[HUAWEI HiCar Ecosystem Express]Huawei Leads ICCE in Car Connectivity Standardization - Huawei Developers

To establish connectivity between vehicles and smartphones, resources of both devices need to be pooled together. By playing to the strengths of each, developers and manufacturers can create a smart travel experience for consumers. As a next-generation car connectivity solution, HUAWEI HiCar provides consumers with smart features for whatever they're doing, and wherever they're doing it, whether they're in their vehicle, at home, or on the go.
By teaming up with ecosystem partners in hardware and apps, Huawei has actively promoted the opening up of technology and industries since 2019. A milestone in this journey is the establishment of the Intelligent Car Connectivity Industry Ecosystem Alliance (ICCE), which Huawei has passionately supported. Huawei has taken the lead in formulating car connectivity standards, and has contributed to the basic connectivity protocols (including physical connections between smartphones and head units, connection protocols, logical interfaces, and application and control interface standards) used by the ICCE.
This car connectivity protocol will be opened up to everyone through the ICCE. Huawei welcomes partners to collaborate with the ICCE, in order to drive industry development.

Quality Data — App vs Project Analytics

On the AppGallery Connect console you will find two areas that display quality data, on the surface they look the same.
One is Quality analysis under App analytics > Analyze, which covers Quality Overview, Crashes and ANRs, Launches and freezes, and Power consumption.

The other is Quality in My Projects, under which there are Crash, APM and other services.
If we take a look at the documentation concerning Quality analysis and Quality.
We can see that SDK integration is not required for accessing data in Quality analysis. However, this applies only to some apps. However SDK integration is required for accessing data in Quality. This also applies to iOS apps.
The differences between the two types of analytics can be described as:
Quality AnalysisOnly supported on Huawei devices with EMUI. No SDK integration is required as the data is collected directly by the devices operating system. The data is owned by Huawei and app developers are provided with this data about their apps.
QualityAll apps and platforms are supported (Android, iOS, hybrid frameworks). However SDK integration is required. The SDK collects the data and this data is owned by the application itself.
