Problem i am facing:
1.) call , message not allowed. (Gprs is working fine)
when i call, it says error "Mobile network not available"
i think its becuase my imei is changed to some europe imei now.
i want to get my real imei back , to make calls etc.
so, can u suggest me things to do?
did you make any efs backup? if you did then just restore if not... then it will be really difficult... there is few threads about it around somewhere in this forum ( seen it few times ) use search and i wish you good luck
ps. next time install ktool from hellcat and backup efs

I have a question.
My phone (samsung galaxy s2 gt 9001) has a generic imei, it is completely diffrent than original number imei under battery.
Phone works fine and I can make calls.
I want to flash phone to android 4.0 but I do wonder if phone will return to original imei after flashing (and let me do only emergency calls - original imei is probably blacklisted) or phone will still keep generic imei and allow me to make all calls.
thank you for your help
Did you make an /efs-Backup?
Did this happen after flashing something or...more information please!
You should always back up your EFS folder, which stores your original IMEI. I hope you did, have a look here anyway: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264021
Chris.
You say your IMEI is probably blacklisted .
Stolen phone ???
A factory reset or flash of new firmware is always the first step to try EFS recovery so yes their is a chance of correct IMEI .
jje
flash clean, stock firmware...an always backup efs folder tht is in good state...
Hi.
i recently got an alpha 850fq from someone and it just stopped working after a day. Everything is okay except it shows NULL IMEI AND BASEBAND so i am not getting network signals. Please tell me how to fix it if its hardware or software problem.
(It was just lying there and the problem happened on its on.....it did once get its imei back for 2,3 minutes and lost again when i restarted) i have not done any modification/rooting on this device.
UPDATE ON THE ISSUE, the Baseband and imei come back randomly and keep working unless i change Mobile network to "LTE/GSM" auto connect and enable 4g or 3g data....it seems the baseband gets corrupted only when i enable 3g or 4g....i have the EFS backup and restoring it when the imei baseband are null does not do anything. For some reason they come back on their on randomly.

Hi,
I broke my Galaxy S8 plus G955FD two weeks ago and bought another one exactly the same.
I have a nandroid backup from the former phone I decided to flash into the new one.
I guess my mistake was to flash the EFS too.
Now both IMEI (double SIM) show unknown and no network connection. Everything else work just fine.
I need help to fix this.
Thanks
