Hello,
I have a problem with an HTC Flyer.
The device cannot be started in bootloader mode or recovery mode.
The only thing that still works is the download mode.
The device is displayed as Qualcomm Diagnostic under Linux and Windows 7.
Is there a way to re-flash the bootloader?
Then fastboot would be possible afterwards.
I downloaded the original rom from the internet.
I unzipped the Rom according to another manual, so I now have all parts of the Rom available.
I have already tried it with the QFIL program, but you need an xml file for this, but this is not available in the ROM for the flyer.

You'll need to get fastboot on your PC, and use it to flash a custom recovery (like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25490394)
If you're using Windows, you may also need drivers installed if you haven't already (they should come with HTC Sync)
I'm not sure where to get a build of fastboot, but that shouldn't be too hard with a little searching..
Once you have it, boot the phone into fastboot mode (like you have in that picture) & plug in the USB cable to your PC.
Open a command prompt (or terminal for Mac & Linux) and change to the directory where fastboot & the recovery image are. Then run "fastboot flash recovery cwm-5.0.2.3-liberty.img"
If it worked you should be able to boot into recovery on the phone (BOOTLOADER > RECOVERY) and install a ROM (like CM7 or something from the development section here)
Create a backup before you do if you want
Dears,
I wonder if you can help
I did the following steps successful.
unlocking bootloader
rooting
flashing cwm recovery
flashing cm10 (updated to CM11 successfully)
flashing gapps
but the phone stays S-on.
Now my computers does not recognize the phone.
In the windows device manager is a one listed under other devices.
But when i am looking for drivers automatically or manually the drivers cannot be found.
When I reboot my phone into bootloader mode then my computer recognize the phone and i have access via ADB or fastboot.exe
fastboot.exe -devices is listening my phone as FA3AAW905529
Maybe I need to S-off my device, but i dont know how.
I would like to have acces to folders on my phone.
Alternatively I installed Airdroide as a workaround.
P.S. Drivers are installed
Sincerely
Alex
No idea?

U can boot into Hboot right??
If so then go to fastboot mode from there & flash Recovery
If that's not the option for u then i think ruu(rom upgrade utility by htc dev )is solution for u...
yes i can do that to go in hboot mode and i downloaded that ruu file and cannot do that because pc doesnt find my phone and i have installed drivers. Everywhere it says that USB debugging must be enable to do that. I have also downloaded sdk manager and platform tools to try install ruu with cmd via usb cabel but device was not found also. I tried many ways that is on youtube and xda forums but there isnt any good solution yet for me. For good solution that work il gave some donation.
Flash Recovey via fastboot If Device Stuck or Crashed

Hi
Please provide with working stock or custom ROM for Micromax p666 Tab. There is a stock ROM available online but it's firmware files are corrupted. My device is nearly bricked so plz help me out. Any working Android version will help.
Stock Rom P666 from bricked phone
Download Micromax_P666_V1_22.11.14 Micromax_P666_V1_22.11.14_(by_xdafirmware.com).zip
Install adb driver.
Install google android USB drivers (I did it by installing android studio, running sdk manager and choosing google usb driver). Once downloaded, you can copy that folder and uninstall android studio. Very long way. Surely google and find a short way
Manufacturing flash tool doesn't work. Search and download "Manufacturing Flash Tool.rar", which also has IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.2.0.exe and iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.0.2.exe. Now manufacturing flash tool will open in Windows (10 in my case).
Power Off. Press power+volUp+voDown, enter fastboot/droidboot mode. Driver Manager, select device and install Android fastboot driver (Second, not sure exact name).
Start Manufacturing Flash Tool. Select "flash.xml, (not sure why there is no button for me to proceed!!!). Enable logs and print fastboot commands.
Save printed fastboot commands to safe location. That is your bible!
Run fastboot commands in that order. You have stock rom.
Still trying to unlock bootloader, install custom recovery and root it. I need it to be rooted. Couldn't find a way so far.
I have uninstalled with adb the google package manager on my device, now it does not boot up. Does anybody has an idea to bring it back?
P.s: In developer options I have unlocked usb debudding and oem unlock. I can not find the fastboot mode.
Reflash Stock ROM.
FYI:
Fastboot is merely an executable you can operate on device's bootloader once it got unlocked.
I have found this tutorial, is it right? There are also the firmware files I need on this side.
Thank you very much, I have managed it!
I did it with the great lgup utility and the firmware you can get you can find here (for my
LG Q630EAW).
