No, nothing happens no lights, sceen is totally black!!
I'll give this phone to service center in coming working days, because its the only option left now.
Yeah, my friend also had the same problem, we searched the net for full day tried every thing and finally came up with the service centre as the last solution.

You "broke" your phone mainboard
Go to LGE Service.

I went to service center, they said phone's PCB has to be changed wihch is worth Rs.9500 where as the phone costs Rs.10200. Instead of repairing i may buy a new one, isn't it?

y do u calibrate battery! it act makes no difference! U can search " Battery Calibration Debunked " on google and read the post!
how?
exactly how are you planning to recalibrate the battery?
Give it a full charge then wipe battery stats in CWM. It's in there somewhere.
I know it's myth busted, but I still swear by it. I used to experience huge battery drops which does not make sense. For example, it will be 50% after 5 hours, then within an hour, it massively drops from 50% to 5% before dying.
I have also experienced the phone dying even though it said "30%" half an hour ago. Wiping battery stats seem to work, not to prolong the battery life, but at least let me know accurately how much I have left.
you should recalibrate battery if your are experiencing battery issues.
Guys I need help here. I just rooted my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500), and it was fine for a few hours...but now it just wont turn off.
Even when the screen times out.
Even when I press the power button.
It will just stay on no matter what. (Interestingly, long pressing the power button does bring up the power dialogue!)
I did not flash any Custom ROM. I did not even install any recovery! The only tinkering I did was Setting cpu speed using Tasker...
Guys please help...I'm in trouble...
If the kernel you used is uncompatible or if its a stock kernel, you will get issues, also if you set the frequency to high for your phone,it will give issues,Look @ this.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727171

Tried It All
I tried restarting the phone. Nothing happened. I removed the battery and re inserted. Nothing happened.
, I decided to factory reset. I lost root, but the kernel stuck...Aaaarrrggghhhh.
Problem still persisting.
Umm by battery pull, do you mean removing the battery while the phone is on?
(Update: Trying removing the battery while the phone was on...didn't help)
Thankfully, I've got the S View cover...So most of the screen is black, just the time, etc are on...
Further help...
Could anyone please give a link to the stock firmware for galaxy s4 i9500?
Like "you-get-your-warranty-back-and-you-are-allowed-to-install-OTA-updates" kind of firmware?
Like, if I flash it, I unroot my device, and it becomes like before?

Hi,
Sorry.
Did you check the link?
Far from being random,it is the most extensive thread of it's kind.
It has clearly marked links for the areas involved.
And if he has any doubts, the [OP] would only be glad to help him out.

My phone is factory unlocked. Here in India, people rarely buy phones with carriers.
Will the link next to "india" work? Or should i just take it to the service centre? (my phone isn't rooted, remember?)

Hold the reset button for 3 seconds. Once you've done that, you then hold the power button to power it back up. Will always work unless the device is dead. But if it wont power up then its a warranty issue.

Press and hold VOL UP when you connect your Ultra to your computer with the USB. The LED should turn blue. If nothing happens, then you've hard bricked it, i.e it's dead. But just to be sure, plug it in and charge it for around 30 minutes and try again.
please answer my question

Hello,
unfortunately nothing, but I just checked it today again it looks I still have a hardware problem, I left it charging over night but the battery is 0V this means it was shorted any some point and now the battery is in safety mode.
Thank you for the posting, I need to solve this and will come back after I solve the hardware...
