Make sure you have a custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery)
Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package
Boot into recovery
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom
Flash Google Apps package(Optional)
Flash Magisk Root(Optional)
First boot may take up to 10 minutes.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Incoming audio alert fails to sound on FB messenger, Gvoice & Telegram. SystemUI crashes if you enable screen recorder from pwr button. Brillian Rom so far...:good:

Hi. I've been away from flashing my phone a few months now, so forgive me if my questions seems a bit noob but...
Isn't it necessary to flash "copypartition" zip to flash RR?
Cause I had a hard time before following steps to flash Android 9 roms, given that my phone would always bootloop after flashing, so I had to elaborate my "own steps" in order to get roms up and running (I noticed that some stock roms have different number or sparsechunk files into them, which may have caused that "official instructions" wouldn´t work on mine).
I've always loved Resurrection Roms and did try RR 7.xx on my G7 Power, but unfortunately it was too buggy for me to keep it as my daily driver (again, may have been due to the "official instructions" not followed properly due to my device's issues). I would love to try this rom, but I don't wanna mess my phone. If anybody would confirm the steps, I would flash it later tonight to enjoy this great rom.

Did you set the Phone app as the default?
Check in Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Phone
And verify that you have notification sounds set?

I am only using WiFi VoIP calling no sim. As u can see from the 1st log states no audio alert routed... Dialer is set as default and of course I checked if notifications are on.. I have flashed 4 roms on this phone... I am not new to this.... Also your developers options Override force-dark resets every reboot.... And force desktop mode is glitchy....
