I've been looking for the stock browser for this thing for a very long time. I was wondering if someone has a spare apk lying around. I still have my LG E435 but have no idea how to extract it from the phone. Any help would be appreciated.
I still think its one of the best browsers even though it has shown its age simply because of the saved pages feature and the pie controls.

Hello guys
Just need a bit of help with Opera.
Some weeks ago, don't ask me what i did or what happened, i messed up the original opera that came with the HD2 stock rom. I personally liked it more than v10 because of the pinch and zoom etc. now i've installed 9.7 again but no more pinch and zoom in in.
Is there a cab around the xda forum that will give me back the original features of Opera as it came from HTC? e.g pinch and zoom more than anything. or is there a way to enable this in v10 or 9.7?
or maybe there's a browser out there better?
Thanks in advance.
This thread........ contains all the available builds of opera.....
you should be able to find an answer there........
Hope that helps.......
Hey guys! I accidently deleted the folder "Opera9" from my HD2. Could someone tell me how can I restore it, or where can I download a new opera form (I don't want the mobile version) Thanks.
I get the "not supported on your platform" notification when I try to run the application. I can't view it in Dolphin with a desktop user agent, either.
Do I need a different version of flash? I tried editing the build.prop to look like my Viewsonic GTab (which uses Nexus S/samsung, incidentally), but that didn't help anything.

Hi, I wondering the same thing. Hulu Plus worked great on my Samsung Vibrant but not my new Samsung S3 (T-Mobile). Hopefully there be an update or a workaround.

Hi!
I'm not new to the rooting scene - I've rooted practically every Android device that I've ever owned. However I can not, for the life of me, find any documentation at all on the interwebs about rooting the LG Google TV running Android 4.2.2. Towelroot and other root apps did nothing for me, sadly.
The reason for rooting is that I want to purchase Lightpack, an awesome TV backlighting system that can work with rooted Android devices to backlight the TV and effectively "extend" the screen (Google it for more info - XDA will not allow me to post outside links since my account is new). The app is installed on my TV just fine, but the issue is that Lightpack cannot enter "screen grab mode" without root, which is the mode where the lightpack updates in real time with the colors of whatever is on the screen, hence the whole point of purchasing it.
Has anyone been successful in rooting the LG Google TV? Here are my specs:
Android 4.2.2
Model no 47GA6400-UD
47" LG branded "Google TV" - once again cannot provide URL because I am below the post limit. Google the model no for more info.
Would be awesome if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Thanks for the link, but it looks like they don't have anything on the LG branded Google TV and rooting it - only the Sony models. Can't find anything at all about LG model anywhere! Crazy.

Maybe The Sony One Is Easier To Work With Haha, Well Sorry I Couldnt Help And Good Luck !
Sweet! I got my LG Google TV rooted! I used Cydia Impactor over Wi-Fi and then installed the SuperSU APK manually - worked like a charm. Now I can buy Lightpack and it will work!
So excited. Yes!
Wish I could post a tutorial for those other LG Google TV users out there waiting for root - I can't post it yet because XDA is disallowing images and links in my posts until 10 posts.
Guide
Did your ever get a guide done for this? I'm interested in rooting my Google tv for lightpack.
I could share contact details if you would prefer.

I did, actually! Without huge knowledge of Android. I didn't find a guide specific to LG Google TV, but I found something on the web and did the equivalent of SSH into the TV over WiFi and pushed the root to the TV remotely. Unfortunately even with root, Lightpack's lazy devs never got screen capture working fully. It bogs the TV resources down so badly that the TV won't even shut off, have to unplug it.
So good news and bad news. Rootable but useless for Lightpack screen capture. Other root stuff works though.
Are you still active here? I am looking for someone using a Google TV by LG

Folks,
I have a LG OPTIMUS F5 P875 cellphone that unfortunately, out of nowhere, stopped working. I've indeed lost many important things, but what I miss the most are my notes.
On the other hand, a couple months ago I have made this backup.rnt with richnote itself (it's the stock notes apk) and I was able to save it someplace else, but now that I'm trying to open it, I've discovered that no other application will manage to do it (I've tried a lot of them).
Well, I have this rooted SAMSUNG Galaxy Ace 2 and I was planning to get that same richnote.apk and run it on my rooted cellphone, then I would be able, at least theoretically, to open my backup.rnt file with it.
Would it be really possible to run this same apk in my Samsung? Could someone upload your own Richnote.apk for me? Is there something else I can do to get this RNT file opened?
I have already tried these, but they don't work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2618790
I know this is probably not the proper forum, but I didn't find one about LG OPTIMUS F5.
Thank you very much.
The LG V10 is a great phone, robust hardware backed up by some sub par software. I'm asking any dev's out there if they would be able to create a Google play edition of sorts with all of the LG software removed minus the camera
NFC, and other bits vital to the operation of the phone. I kind of have this setup but cant find a working dialer to
replace the LG dialer. The only LG stuff I didnt delete was the file manager, downloads, dialer, camera, weather, mobile hotspot and voice recorder. All other apps have been replaced with a google version to include google now. If a dev
would be able to put this together, or at least create a flashable dialer would be just as good. IMO, the V10 would be
the perfect mix of LG/Google when all is said and done. :fingers-crossed: :good:
Thanks
I know I'm answering myself here, but rather than try and actually replace the dialer, I just downloaded one that fits the material design language and now my phone looks like it came straight from Google. I've provided some screen shots of what it looks like. If anyone wants help turning theirs into a GPE edition of the LG V10 let me know. I'm trying to find the right dialer and corresponding .so file that can be added properly rather than the stock LG dialer which is hidden at the moment.
It looks cool, but its just a theme and a few apps. It'd be nice to get the pure google play edition rom, if at all possible.
It is be possible to some degree. Keep in mind a "pure" aosp ROM will have no lg apps at all. No lg camera or anything. We still can't get the stock g3 camera on any custom ROMs.
