Wow, this is awesome, after longtime we have some development work back on track.

My android box is Tanix tx92 which is also clone of Vorke z6 plus and Vontar Tx92, its LPRAM version so will this ROM work?

Playback issue
Hi, it’s nice to see you here at xda. I hope we don’t need to use google translator anymore ?
I am a happy user of slimhouse FW for a few months now. Lately I am suffering playback problems, no matter which player I use: Kodi internal, VLC Player, MxPro... all of them are freezing when I open an mp4, mkv,...
At first I thought it was related with the players, so I uninstalled and installed all of them, and the problem is still there... after checking some forums, I found some references pointing to an amlogic problem of some ROMs. I am not sure if you could suggest any solution.
I am currently running: slimbox-x3-asop-ver5.1 and the kernel version is 4.9.113
Is there any guide I can follow to upgrade to an updated version? I tried to find something on the 4pda forum where I got this fw, but it seems like you’ve move here.
The hw I am using is X96 Air P3 (v1)
Thanks in advance for your help!

Thank you for this ROM and for this thread. I managed to install it 2 weeks ago, thanks to google translator, but this thread is a must for support.
I have a x96 Air P4 4/32, and this ROM made the experience of using it much more pleasant, as well as user-friendly. Using AOSP version with a 3rd-party launcher.
The first problem I faced up until now was that some app menus had the same font color as the background, but that was 'solved' by disabling System bars' Autohide function. (Slimbox settings>System bars>untick Autohide.)
Also was having some issues with the clipboard pop-up, but installed g-board and it now shows everywhere.
Still can't run TVZion or Popcorn Time, but have no idea why.

Hi.
Beelink GT1 Ultimate (Amlogic S912).
It's compatible?
Thank you.

Good morning, I'm crazy looking for how to install this rom since yesterday. I am trying to record it with "Burn card maker 2.0.2" but I did not create the file "aml_sdc_burn.ini" and that I think is the problem. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

Malasky, thanks for your excellent fw, I'm from Brazil and I'm using the same in my KIII pro, however I'm having character problems and accentuation in the search of channels and EPG, searching verified that I need ISO-8859-1, it's like you Put this on your fw?
Another problem is that in DVB C I can not signal in the frequency 111000 Symbol Rates 5217, how to check the calibration of the tuner?
In other receivers, with no signal problem at this frequency.
Is it possible to implement placement of new frequency lists in the cable, as already done in DBB-S?
Also can not subtitles can verify?

Patch (Roboto.ttf edited) to see the EPG as it looks, with the slight change that in SAT mode some accents appear and the letter ñ y Ñ.
Faults in uppercase letters Á and Í (does not come any character in its place?) I do not know the connection HEX-DEC, and some fault I do not know (apart from those that come directly from the EPG).
a) Android Application:
FonterPro.apk
1.- install apk.
b) Ttf fonts
1.- copy to "/sdcard/fonter/fonts/"
2.- Install a font type, in the apk;
My sources- CUSTOM choose one and CHANGE SYSTEM SOURCE- select Roboto and ACCEPT (the tv-box will restart automatically)
Roboto-BoldCondensed_esp.ttf
Roboto-Condensed_esp.ttf
Roboto-Regular_esp.ttf
Sir, I hope you could make a nougat based costum rom, as Acemax latest release firmware based on nougat.
Thank you for your hard work sir,
Sincerely yours
Esta custom es la que más me gusta con diferencia, si pudieras optimizar la 7.1.1 sería maravilloso.
Con mi agradecimiento gracias por tu trabajo en beneficio de todos. Saludos
Thank you very much, you are going to put the version android 7.1?

This is a translation of san google.
If I installed 7.1.1 and it is very good.
But I'll stick with that of Malaysk, for me it's more complete, I hope and wish you can customize the 7.1.1
Time is the most valuable thing we have, thanks Malaysk for sharing it with all of us.
Greetings.

I'm sorry - translating Google translator.
What's added, changed and deleted:
Removed the Chinese keyboard and some programs.
Added programs: ES File Explorer , Root Explorer
Another launcher, completely modified by me, is grounded for our apparatus.
You can install your own wallpaper and live wallpaper
A separate choice of launching the firmware is NEW Launcher or DVB-S2 / T2 / C. When you first start, you will be asked what to run by default. Change the launch: Click the Apps button on the remote control, launch Settings - Home screen, activate the Mouse button on the remote control and select the cursor to start at startup.
Installed the latest SuperSu
The button for accessing the settings of the sharing and BISS keys is made right in the basic settings (now you do not need to enter the code 111111)
Added in the Settings of the DTV program - setting the Clock and Date on the TV screen when watching the TV program. You can turn them off, change the location, color, font, etc.
Completely customizable and disabled Hours, Date and Weather are added (2 providers to choose from) You must enter your city manually in the Weather Settings. Read about the weather settings HERE
Redone Status Bar
The Settings have been changed.
+ Volume control changed
+ After leaving the DTV application, now we immediately fall into the launcher
+ Now you can install your own Wallpaper in the launcher. Settings - Screen - Wallpaper.
+ In the launcher added button Shutdown - Reboot the machine. If you choose to exit to Recovery and insert a card with firmware, the device will be flashed without pressing a button on the back of the device.
+ Added to the Status Bar buttons Back, Home, Menu, Latest Applications, Screenshot (convenient for those who use the aero mouse)
+ Settings have been added to TV Settings
+ Weather added to the launcher
+ Added select aspect of Pan & Scan and Combo to DTV application
+ Added the choice of the appearance of the infobar 1-2-3-5-7-10-15-20-25-30 sec.

+ You can fully customize InfoBar (set as one color of the background, and set a gradient of two different colors, change the color of all elements and labels, etc. That is, you can modify about 100,000 varieties of graphical appearance.)
+ Added service information in InfoBar (Satellite name, Frequency, Speed, VPID, APID, etc.)
+ Added information to the channel list: channel name, channel number, epg of the ongoing transmission, epg of the next transmission, description of the ongoing transmission. The only downside - when switching the channel does not have time to load epg, just by pressing the up-down button the information will be updated.
+ When switching favorites, it does NOT automatically start the channel list
+ Added support for Picons
In order for the picons to show up, you need to copy the Picons folder into the internal memory of the receiver to the root of the disc. The path will look like this - mnt/sdcard/picons/. In order for a picon to be displayed on a particular channel, the name of the png file must have the same name as the channel. For example, the channel name is First HD, then the name of the picture should be the First HD.png
Added support for scripts in Init.d
Added working ViPER4Android
Fixed channel panel (full date, hours, picos added)
Added working buttons in DTV Settings for Aero mouse..

it have oscam with page 192.168.1.*:8888 ?
if so, can you make this dtv installable on k1 plus and kii pro?
please, we need oscam
thnks
First of all, many thanks to Malaysk for this great firmware. Probably the best firmware for KI Pros with Widevine L3.
It is posible to extract the apk of your DTV app to install in another firmware? It has more better UI than the stock one.

If you want oscam shareable over the network give a try to LibreELEC. It has TVHeadend and Oscam. (I can't post with links. Search in the web)
You can also install LibreELEC in a micro SD card and keep the Malasyk's rom in the nand, to get the best of both OS.
Thanks for the job, but, as I get to see the weather info on the launcher but not when I'm watching the SAT? It's a povo annoying to watch a movie and have the weather fixed
Thanks work all perfecto except kodi that have image with judder or little jump , spmc work better for 3.0 versión , in 2.5 kodi work 100 %. Your dtv work very well

Limit exceeded in download yandex any link in Mega or similar for the last of Malaysk Version 3.0 Android 7.1 from 28 October 2017?
Thanks
Thank you for the custom rom which in my humble opinion is a vast improvement over the stock firmware but I have a couple of questions:
A) Has anybody been able to get the channel editor to work with the custom rom? When I try I get ‘Failed to pull ‘/data/data/th.dtv/dvb_s_mw_s1’.
B) Does anyone know of an android tv remote app that can control the functions of the box.All the ones I have tried fail to find the box on my network.
Good rom,how to controll root?
K1 pro custum firmware
looks great does it support 4K channels on Satellite.
thanks in advance

The malaysk firmware is suitable for dvb-c as it allows you to enter the frequency, ssid and NetID.
Project Stand alone Linux DVB-S2-T2-C Engima2 on S905D KI Pro
First Thank to Malaysk for his Custom Rom.
all of you know engima2 are basis of Linux Sat receiver, i mentioned above my post. i searched and found 2 Firmware for same developer One from date 20170412 belong to 1/8 GB S905D and other one 20170922 belong to 2/8 GB S905D , both are included the requires "lib" inside the apk.
from 04.22 just the DVBS2-T2-C with Oscam biss. power..etc. but the one from 09.22 are the same onky it include IPTV too with all ibs. interesting ..
important : as these apk stand alone . so need to chmod the i2c bus in init_amlogic,rc
Code:
# i2c bus
chmod 0666 /dev/i2c-0
chmod 0666 /dev/i2c-1
chmod 0666 /dev/i2c-2
chmod 0666 /dev/i2c-3
i add to the archive download the original boot and recovery include bulid.prop to each to make it easy to edit KI Pro.
the difficult part to me ... maybe only me.. not to Malaysk or other to edit the DVB apk. not so mach only to make the style and theme passed to Malaysk Rom.
so let us make this project to live on this Rom
Download:

if you want to start editing boot and recovery init with Amlogic customization tool here are the 6.0.1 firmware for KI Pro

Only one question
First of all thank you, and does the mic work usb, blue tooth or otherwise? (for use with google app, skype or any keyboard screen)

PIXELIZED OS
Hey guys it's enzo2001 here, introducing you Pixelized OS. My aim on this ROM is to make the tab 4 smooth, up to date and with Pixel look and Android P which is latest android version. I make Pixelized OS for 3 devices which is SM-T231/T230/T230NU, the difference between SM-T231 and SM-T230/T230NU is the SM-T231 version include Dialer, Contacts and Messages for 3G users while the SM-T230/NU version i removed Dialer, Contacts and Messages for Wi-Fi users.
In this ROM i removed lot of Samsung and System bloatwares and added many mods and tweaks to boost the ROM performance to max and i replaced stock samsung app to Material Apps and Google Apps except Dialer (SM-T231) and Contacts (SM-T231)
For Pixel feel i added latest Google Product Sans fonts which is included in Pixel device, Pixel audio and Pixel bootanimation. Thank you for this release. I have it installed on a T230nu and so far my initial impressions are pretty good, it's weird about the resolution...I kind of don't like it but in a way I do.. The font is soooooo tiny, I mean very, Very!!! Tiny, this can kind of be changed with the app settings xposed module, but honestly I think the factory resolution fits better, I use gboard swipe typing and it is kind of hard to do at this resolution. On the t230nu their is also a no service notification that is constantly there. On the recents menu the task manager and close all, is kind of cluttered and you cannot see what they really say. The ROM runs great though and I love how bare bones it is, I'll definitely keep track of this thread, and once again thank you for the work on this.

Thanks for the update. For anyone wondering this ROM really runs great and it's a nice balance between performance/battery. A thing to note though, some apps that will install on normal smt230 ROMs will not install, for example, Instagram. A easy way around that is too install yalp store , so no big deal.

Thanks for the feedback.. do u have any screenshot of the installing apps problem.. i think i can fix it
It's not a error, when you go to play store to install it, it says device is not compatible,on other roms it installs fine. If that problem was fixed and if you could turn off the no service thing, and disable more of the cell phone stuff I'd say this would be top pick of roms for this device.
Did you clean install or dirty flash the new rom? I had it happen to me a while back (maybe 10-12 versions ago of this rom) play store would not allow me to install basic apps that I had just installed before the flash. I would follow the directions, wipe & reinstall the rom. By the way Enzo2001, the version numbers are all screwed up again, making it very hard for a person to 1)download an update, because they are the same name, 2)during install of rom in TWRP, it shows a different name compared to the filename, 3)settings/about has different name than install name. It going to get confusing for all, including you

1.0 is the latest one for now as this is the new xda thread.. for new update ill just make it to 1.1
Enzo2001, you didn't read my post. The title of your thread is "pixelized Rom v1.0. the 1st download link, the room is called pixel_light v1.0. then someone complains of the text being to small, you give a link to a new version called pixel_ light v1.0 which is the same as the 1st version. Then in twrp it says you are installing a different name Rom, and finally the settings/about. Please clean it up so people don't install the wrong one. For example, I used a file mgr, I looked at download time and date to know which to use, but in twrp/install, it doesn't show the date & time

RECOVERY FLASHABLE BASE FEATURES
-Does away with warning on splash
-Debloated a fair whack but not too much
-rebased with each firmware update (when possible)
-rooted with magisk manager
-latest disabler from @ianmacd included (cheers for this and TWRP mate)
-flashes latest TWRP during Base flash
Changelog
v3.8 (3.7 unreleased)
- rebase to DUF8 - July patch
V3.6
- Main big change is that install options are now taken care of by the (now renamed) MASTER MODULE - you will be presented with your installation options on the first zip you install - these will then be picked up by the ROM MODULE that will automatically flash the relevant features selected in the MASTER MODULE flash.
- Rebased to DUDA - (next update will probably just be a rebase as new June firmware will be here v soon)
- Magisk v23 installed
- I have included the Audio Modification Library module for until they sort V4a out. The process to get v4a working is:
1 - Activate the AML module in magisk and reboot then when rebooted into system start v4a and install drivers (it will reboot)
2 - on reboot, disable the AML module and then reboot system once more
3 - when rebooted to system, start v4a and reinstall the drivers
4 - v4a should be functional after reboot
V3.5
This version brings a lot of automation to the install process. The mother module script will detect if the convertor has been flashed over that particular firmware and then make the convertor zip automatically if it is needed - in the case of reapplication of the rom or if i bring out an incremental update on the same firmware then this will mean that the convertor will be skipped by the mother module script and the rom module will be made only.
In short, the Mother module does my job by cooking the rom module and convertor mid flash
-Also rebased to DUD1 firmware
v3.4 Simple rebase to DUC8
- rebase to DUC8 firmware and most recent TWRP added
v3.3 no more disabler required after odin flash
- disabler files now added to odin files, no standalone disabler flash required anymore.
- rebased to DUC1 March patch
- workaround was required for wallpapers and will have this back to normal next time but end result is exactly the same. We're just using the DUB6 apk in this firmware no wallpapers were showing with DUC1 wallpaperres.apk
V3.2 another big update!!!! - in addition to the changes brought in recently, i have decided that patching system files instead of replacing them will be better going forward - the upshot for you guys is that the install process is even quicker now and the total package size has gone from 500mb to 240ish mb, yet the end result is exactly the same as any other release The convertor copies the relevant files from device and the rom module makes the amendments needed.
- fixes to backup and restore function
- tidied up script a bit
Now live in link in first post!!!
3.1- smallish update in comparison but still needed
- Home up added to goodlock package in rom - this incorporates task changer
- fixed Auto backup backing up previous rom options when new Rom Module selection option is selected (i.e no to restoring)
- Will now NOT install if any firmware version other than the one matching the rom is present
3.0- addition of Rom Module options backup/restore and rebase to OneUI 3.1:
- I have created a new Rom Module backup and restore function which will read the setup of the last rom module install (v2.6 onwards only) and ask you if you want to restore your previous install options. It will also backup any CSC features choices you make. This was not easy due to the complexity of my other function
-soundassistant updated
-some script optimisations and tidy ups
-completely rebased to DUB6 OneUI 3.1 - hence V3.0
-CTS fix working perfectly and is included as an install option
2.5 - big refinement on changes in 2.4
- module base convertor now installs the cts fix module automatically and systemlessly
- the Mother Module sends the convertor to internal/420rom which will then delete itself after flash and replace it with the rom module in internal/420. This is because it could be confusing with so many folders
- convertor now clears any old 420rom modules
- the convertor checks for old internal 420rom directory and clears it if detected then sets up a new one.
- more general automation and tidy ups in scripts applied
- advanced power mode app added for booting to recovery on the fly easier
2.4 - Big format change - see second post
2.3.2 - incremental update
- Added CTS safteynet fix by @kdrag0n - (huge thanks for your contribution to the community man!!!) - thread
2.2-2.3.1 (unreleased xmas testing)
Rom-module
- rebased files to CUA2 Jan firmware
- moved all install and extract code to functions which are each called when you select an install option for the magisk rom module features - main upshot is that it saves a **** load of time installing the module. The long boring extraction list before the install options is now a past nightmare
- tidying up the script big time - variables defined for mod extraction paths etc - makes debugging much easier haha
Module Base
- rebased to CUA2 Jan firmware
- Latest TWRP from Ianmacd included from now on - the base will automatically flash this.
- updated disabler included
- Magisk updated to V21.2
v2.1 (unreleased) & 2.1.1
- Full script rewrite for a big big change in cscfeatures implementation method
- csc features are now selectable should you not wish to install all of them
- updated source to CTL5
- CSC mod fixes
- bugs and performance fixes
v1.1/1.1.1
-changed default wallpaper
-compressed mods in module zip to save space
-added debloat to updater script - debloat is carried out after image flash (fixed issues in 1.1.1)
-general theme refresh
-fixed sound assistant not installing
v1-b6-b10
-added CTS fix
-added wallpapers
V1-b5
-implemented updated 3minit install procedure @starbucks2010 - cheers for the help and code for my flashable zip
-added updated YoutubeV manager etc - install youtubeV from manager is recommended
-tidied up install script
V1-b3&4
-unreleased, research mules for failed patch testing
V1-b2
- initial xda release
what's next? & Known Bugs we can't do much about or will sort eventually
-N980F/N985F support
-Google edition of the module
-incorporation of further goodies into magisk rom and base
-if A SYSTEM APP hasn't been removed, try uninstalling it you should now be able to - any updates installed over an original system app remain as they are data apps following an update

STOCK ROOTED ODIN FIRMWARE
XDA:DevDB Information
[MAGISK Rom & Base], ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Install procedure for V2.4 onwards has changed drastically as has the format of the module base itself
From now on N20U and soon on N10 and Tab, there will be no more 4gb zip files to flash (im sick of the time wasted waiting for copying and flashing lol) - the total size of files has gone from 4.5GB to 450mb but you will have exactly the same end result!!!!!!
I have created an "Mother Module" or "MM" which, when flashed in Magisk, places a (Magisk installed) Rom Module zip and a (TWRP flashable) Module Base Convertor zip into their own folder on internal/420.
The next thing to do is to go to TWRP and locate the Module Base Convertor zip and flash it. This will apply all debloat and This will also trigger a marker that will allow the rom module to be flashed.
Once the first zip is flashed, you can then go and install the rom module as normal in Magisk
I will be providing rooted stock firmware to start the whole thing off
BEFORE YOU START. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH THIS OVER A DIFFERENT DEVS ROM - IT WILL CAUSE ISSUES. BACKUP APPS AND DO A FRESH STOCK INSTALL FIRST - that's even if you get past the failsafe
Install process assuming you are on matching firmware to the released Rom and rooted
1, Flash the mother module in Magisk - reboot to TWRP
2, In TWRP, flash Module Base Convertor located in internal/420- this will apply all the modifications and debloat to your rom that i used to on the Old full size zips
3, reboot and install rom module in Magisk as normal- all done!!!
Install Process assuming you are coming from earlier 420rom:
1, Using the odin files i have provided, flash BL, Modded AP, CP and HOMECSC in Odin with AUTOREBOOT off
2, Keeping phone plugged in, hold vol down and power to exit download and immediately hold vol up and power to enter TWRP.
3, flash Multidisabler & reboot.
4, Flash the mother module in Magisk - reboot to TWRP
5, In TWRP, flash Module Base Convertor - this will install a few generic niceties seen on the module bases of old (No red text etc) and debloat a fair whack of crap out
6, reboot and install rom module in Magisk as normal- all done!!!
on a side note........................
How i patch and add TWRP to the Stock AP file - aka making stock rooted odin flashable files
Producing a stock rooted firmware is really easy and i would hope it would be part of people's standard updating process from now on & will take most people 10 mins if instructions on Xda are read through but I will make them nonetheless.
1, extract firmware zip so you have BL, AP, CP and HOMECSC visible (Put CSC aside)
2, copy AP to internal on phone and patch with Magisk (install -> select and patch file). Once done, copy the Modded AP file (also called magisk patched tar) that Magisk produced from /downloads on your phone's internal storage back to your firmware folder - call this one Modded AP or whatever.
3, get the latest TWRP and rename to recovery.img, drop the image into the magisk_patched.tar (delete recovery.img.lz4 if present)
4, extract the BL folder and delete vbmeta.img.lz4 in the extracted folder, pull out vbmeta.img from magisk_patched.tar and copy to the BL extracted folder - re-tar this BL folder using 7z. DO NOT REMOVE VBMETA.img from magisk_patched tar - call this one modded BL file or whatever.
5, you can now go ahead and flash Modded BL, Modded AP, CP and Homecsc in odin

Hi, I just wanted to know, with this rom, can you edit and modify system apps? Because am unable to do it, when I try to remove a system app, it won't let me. With the s20 this is fixed installing the vbmeta_disabled file.
Looks nice

ok now i have gotten past a tonne of the quirks this new device is throwing out so will be releasing an updated base and module shortly.
- any users of 3minit wont have to install the apk manually - just flash a zip i will provide and then select the option in the module install steps - took me a while to get my head around the /system mounting lol
- add themed secsettings
- add wallpapers
- take a look at Dex issue - can anyone else confirm this issue?

This rom is an attempt at trying to make the LG G Watch feel as close to Wear OS 3.0 as possible. You will find that font, icons and some UI elements are updated to mimic the latest Wear OS updates. At the same time I also tried to improve both the battery life and the overall response time while also adding some extra customization. If you are curious about the whole changelog just read the Changelog/Features>> section below. Let me know if you encounter any issues and have fun!

Finally got around UI modding again and this time I think I went for the biggest UI changes. This update changes some UI elements to look like Wear OS 3.0, specially the drawers items. You will notice also some big changes in the Settings app since I reordered the main elements and updated most of the icons so that it looks as close to a pixel watch as possible (also added the Locations panel heh). Updated and cleaned up the build props as well (again huh) and also included a better and lighter Phone Shortcut app. Finally I updated the Google Play app to the latest possible (this was a pain in the ass and I better not explain why) and also updated the system fonts to the Google Sans Text variant (Introduced in A12~ as the default font).
Love this so far! Great idea to revive the old watch. Thanks for making it!
Thanx you bring my watch back to life !!!
ps: need to test it
edit test : what can i say .... it work very good after 4 days i am impressed very good work

Try "fastboot continue" command. Unfortunately, it is not a permament fix. It will boot into twrp again afterevery restart.

Great ROM! However, I am experiencing some issues with it, one of which is probably my fault.
1. With my current setup, my watch always boots into recovery even if I select boot to the system. The only way I am able to boot it into the system is by using the "fastboot continue" command.
2. My watch has a white spot on bottom right of the screen, which I am sure is not a hardware issue as it worked fine in TWRP and when I initially boot in the system.
And, yes, I did try flashing everything again. So, if you know how I could fix this, I would highly appreciate that

Okey, well for the first issue I would recommend going inside twrp recovery > wipe > factory reset > swipe right. Then reinstall the rom again
And for the second one, it's not an issue, it's an app that comes pre-included so that you can open the apps list by pressing the white dot on the corner. You can customize it by going into apps > HomeButton > and changing transparency or position there

The white spot is intentional. In WearOS 2.0, you can only access some features with a hardware button. Because the G Watch does not have a physical side button, this white spot serves as that. It is a virtual button that emulates the button on the later-released G Watch R.
I also have the same issue with the "fastboot continue" command. However, I only started to experience this when I unpaired the watch and it tried to do a factory reset. Maybe the boot flags were messed up, but I have no idea. I'll try the fastboot continue command and see if I can get it to work. I haven't tried that since when I started having the issue, I just left my watch be.
EDIT: I didn't see OP's response when writing this. Basically this can be ignored
