Rooting Honor 7 Lite in 2020 + Bootloader - Honor 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I've been searching the whole internet yet I couldn't find any working way to root honor 7 lite NEM-L21
EMUI 5.0
Android 7
I want to do it using a Magisk
Additionally I couldn't find any way to unlock the bootloader code for my honor 7 lite
Could someone please provide the detailed step by step instruction on how to do this without breaking the phone down?
Please I beg you I badly need to root my phone without any trouble with Magisk.
Does anybody have the working TWRP file that will not break the phone and the correct version of Magicdisk and could provide the detailed way on how to do it?
It's very important for me yet for years I can't find the very detailed description and root the phone without breaking it.
I beg for you help the crucial thing is to get my bootloader code but it doesn't seem to be possible anymore? :|
I've heard many different version on which TWRP works for that device and I've heard that it's the same device that is called Huawei Honor 5C for whatever reason?
For years I manage to figure out that one of those TWRPs works but I couldn't exactly figure out which one of these won't brick the device:
1. twrp-3.0.2-0-nemo-modaco-rc1.img (This one wasn't tested by me which presumably worked)
2. twrp-3.1.1-0-venus.img (This one was said not to work for other person?)
Now Im so totaly confused because I can't find the file that is presumably working nowhere on the internet anymore the second I can't even get the bootloader code for free anywhere other than some fake oferts that will hack your bank card info and clear it out of the cash and the third I only presume that "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550" version would work with that.
Can anybody help me and is 100% sure of the links and files in 2020 that won't ruin my phone?
Does anybody have any idea how to get the bootloader code WITHOUT using your credit card info for FREE?
So far I've been through hundreds of threads hundreds of posts and endless hours reading and studying it. Yet I couldn't find the working method that people would not have the problems with and I dont want to destroy my phone because it's the only one I have and I dont have the money to afford another one and I think that's the only and last place where I can ask for help.

Transfer EVERYTHING from one phone to another

Hello there, I have two Huawei Mate 2 (MT2-L03) and one of them is in a bootloop (I was trying to update to lollipop but forgot to unlock bootloader), the other one has Lollipop update and is working (but it has the screen all cracked, in some parts you can't read and speakers don't work). I tried searching in this forum on how to take it out of the bootloop and I didn't find any answers, now I can't get the bootloader unlock code from Huawei because they are asking for the phone ID and I can't access it with the phone like that.
My question is, is there a way to copy all storage from one phone to another or swap it? Because I thought that in that way I could fix the phone (the one in Bootloop). Remember they are both from the same model.

EZ Questions

Hi friends,
Hopefully this will be newbie appropriate questions that are easy to answer:
1. I just bought a used ATT Lg G5 H820 (Titan I think) where the seller gave me an unlock code - I've never bought a used phone before, but it's for my son, and I don't know how to execute unlocking and what not, but I figure Google is my friend there.
2. I want to downgrade android from 7 N to 6 Marshmellow - I've been reading that there are a couple of Flash tools that can do that if I have the image - I've searched high and low and moved heaven and earth to find one that I think is bona fide without making me go through a sea of click ad traps, to no avail - my assumption is all I need are the tools and just the stock image.
So here are my questions:
A. Can anyone share a link to the image that I seek where downloading it doesn't require a ninja to do the download?
B. Do I have to use an ATT image? can I use a Tmobile H830? bad idea?
C. If I flash it down to Marshmellow with either of the images as mentioned in (B) are there negative ramifications to unlocking the phone?
Thank you in advance - I sincerely appreciate any and all advice on the matter.

1. To unlock the phone from a stock rom power off the phone and insert a sim card for another network and power it up. Phone will ask for the unlock code when it finishes booting. Since it's an ATT variant use a t mobile sim card. I'd make sure you can unlock it before you do anything else.
2. Why do you want to downgrade to marshmallow? Doesn't seem like its worth the effort. Besides you are going to have to then turn off updates or your going to get updated to nougat. If you decide to downgrade you have to downgrade to an ATT image. Using a T mobile image will most likely brick your phone. Not sure if it will be a soft or hard brick but it's not worth it.

Good idea on #1 - I wondered about that, but wasn't sure if that mattered - I did do a complete reset as soon as I got the phone, and haven't unlocked still, so I'm hoping that I didn't ruin the 'unlockability' by resetting it.
Anyway on your #2, I did a phone upgrade recently from G5 to G6, and was on Marshmellow with the G5 - there were aspects that I'm familiar with that Android version, so I want to try to downgrade - I've never experimented with the phones that I pay service on because I've always been afraid of bricking it bad, so I figure that with my sons used phone, I can tinker a bit without losing too much sleep if I mess things up.
Thank you for that great response - I sincerely appreciate it!

Hi there,
Might I ask if you have any ideas on how I can proceed to downgrade to Marshmellow? - I want to try rooting Marshmellow if I can.
This is a bit off topic, but when I was exploring this site, I found this subdomain https://depot.xda-developers.com - and I'm very interested in purchasing one of those lifetime VPN services, but wanted to get more info from the community about the VPN options, as there seemed to be many pretty low cost VPN products to choose from.
And off the top of your head, do you know of a Simcard that I can purchase with no contracts where the minutes do not expire at the end of the month, that you personally like? - it seems like there are so many GSM options for this unlocked used phone. tia

I managed to get my new phone, Honor 8, bricked. How can I fix this?

I'll keep this short, as I don't want to waste anyone's time. 2 days ago I installed an OTA update on my Honor 8 while I had TWRP installed. I didn't know it was a red no-no when I did that and I now regret it.
I've looked for help on reddit but that got me nowhere as there are not that many Android support subreddits and the existing ones are not that active. I know that I have to flash my phone with the right firmware, but I can't seem to find the right one, as there are many different versions, such as OTA updates, FullOTA, as well as the region code. Then there's the issue of flashing. Every kind of unbricking video I've watched, flashes the firmware of their device using an SD card. I don't have a microSD card reader, so I don't even know how I'll get the firmware on it. I'd prefer to use something like adb platform tools to flash the firmware, but if it isn't possible that way, I guess I'll buy an SD card and use someone else's setup to move the firmware.
My phone's model number is FRD-L09, it was running Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0. I don't know the region code, but I bought the device from an UK supplier, but on the back of the phone's box, it says Huawei Technologies (Netherlands).
Any kind of help would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

Need PC
What @VovaHouse said... I know of no way without a PC.
If you have the global model (e.g. carrier indifferent) the phone still needs to connect to the Google Spyware server once before the OEM switch is ungreyed out. There is another thread where it is claimed this can be bypassed, but it was never worth it for me to do.
If you have a carrier model, you need to get it unlocked, which, like the rooting, requires a PC AFAIK. Maybe buy a cheap used one or something? Once you are freed, it is no longer required.

Hi all

Found this guide on how to flash lineage to your device.
thank you so much for taking the time. Seems that I CANNOT root this phone for 180 days as it's locked for that period of time. OEM unlocking is greyed out. Thanks again and I'll store your great answer away for later use.
