I received my dbrand skins today. They came with 2 of each skin I ordered, one full coverage and one that can be applied to just the back of the phone. I tried out the sky blue pastel on just the back first. No issues with application and I'm happy with my purchase.

Thank you for the clarification. I like how the colour is somewhat faded. The Mellow Yellow colour on the website was a big turn-off for me. But if the actual thing is the one you've uploaded, I might just order the same. :angel:

yeah it is very clean, i love it. On the website it look like a "kill bill yellow" and it is clearly not that

Looks like it is going to be awhile before the case I want is out. I can get the international version of it now. But like others have pointed out it covers the top noise cancelling mic. If I do that what exactly is that going to do?

Not much. You can also cut a hole in these cases carefully and use them if you are really concerned.

Yeah the focal point is off, it was hard to tell from the viewfinder when the picture is pretty much a black on black reflective object . I didn't want to spend the time shooting it again, but you can see the hole.

Hey, they added more colors (blue, black, and "red") were the only ones when I bought mine. That red appears to be masquerading as orange.
I'd imagine you could also accomplish something very similar with a Dremel tool and the right bit.
Or if you want the $0.10 solution, a paperclip and lighter.

White because it doesn't come in black.

Gone for white as i have always had black phones, the blue looks near black but i fancy a change and from the pics white just looks gorgeous, now i get 7 days to change my mind when i recieve it, thats if i hate it or the mrs drives me crazy calling me a girl for having a white phone!!!!

i know is preference but i can tell you that i returned the white version (after a week) and got the black version today because of the BLACK BORDERS around the phone. The black version DOES NOT HAVE IT. u might think because is black it does have borders and u can't see it because the bezel and borders are both black. This is not the case. the black bezel covers all around the screen, while the white bezel does not. it's noticeable both in direct sun light.
here is how a white version looks with black border, i tried to live with it and it was so annoying that i gave up on it.

OP are you serious? I'm pretty sure all G2 phone have that border, its just the black phone would be obviously harder to notice.

i have the black one from verizon and it absolutely positively does. looks just like the white one but way less noticeable

I have a midnight blue nexus 6 with a d brand carbon fiber skin, I am looking for a case with a silver bumper and a clear back. I am not a huge fan of the blue border because none of the skins really go well wound the shade of blue they used. I have looked at the spigen and ringke cases but it's not clear in the pictures if the edge is silver or clear. Thanks

How did you get the purple lettering? I'm guessing there's a skin underneath?
It's actually pink carbon fiber dbrand skins. The phone itself came directly from dbrand, so they applied the black cover as well as the pink cover for each letter plus the moto logo.

It's the black glossy bar surrounding the camera/sensors at the top. Google calls it the "Visor" (marketing term, I guess)
Wouldn't these block the laser focus?

if that's the case - all of this hub-bub over what to cover it with is invalidated if we can just change the plate behind it. would be sweet if you could re-position the notification LED to illuminate the back panel.
I like the black bar and I'll embrace it. Went with the Frost to emphasize it. Besides, those chamferred edges on the Frost was just too sexy to pass up.
