Hello,
I'm currently running AOKP on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I have a problem thats been bugging me for a while...
I've recently noticed that when my Official Stock firmware was on the phone the camera had no lag and no crashing issues and now that any custom rom I used on the phone I now get a very slow camera, the shutter lag is terrible and the camera frequently crashes when I try to record a video.
Any help please :crying:
Hi, I've run into this same weird bug on two Nexus 9s that I've used, one on (stock) Android 6.0.1 and the other on the N Preview: when I switch to another app after playing a Netflix video, the display suddenly gets incredibly glitchy and the device becomes unusably unresponsive. The only fix is to hold down the power button until the tablet reboots. This doesn't happen every time I use Netflix, but frequently.
Having seen this on two Nexus 9s (neither is rooted) running two different (stock) Android versions -- and having never encountered this before on any other device -- I was sure I'd find lots of talk about the bug online. Weirdly, I don't see any. Is anyone else seeing this? If it's just me, I imagine the bug must have to to with a nasty interaction between Netflix and some other app I'm running? (GMD? Pie Control? Glovebox?)
Thanks for any help!
Alan

I am also facing same issue in Nitrogen OS 8.1. Even YouTube videos in Chrome work same with that glitchy pixels. Did you find any solution?
Nope.. this bug alone is stopping me from using Oreo..I have same problem in all Oreo roms..?

Unlucky us! Weird that there is nothing on YouTube too. Even the videos which are downloaded offline from YouTube app glitch. Clearing cache, data, changing settings in Developer Options like Force GPU rendering, Force 4x MSAA, etc nothing works! ? Planning to go back to MIUI and then again flash rom maybe that will solve the problem. Also no problem with YouTube on MIUI .
Sigh!! True that..
That's strange. I don't have this kind of issues.
You can try newpipe, a youtube alternative from f-droid
Me too had the same issue .. even if I try altn app I can face the same bug. So I went back emiui
Hi,
Yesterday I bought an redmi 6a. It is out of box miui 10. And just after 5 mins got an update of 1.2 gb. After updating while swiping on the homepage of YouTube it is so laggy.. not that much smooth. And while searching videos it lagging so much but the videos are playing smoothly.
I discovered that only YouTube app is lagging.
Except it all the phone running smooth and we'll.
Is this an software problem what do you think??
And is there a way to fix this temporary?
I'm using YouTube Vanced. It fixed the YouTube lagging issue for me
has anyone found a way to fix it ,also do u know what causes it
is 6a actually weaker than 5a and 4a coz no such thing happens on them
or is it hopefully just a software issue
also , does it also lag in GSI roms?
Actually the YouTube app is not optimized well for the redmi 6a. I use a modded YouTube app named "YouTube Vanced" it doesn't lag at all. And for the pubg mobile... Clear everything before launching the app and play on the lowest setting possible. You'll barely see any lag after that. Hope it helps
