Wht about forum ? Created?
I have Lenovo A6010.
Right now using RR 5.8.3 Android 7.1.2 x32 installed from 4pda Russian forum.
32 bit firmware flashed from TWRP 3.0
Everything is working fine Camera, Flash, Speaker, Charging is very good.
Now problem what I'm facing is with LTE networking.
When it is set to LTE only connectivity is lost.
But it works when selected GSM/WCDMA/LTE mode but network fluctuates a lot.
I'm using Jio sim.
It works well on CM 12.1 and stock ROM
Lineage 7 has slow charging issue. Mokee has many but network works fine there.
Any solution?

You can try aosp 4.4 if you facing any issues with rr5.8.3 or go for 5.8.4 or make a clean install of your current one

But the snap 410 chip support volte it is possible to add volte as the perfect similar device like redmi 2 which is very close to a 6010/plus features support volte

Yes Resurrection Remix 5.8.3 is almost complete if Devs shows little interest I know they can fix it.
The only problem I found is with Magisk.
Yesterday I flashed YU with AOSP and everything works fine there including Volte.
Same Magisk works Awesome and safetynet is clear on YU.
But here in Resurrection Remix 5.8.3 (from 4pda) when magisk is installed many apps like firefox, ludo king ets crashs
and when Magisk is removed everythig works fine , but then we can't use Paytm and other banking apps.
There are only few devs & maintainer for A6010 and they are busy. We have no choice wait & 'Have patience'
Till then we can lean porting ROM

I use dot os 7.1.2 and it's great.
Main camera doesn't work but I used lineage 14.1 kernel and now it's working but I got slow charging bug.
Still good ROM if you want give it a try.

Is it required to disable force encryption?

If you want to flash the latest LinageOS you'll have to update vendor/firmware. You'll also have to wipe your fone. So yes. And no, DFE is not required. I'd back up useful data first before doing the reinstall.

Booting stock ROM seems to work. However, flashing Gapps package 9.0 gives error saying the ROM is SDK23 (or Android 6.0).

Thanks. I was not sure since OEM is still 9 and Gapps 10 was not yet available for download on official website. Tried from Cyanogen website Gapps 10 (full, pico) but 'Android Setup keeps stopping'. Tried from XDA BiTGApps, does not have Android Setup and works.
Will keep you posted here on how ROM behaves.

So I tested the rom for some time now.
It indeed restarts at some random moments just idling laying on the desk. Do not yet have an understanding why this is. However it is not that often that it is annoying.
Magisk works perfectly.
BitGApps does also work.
A lot of notifications saying app versions are not made for Android 10, try to update while having latest installed. Guess this is a Android 10 issue?
Netflix does not seem to work keeps giving connection error (9).
At startup the notification always pops up saying there is a problem with the android system.
Sometimes text in apps or launcher vanishes until restart.

There are a few things which does not work, like the camera app that comes with the OS as well as the notch, where icons goes beyond the notch. Someone suggested I try the OpenKirin Rom and that is how I got that specific ROM on my device.
I was wondering are there maybe other ROMS for this device? Like the one's mentioned in the article below?

There is nothing like perfect Custom ROM. It is highly dependent upon the requirement of the user and his likes/dislikes. Every ROM has its importance and downsides. You can try flashing multiple ROMs to find the ROM which is suitable and best for you. There is no Custom ROM that is 100% bug free (it depends, among other things, on model, FW built number etc. etc.).
If you don’t prefer EMUI,* choose Havoc OS , AOSP Extended or LineageOS.
If you "hate" Google and Google's bloatware (like me ) only, you can simply rebrand your phone to chinese Nova 3e (among other things, better battery life, lower data consumption etc.)
Or, choose Custom ROM based on Stock with KangVip settings ( to get away from GAPPS) , stable enough to be used as your daily driver.
Availability of custom ROMs for Kirin devices is scarce.

Hi,
No i have not tried one of the recommended in that list i provided. It took me a very long time to get the phone unlocked! Then more bricks, soft and hard through the process :crying:
Magisk was not as hard to install but EdXposed was, and I also got my device stuck on a boot loop trying to get EdXposed to run. So yeah I took me a while to get it working.

If I currently have LineageOS 16 (Aug 2020 ver) can I use the AB partition? I presume so because the Android version currently is 9. I am looking to try HavocOS.

AB or A-only depend on EMUI version : 9.1 = AB, 8.0 = A-only.

Don't bother trying any one of those ROMs listed in that post. I wasted a whole day trying to flash a ROM specified by that website. Look specifically for ROMs on XDA website.
I get more help here, and it has been tested already on our devices.

I flashed treble gsi rooted and with gapps on my ane-lx1 and everything works except fingerprint unlock after first reboot. But fingerprint gestures still working

Make sure you have a custom recovery installed (TWRP is the preferred recovery. [I'm not using Fox recovery, I'm not going to give you advice.])

Boot into recovery
Wipe system, vendor, data, cache partitions to clean install.
(If your /data partition secured, maybe need format /data if you want to use this ROM.)
Flash Rom in TWRP (sideload or copy any storage)
Flash OpenGapps (Optional) [I'm not using GAPPS, I'm not going to give you advice.] (NOT TESTED!)
Flash Magisk Root (Optional) [I'm not using Magisk, I'm not going to give you advice.] (NOT TESTED!)
Reboot (If TWRP warn that there is no system, it doesn't matter, go reboot.)
First boot may take up to ~1-2 minutes.

In ugglite has not fingerprint. (At least in mine.)

1. When I select the front camera I can only see a black screen. It seems that the camera works because I take photos which are totaly blacks.
2. The FM Radio does not work.
Both front camera and FM Radio worked properly and perfect with stock rom.

Sorry, I've never tried the "OFFICIAL" Lineage version, so I can't help you with that. It's pretty sad that it's so buggy.
I do not (and will not) use "retrofit antics" on my phone. The "retrofit" makes no sense in the case of ugglite.
My ported version is perfect for me.
(I don't even understand why ada12 is promoting it in this thread... It's pretty bad.)

Sorry for promoting ... I have tested lineage 20 msm8937 witch retrofit Dynamic partition
in my ugglite Its fully stable ... ( Exept kernel 4.19 still have issue )

From me, everyone uses whatever ROM they want.
My phone has been stable for 6 years, even without a retrofit. (In the case of a 512 MB vendor partition, there is no point the retrofit. I think!)
But then please help our friend with the nickname cchatzim to solve the official LOS problems, thank you!

ada12 did you flash official lineage 20 (mi8917) to your ugglite and you have not any problems with front camera and fm radio?

Ugglite is Mi 8917 based, this one is for https://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/lineageos/full/Mi8917/20230505/
