I just got an unlocked fujitsu arrows f-51a about a month ago. Great phone!
I'm happy with the android 11 with it. Not considering of rooting it.
any ways to update to android 12 outside of japan ? and any update on root ?
just got this phone and p great other than a few drawbacks
To update android 12 you must use vpn app to change mobile geolocation to Japan,I used Touch VPN.
P.S.
I had android 10 and I updated android 12 with that method and another thing if anyone knows of SDM865 firehose because this mobile has the option to enter Qualcomm EDL mode means that you can try to unlock bootloader to install at least one GSI android because this mobile does not bring my native language unfortunately

I try with VPN many times but no update found, maybe this because I already insert sim and start using phone ?
I dont want to do everything again is there any way to update while keeping my data

You should leave it without the sim until you upgrade to the latest one with touch VPN, so I just did it.

Without unlock bootloader you can not root, another thing is that this phone does not have firmware recovery, in short you can leave mobile as a paperweight if you do not know what you are putting them in.

I have done updated to android 12. I used japan vpn app . You need to reset phone without sim then add vpn . It will be updated.
But i have one more issue now. My phone is on bootloop . It continuouly restart just after i complete update. After updating. I push power button to do restart. The. It is in restart.
Any body have flash it ?

I am sorry but I have never seen flash file of Docomo mobiles, the only mobile that publishes firmware with docomo operator is samsung because it is the one that manages it, the only solution is to make a firmware backup with a Qualcomm tool and that has the programmer file (firehose) of Arrow 5G.

Actually I feel it as some hardware issue. But for that need some more experience reviews from users. Is there any one else having this issue. .
Qualcomm tool can help me.Lets see it further. Its really very beautiful device.

i am sorry if this is not the right thread for this but im desperate.
this is the 4th forum im trying and no one seems to be able to help me.
i have a tablet called c901 MID made by ACHO (chinese company)
for about 3 weeks i tryed almost anything so i could see hebrew language (my language)
because android ppl where lazy i can only see squares instead of letters.
i tryed some changes and patches but all failed and i came to understand 2 things:
1. my tablet needs root access and i dont know how to get it.
2. my tablet (if possible) needs a update to android 2.2 which has hebrew (dont think this is possible for this)
downloading language pack from the market doesnt work btw.
and z4root didnt also.
many other solutions failed probably couse i dont have root access.
also very important to understand this is NOT a phone its a tablet , it has internet access (no camera) and movies and all that.
PLEASE ANYONE IF YOU CAN HELP ME! ANY INFO WOULD BE GOOD!

Yeah, me too. Android 4.0,3 is only english and chinese language. Isn't there something with more language?
I know you can root 2.3.5 easily, but have not found that rom yet, neither have i found a backup of 2.3.6 with norwegian language.

Been trying to root this phone now for 5 hours. Nothing so far has helped.

Problem is that i don't have the drivers to replace recovery.img...
Been at it for hours installing all kinds of crap on my pc.
This should not be rocket science, Huawei kinda adds what you need.
And yes, tested SuperOneClick 2.3.3, no go, stops at step #7.

I'm on GB 2.3.6, don't want to upgrade to 4.0.3 until i can find one in my native language(norwegian) and have a Nandroid of my current setup.
Did you try useing Gingerbreak, it may work.

Hi tropblaster, there's plenty of guides about rooting u8860 on Chinese forums. As a recent Honor owner I've been eyeing them for a while. I can post my root experience here once I were to do that (probably in a couple months). Or if you want, I can translate the instructions and foward relevant download links to you.

Create the root of SD card folder DLOAD ;

Turn to the trapped volume buttons ( increase and decrease the volume );

Sorry but still not managed to make Interop Unlock on my phone, I need help! That part has to do Diagnostic catch the XAP not working ... Can you give me a hand?

Install wireless manager from marketplace and then tap on apn, unselect automatic apn, then select any other service provider from the list below and close app. Now again do this all but this time select all as it was before. Do reply if its work or not.

do hard reset. And after that install wireless manager app, and then try interop unlock. Hope it works. And do click on THANKS button if you wish.
hi there, i have a developer's unlocked hd7 with limit to xap deployments...i can deploy only up until 2...i tried to interop unlock it but even if i did everything correct i still get an error for interop xap apps, like wp7root tools...is there anything else i can do??

Same thing here, tried pretty much everything, every instruction or tutorial i could find on the internet, but i'm still not able to unlock my samsung omnia 7... The steps that Maina16 forwarded have gone correctly according to the instructions but still i'm not able to deploy wp7 root tools... I'm slowly starting to lose hope with this

i dont want to create a new thread, thats way i will use this thread and hope somebody can tell me the answer.
I have an Omnia7 and i want to backup all my messages. My phone has at the moment only the developer unlock.
On my phone there is the OS version 7.10.8862.144
And i want to do the interop unlock. My Phone was interop unlocked until i updated to WP 7.8 as it was released by microsoft. After this update i lost the interop unlock .
Now i want to ask you if it is possible to get the interop unlock back to install the homebrew app SMSBackup?
I read everyime hard reset... But when i do a hard reset all my messages will be deleted... and then i will not need to backup my messages anymore
So could you please help me?

I made all tricks and both two methods from the Heathcliff74XDA Interop Unlock for 2nd gen Samsung WP7 devices but I dont have this position in GPRS manager so I cant tick it, I also have got developer unlock, and I also have got same error when tryin to deploy root tools. What did I mess? What else can I do?

None of the common Rooting Tools worked- no Vroot....etc...
Are there some news?

I've seen there are other (I suppose American/UK carrier) sm-g925_ files available for cf auto root, but apparently not the z model specifically.
As far as I'm aware I can't use a non-z file for my z-model phone without risking bricking the phone.
Is there anyone currently working on this? Is there anything I can do / check to use another file or to assist development on this z model?

I'm in the same boat as you I've been searching on xda and the web for any root access to the 404sc. Got my s6 edge from Softbank too. If you found a solution let me know and I'll do the same. Also what part of Japan are you from?

Just a heads up still have not found a way to root the 404sc but we may be able to flash a unbranded Samsung firmware that would be 5.1.1.

hai, still can't root s6 edge softbank (404sc) ? maybe this will help you to rooting. Just try with twrp recovery. And use twrp 2.8.6.0 (chinese - zeroltezt).

Thanks dikmutun for the suggestion but to install twrp recovery you have to be rooted first. Do you own a 404sc and are using softbank? If you have have root please tell us the procedure so we can share this with other 404sc users.

Please take a screen shot of your about phone setting with model number and a screen shot of SU installed. Also did you use odin to flash? This is to show root was successful and I will proceed.

I looked at the website you suggested but was difficult to follow tell your procedure if you can again. If your rooted I don't think you can get OTA now. On a different subject have you found a way to unlock your boooader?
Did you also try flashing the Hong Kong 9250 stock rom for the 404sc?

Update from original poster. Problem solved. I used dikmutun's exact advice below for downloading Odin and the Chinese TWRP tar file.
I got root with no problems.
After a bit more playing around with root apps, I can now tether my cellphone data to wifi hotspot, edit my APN, backup my apps with titanium backup.

I've seen there are other (I suppose American/UK carrier) sm-g925_ files available for cf auto root, but apparently not the z model specifically.
As far as I'm aware I can't use a non-z file for my z-model phone without risking bricking the phone.
Is there anyone currently working on this? Is there anything I can do / check to use another file or to assist development on this z model?

Glad to see some Softbank's GS6 Edge users here.
I am thinking also of getting this phone from Softbank this coming Nov. 2015.
But I am still thinking about it since I am reading a lot of users having some problems with it especially Battery life, RAM management and Lags.
Since you already have the GS6 Edge, how was it?
Are you encountering those problems or issues?
Would you please give some feedbacks based on your actual usage?

The main issue is battery life if your a medium to heavy user be prepared to have a portable charger by mid day. If your a light user you should be able to not charge until later on the evening. Great phone just the battery life could be better. On a side note if you decide to get it get the gold color looks sweet. Never get tired at look in at my phone!

Thanks for the feedback.
If battery is the only main problem, i think i can deal with it since i am always carrying a powerbank.
My great concern is the lag or sluggishness.
Are you encountering it? Is it tolerable?
I still have some more questions if you don't mind.
What was your phone before the GS6?
How long you've been using your GS6?
Have you successfully rooted it?
If yes, is it possible to remove all Softbank's unnecessary Apps?

I have a 404sc model JP Galaxy s6.
I used this method to get root access.
I can detect no problems at all.
I do not use the standard touchwiz **** UI.
I use ADW-EX launcher. by far the best Ive seen

And I didn't find 404sc model in cf auto root page. For which model you download the software and got success?
