Hello all,
Until this new fancy app there was a button that allows us to edit sleep.
Few days ago 6.5hours of sleep extra, I woke up at 10:11 and it shows that I've slept until 16:44.
Today, I slept until 10:00 and it shows sleep until 8:30 even if the heart rate shows VERY CLEARLY that i've slept until 10:00.
Is there any way to manually edit these?
Thanks!
Andrei.
you can't edit the sleep data. The watch / app / Amazfit Team think we all sleep in night only. Some people work in night is not possible or unusual.

Dont worry, my problem is that it's not working even with night sleep. It registers correctly the time when I fell asleep, but wake up is totally messy.
Someone should bring these thiefs in court because they are mocking users. You cannot make such an update to kill everything and maybe force you to buy newer things.

Hello,
I've been using VEGAn 5.1.1 w/ Pershoot's kernel 26.32.32 for about a week now and today the WiFi started to not come back from sleep.
I've seen on other threads to set WiFi to never sleep. How do you do this? When I go to "Settings->Wireless & Networks->Wi-Fi Settings" there is no option to never sleep. Is this somewhere else or is there some other way/application needed to access the setting?
Also, does this (WiFi/sleep) work any better with Clemsyn's kernel?
Thanks,
Joe
When you go to the Wifi Settings screen, press menu. Then "Advanced". There you can adjust your Wi-Fi sleep policy.
Unfortunately, in my experience, setting it to never sleep doesn't really seem to make a difference. The tab will always go into a deep sleep, and the Wifi will go to sleep along with it. Someone suggested Load Monitor as a way to keep the Tab from going into that deep sleep, and so far that's worked for me. I just went out for about 3 hours, came home, woke the tab, and the Wifi was still active. At 10:32 I got an alert that new stories were added to Pulse, and my Tab had been inactive for about 2 hours at that point.
Update: Woke up this morning without touching the Tab, stumbled to my computer and sent a Chrome to Phone link. About a minute or so later, my Tab made the notification sound (it's usually immediate, but not always with CtP). So it would appear the Wifi stayed awake using Load Monitor. This was with the Tab plugged in, gonna try it unplugged tonight.

Ah, there it is, thank you debh945!
It's strange; I had to reboot 4 or 5 times yesterday do the WiFi going out during sleep. Even just the screen going off for a minute did it once so I don't think it was deep sleep.
This morning it woke right up fine. But it had been plugged in charging over night. I guess if it was easy it would be fixed.
Thanks again,
Joe

1) do you know any management platform for android that I can install on my PC and control what members of the family who have tablets do in terms of installing apps, etc
2) Is there any way to control hours of usage on the tablet - with or without mgmt software?
Thanks
i am interested in something like this also. I go to sleep very late every night playing with my tablet (watching movies, games, reading, etc) and i am trying to force myself to turn it off at 12:00 in the night and go to sleep, but i keep getting distracted and using it until 2 am.....

don't know of any android software but what you can do is enter your router's config settings and temporary disable your internet connection between the hrs you want. i.e from 12:00 midnight to 7:00Am every day.
now this will obviously only work for wifi versions that require your home network to connect.
I wonder if this could be done with something like Tasker?

Hi!
There is a very good app in google play to track sleep, it is called Sleep as Android.
It uses accelerometers to try to estimate how deep is your sleep.
However, since ICS was released, this app cannot get accelerometers data if the phone is in stand by and screen is off.
So, the screen stays on all the time, but with a 100% black image.
My question is: can it harm the RAZR screen?
Thanks,
Ronan
I don't know, i have the same problem
I hope you will soon find
did anything ever come of this? I just downloaded it last night and noticed this.
Hi everyone! How Amazfit PACE detect that I'm sleeping?
I have passed 3 nights and the gadget did not tracked my sleep. The message: " No sleep detect".
English firmware v 1.3.3a
Anybody may help me?
Thank you in advance.
Can confirm this. It's not detecting 'afternoon nap', or when I sleep for 6 hours at night, it detects 4 hours or something. Very, very lousy sleep detection.
I've had Alcatel Watch Go before this, it detected sleep to a minute.

it's like mi band , it only "detect" sleep during a period of night
so if you go to sleep at , for example , 6 , probably it will not measure it as sleep , but i had never problem with the second problem (even with mi band / 2)
It's not helping but detects my sleep perfectly.

What is this period? So I could adjust myself, if cannot do that to a watch.

I detected a big issue in Amazfit PACE (English v 1.3.3a). It can not detect sleeping at all 24 hours off the day.
I explain: I work at night and I go to bed at 07:00AM, sleeping until 03:00PM. I did a test: I changed AM to PM in the connected smartphone and ..."voila".. Amazfit PACE mesured my sleeping.
I concluded that there are a no mesured time window.
Anybody can report this issue to XDA for correct it in the PACEfied ROM?
I consider change the English ROM version (1.3.3a) to PACEfied ROM.

Agree about night shifts should be supported, but it is known that Huami doesnt support "sleep over a day".

don't know and of course you can't change it i guess if you try to sleep after 6-7am it doesn't measure the sleep

1)So you said that the watch actually detect sleep (after the change) so what is the "It can not detect sleeping at all 24 hours off the day."?
2)The problem here is the 7am , it's morning , this is why it didn't measure anything , so how did you actually "concluded that there are a no mesured time window. " ??
Let's hope that the dev of notify &fitness adds support for pace (it has for arc and bip, and he said that he is trying to add pace).
Thanks. Guess I'll have to live healthier[emoji6]
I turned on Heart Rate measurement to always on, I'll see if it has any impact.
But... This is just sad, very sad.

i don't think that it matters
i guess it's just software "error" (not an error actually)
it has the data but the software says "do not translate them as sleep"
with mi fit app you had the option to edit the sleep zone , the problem is that the amazfit app is too "basic"
we must wait at least for an integration (amazfit watch - mi fit)
I've had three functions on my Alcatel Watch Go, that I'm sorely missing now:
1.Vibrating when bluetooth disconects as "Don't forget your phone" (it saved me from loosing phone twice)
2. Ability to remote control media player on phone (since I don't have bt earbuds still)
3.Stonger vibration for alarm and precise sleep measurement.
But the pros outweight the cons on Amazfit, still.

PLease, focus: "Amazfit PACE - not tracking my sleep ( " No sleep detect")"
Thank you in advance.

1 & 2 ) I think there must exist a time slot of sleep measurement,
What would this interval be? Would it be possible to include a function that allows the user to choose this interval?
Thanks. Regards.

In PACEfield ROM:
1) Would it be possible to include a function that allows the user to choose the sleep interval that works for him?
2) Or allow the measurement to occur full time?
Thanks. Regards.

I will appreciate any help, because nobody could help us. I think it's because most of them sleep during standard hours.
Best regards.
AMAZFIT watch no 24 hours sleep monitoring it only monitor sleep timing from 12-7AM
Hi, is there a solution or patch about this issue? so that sleep mode be monitored 24 hours not just for a specific period of time from 12AM to 7AM.
Same for me .... 1.3.6d not getting when I sleep out of the expected hour .... I hope that it's correcting in the next version ... even if we configure the manual time when we fell to sleep in a different time.
Yes, I hope also, If It´s not possible to detect a nap or the correct sleep time at least make it configurable.
What settings does it require to operate? Does it need the continuous heart rate ?
Why goes my pocophone not going in deep sleep. I'm using the last update 10.2.20 Stable. I use battery saver, use adaptive battery is on, non interactive-mode is on. Anyone who can help me? ,

Your phone is always awake whereas mine isn't (see screenshot, awake is "éveillé"). Maybe you need to disable mobile network like me ?

Yes, but before the Pie update, my pocophone was going in deep sleep and uses 2% standby at night, now 10%

That's why I thinks it's a bug. May be usefull to make a bug report.
I have the same increased stand-by battery usage (1-2% per hour). After monitoring battery usage with a Gsam Battery Monitor app, I noticed that 'sms_snd wakeup' activity was active for several hours.
After googling, I found out that sms_snd is a proximity sensor's process.
Try to disable 'Pocket mode' in Settings -> Lock screen & password -> Advanced section.
I am testing it at the moment, will share my results after a day of usage.
Please try and share yours.

You can as well switch off the phone.
You have a severe mobile signal issue. The place where the phone was (while sleeping) has a very bad mobile signal. So for you it might be a solution to switch off the network. If you can't do that (as most of us can't afford to do that), another option is to switch to 3G or 2G where the signal might be better.

Actually I don't think it will disable this process. A lot of users are reporting that there proximity sensor is always on (small IR led in proximity always on). This activity could be the source :/

Yes I could switch it off at this point xD. But it's faster to wake up when it's on airplane mode. Anyway I don't personally need network when I'm sleeping.
I have not noticed any progress with Pocket mode turned off. Also double tap and change orientation wake up switchers are turned off. 10.2.2.0 is in use.
Still awaking, still battery draining...
Are there any news to resolve the problem?

It is already turned off.
Same issue with mine...
Googled a lot but no progress .. nothing works..
If anyone find solution.. please do inform me..
I did not have any issue when moving to MIUI 10 (androi Pie) myself on my pocophone, but I recently installed a nokia 5.1 plus for a friend.
New, out of the box, new install, immediate upgrade to android 9 (it's an android one phone), no additional apps installed.
It barely survived more than 10-12h, phone never went to sleep.
I found this was a quite common problem when upgrading to android pie, and most users suggest to clear system cache from recovery menu.
However, that is not possible anymore as in most cases android pie doesn't show you that option anymore.
I solved the issue by doing a factory reset from within the OS, then did not configure it when it started up. Instead, I turned it off again, booted to recovery menu and again wiped all data. After that, the phone was configured and the battery was fine. From 10-12h it now holds for 40+ hours.
For reference: that phone lost 30-40% during nighttime!
I'm having issues with my battery too, does anyone know how to fix this?

There can be hundreds of reasons. If you are merely going to ask a question without furnishing any details, this is the best I can do.
