Re;
I just discovered that my 2 hand phone has been blacklisted after I bought it. But the blacklist doesn't apply for the whole country...That's ridiculous...
Hi. Just a quick question. But first, there is the backstory.
I am from Malaysia. CSC XME. I bought my S9+ by pre-order from online retailer, and 2 of my friends bought theirs from samsung store.
Today I realize my phone is missing a few options in the settings app. Two that I notice didn't exists on my phone but do on my friend's phone.
1. No option to skip OK button when entering pin. (this settings is available during pin setup)
2. No Separate Sound settings.
Its weird because both are unlock and not a carrier specific model.
If i download a firmware from samfirm, would it fix these issues?
Or any of you guys found a solution for this? Please assist.
Thanks.
Hello,
I would like to start by saying that for several years now I have been using only Samsung Note line. I am thinking on switching to a new Huawei phone, and i was wondering if Huawei is using a similar CSC system as Samsung does.
For example, on Samsung, each country/operator has a different CSC, and each CSC enables or disables some embedded features. THL (Thailand CSC) has stock Call Recorder enabled, alongside with VoLTE and VoWiFi.
Recently it was discovered that if your phone has a more restrictive CSC (part of the big OXM CSC group)and if you do a factory reset with a Thailand SIM inside, after reset you have those extra features enabled.
Is there a similar way with Huawei?
Thanks for the support!
I am asking because i noticed that some Huawei phones have the embedded recorder activated on indian phones, while in Europe ... this is deactivated.
The same is similar for Samsung, but resetting the phone with a Thailand SIM does the trick and enables the native recorder (which by the way works flawlessly in Android 9 Pie as well!
Hi guys,
I have a flip 5g but I do not see any esim option in settings.

Hi.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ running two sim-cards. One SIM is my private number, and the other is my work number.
Is it possible to auto turn off the work SIM during non-work hours?
The phone is not rooted.
I tried this guide but didnt get it to work.
Hi, I have a z fold 3 and the same questions.
It's a pity that it's not part of the sim settings by default.
See here. No solution but similar topic.
I have used autoinput, along with tasker, to do thus buy its not ideal due to the screen needing to be on.
Enable / disable SIM card on schedule
I am not very familiar with the Tasker. I guess that with its help you can solve my problem: Enable / disable a SIM card on a schedule. Introductory: OnePlus3, android 7, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM899. Can someone please help? ))
