newest bootloaders blocks downgrade, you was in which firmware on Marshmallow ?
don´t know exactly...60.1 then
when 6.0.2 blocks downgrade...

5.1.1 Downgrade fails!

Hi ! I'm very bored from Marshmallow and I want to go back to Lollipop (5.1.1)because I hate Doze and the New UI.
But when I download the latest 5.1.1 for my edge (G925F - Germany O2), Odin shows a fail message! I wiped my cache and I made a factory reset.. I even can't flash TWRP anymore.. Odin says it's flashed but it's still the Stock Recovery. Marshmallow is so complicated.. :/ How can I go back to 5.1.1 ? And sorry for my bad English... mother Language German
Android Version : 6.0.1
Modell : S6 edge G925F
Basebandversion : G925FXXU4DPG7
P.S I think there's a new bootloader what do you think??

Nope. No way around it. There is a custom rom xtrestolite which is based on 5.1.1 but still not fully downgrade.

How to install other region firmware on Galaxy Tab E SM-T560 - US 7.1.1 on EU 4.4.4

Hi,
I have a Norwegian Tab E 9.6 (SM-T560) with Kitkat 4.4.4.
The US/Canadian version SM-T560NU has got official upgrade to Nougat 7.1.1.
I have downloaded the XAC Canada version and I am trying to install it using Odin, without success.
I load the firmware file using the PDA file tab, but the installation will not go through. Connection ok, but odin stops either and NAND Write or earlier.
From what I understand it should be perfectly possible to install an official stock firmware from another region (I did so once on my asian Samsung S7 Edge), but not working here.
What could be the reason for this not working? Do I need to change CSC or something? If so how without rooting and without using the dialer code trick (as there is no dialer on a WIFI only unit).
Or some special settings in Odin? I only have the default settings marked.
I have tried many versions of Odin, from the latest to the earliest.
Please help or point me in the right direction.
