Hello
I am continuing to have the same problem that I posted earlier this year.
No one has replied and/or confirmed my issue on Samsung phones.
On my Samsung A50S and other Samsung devices that I have tried, the speech output for Google Translate for the Khmer/Cambodian language does not work. I live in Cambodia so this is a useful feature for me.
The speech output for Khmer works on non-Samsung devices and on the desktop app.
Why does the Google Translate Khmer language speech output not work on my phone, but it works on other phones and the desktop app?
Yes, the speech output for other languages does work on my phone, so it is only a problem with the Khmer language.
Previously, the Khmer language speech output did work on my older Samsung phone.
I've sent bug reports to Google Translate and Samsung and I have never received a reply. Not that I expected to, however, I thought the problem would be corrected by now with updates and/or some technical department spotting the issue.
Thank you
Andrew

After I read somewhere, that the galaxytab 10.1 works perfectly with an apple bluetooth keyboard, I quickly bought one.
Now I found out that the galaxytab has problems with my keyboard:
I can't use two special characters from the german keyboard layout. One is @, located on "alt gr + a" key,, when running windows and located at "L" (cmd + L? ?) on my german apple bluetooth keyboard.
To cut a long story short: I read that it is a limitation of my GalaxyTab 10.1, produced by Samsung.
Does anyone know about a workaround???
Thanks

Hi guys
After reading a lot of threads on this and other forums, and so on...i´m still having a problem with my Android Phone.
I searched on the Android Markets, and so on, and after installed several APP the problem still goes on.
I also have tried, Vlingo and all the other app´s in the market, but none has worked well on Android 2.3.3.
I´m looking for a APP that made this 2 things:
1 - Allow my car handsfree to display caller name (not just the number) when a call is received
2 - Made a call trough the steering wheel call buton
* i had this 2 functions "enabled" on my previous WM 6.1 phone and other phones (ex. Blackberry, Symbien OS but when i changed to Android i lost them in my car
** i´m willing to pay a affordable price, if someone here can create a APP to allow Android OS have this enabled with BT Handsfree
Thanks a lot
Best Regards
Hi All,
I bought a generic bluetooth keyboard for my flytouch 9s 10.1" 4.2.2 tablet.
I coupled it with the tablet but it doesn't show in the language input section
and when I try and use it to type within an office page ...zilch shows, just the vitual keyboard.
Is there somethiing I have missed or is it just not compatible.
A wireless one works fine and shows up.
ANY help will be most welcome.
Brian

Dear XDA members,
I am opening this thread in hope that the collective knowledge of XDA will help find a solution for a problem me and some other users are having with the GT1 and possibly other S912 tv boxes.
It seems that there is a problem on some devices, if not all, that when you connect a bluetooth keyboard or mouse to it, it appears as connected, but no input from the keyboard/mouse is seen.
The steps i tried so far are:
- usb mouse and keyboard are working
- tested on different official firmwares, custom ones and even ones from other manufacturers with same hardware (T95z,)
- tested with 3 different keyboards : RII i8+ (bt version), apple keyboard, tablet cover bt keyboard, and 2 mice: RII i8+ and apple mouse
- cat /dev/proc/bus/input/devices does not show the bt devices
- created keyboard layout for the specific vendor and product ID, but it seems that they are not loaded as the device corresponding to those vendor and product is not detected
- installed ubuntu using linux deploy, and keyboard is not working in there also,
The most anoying thing is that the company i bought it from is stating that the box does not support bluetooth keyboard input as it lacks "associated configuration file", whatever that means.
If anyone has experienced similar problem and found a solution, or if anyone has any suggestion as to what else to test, i would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Catalin.
Hi I own a similar device - Videostrong´s YokaTV KB2. It has the same issue you mentioned. I tried similar steps you mentioned, but unfortunately I were not able to fix it yet. I believe there might be issue with the code provided by Amlogic, because this issue is quite prevalent among S912 devices. I already tried to contact Amlogic support by e-mail, so far I am waiting for the reply.
This one works
Sorry to hear of your problem guys but I have a keyboard which works straight out of the box! It's the Mini Bluetooth, IS11-BT05 with internal batt & USB charging. Got it from Ebay <£20. Hope this helps.
Hello!
I'm using my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Exynos, latest stock firmware+stock kernel, rooted) as a somewhat portable typewriter, with a BT keyboard. Unfortunately, my current KB has broken, and I'm looking for replacement. I chose the Think Outside Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard (also calls iGo Stowaway Keyboard, like this https://www.amazon.com/Stowaway-Ultra-Slim-Bluetooth-Blackberry-Handhelds/dp/B0002OKCXE (Amazon just for example, I found a way cheaper). This KB, AFAIK, working on Android devices, but I can't find the information about correct working of FN modes: typing numbers or characters like @, $, *, etc. Google said, it might be troubles with generic BT HID drivers on Android, especially the newest. Also, question about cyrillic characters - maybe, someone know, how it is implemented on this KB? Sorry for my bad English, and thanks!
