ASUS ME302KL - Unable to unlock bootloader - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I download the unlock apk file from asus support page, but it is not working. Is there any other method to install TWRP on the Asus Memo Pad FHD 10 ??
Appreciate your suggestions.
I want to upgrade the tablet from it's very old firmware 4.2.2
Thanks.

Unlock bootloader
Hi.
I'm struggling with the same issue since a while and i had to give up.
The official Asus unlock app is not working anymore and I can't find any alternative to unlock the bootloader of this old device.
Time to buy a newer one.

Hi,I found the same issue in my Asus.
Do anyone know if there is any possibility to upload The bootloader from Any Unlocked unit, And use it with another one.

[Q] Unlockable Bootloader?

I have rooted my SGP321 (Tablet Z 16GB LTE) but when I check and enter the code to see if I can unlock my bootloader I get a NO returned
Does this mean there is no way around unlocking it?
There must be a way out there to unlock it but thus far Google and the internet has failed me.
Sorry for the questions. (I wish it was as easy as installing ROM's on my HTC One)
Much apreciated if anyone out there can help me out

[Q] Root for newest firmware (w/o unlocking the bootloader)

Hi everybody,
I have the wifi version of the Xperia Tablet Z (SGP312) with firmware 10.4.B.0.577.
The tablet is rooted but the bootloader is not unlocked so there is no recovery installed either.
My issue is: I would love to update my tablet to the latest firmware (is it 10.4.1.B.0.101?) and keeping root but I can't find a way of how to do this w/o unlocking the bootloader (which I'd prefer not to do).
I'd be so gracious if someone could help me with this. I have to admit that I can't even quite remember the way how I got my root for this firmware. I just remember it was a hard way to finally get there.

Can I install CyanogenMod?

Just recently purchased the Xperia Z2 Tablet and I'm very disappointed to find that I can't unlock my bootloader. I read a post on here that mentioned it was still possible to install CM on a locked bootloader. Could anyone explain to me how I could do this or link me to a thread that will help? Here's my device info:
Model SPG561
Android v4.4.4
Build 23.0.1E.0.208
Currently unrooted.
I actually got this today after returning a tablet just because I couldn't install CM or unlock the bootloader. I'm very close to just returning this and getting a different one. If I'm **** out of luck with the Z2, could anyone recommend a Verizon LTE tablet, with good specs, that will allow me to unlock the bootloader? I'm getting desperate.
Thanks for any help.

I can't see how you could flash CM on a locked boot loader as it requires a custom kernel.
I don't know anything about the Samsung tablets on vzw but I suspect they are locked down. The LG tablet can be "unlocked" with bump but its a piece of garbage. If the Nexus 9 is available for vzw its probably your only chance at getting an unlocked boot loader. Some of kindle fire tablets can be unlocked as well but they need to be on older firmware AFAIK
Unlocl boot loader
Yes you can unlock bootloader by going the sony site and follow the instructions. I ask you for the emei number ad other things. but follow the instructions carefully.
2nd option. Use Sony mobile flasher by androxyde it works perfectly well on mine. But if youneed to update or upgrade through Sony Compagnon, you will need to relock bootloader, install update and the (re) unlock bootloader. It works for me...

IOT_H850 does not support bootloader unlock

Hi, i just recieved my H850 which i bought online, when i tried to boot-unlock this one, the site responded "your device IOT_H850 does not support bootloader unlock, please check your model" so i emailed lg-dev support. They told me that it was a sample unit and does not support bootloader unlock. My question from this helpful community is that am i doomed in this matter(unlocking bootloader/ rooting/ rom updates) or is there any hope. I cant get a replacement on my device so thats out of options.
unfortunate there is no way to unlock
the only way to root is to wait for an exploit or to get a replacement unit
but if you can not do that, you are out of luck
That is what i am gonna do, Wait.
Facing same issue how much we have to wait?
IOT_H850 is a sample model. Allows updating via OTA or through LG Bridge???
Thank you.
Hello,
I've same problem, not yet any possibility actually?
Same problem here also. help please

Dragon Touch X10 Tablet - Unlocking Bootloader?

My dragon touch x10 tablet express tablet with Android 5.1 has a locked bootloader.
Any clues how to unlock it?
Some of the generic instructions from around the web really don't help.
Thanks
Honestly, surely it isn't impossible to unlock the bootloader on this device. The instructions on the web are very brand specific.
On android 5.1 for this device, the bootloader is locked.
Someone must know?
