Getting no signal / network not available after update - Asus Zenfone Max M2 Questions & Answers

As the title says, I updated my phone yesterday and since then I'm not receiving any signal at all, can't receive a call or anything. I've tried resetting the phone, changing usual settings and all but it doesn't even connects to the carrier's service anymore so can anyone explain what could be the issue and how do I fix it?

As you can see, it just shows 'no service'.

Do a clean flash of stock rom

I it can't help you or you need some more help then install telegram and join Asus Zenfone Max M2 group and ask there me (my userid is JARVIS in telegram group)

[Q] Using thunderbolt on another network besides verizon??

I just got a thunderbolt from a mate of mine who came from US
i wanna ask is it possible for me to use the phone in my country which has only cdma 3G network?
I need some help in this matter as im facing alot of issues here
A) i was succesfully able to make and recieve calls, send sms's (but not recieve any sms weird??) but i am not able to activate mobile internet?
B) when i power on the device at the main unlock screen i recieve a msg stating "SIM CARD NOT RECOGNIZED" y is that so?
im pretty sure it has nothing to do with the phone being locked or un-lockd as my friend said to me that its unlockd.
Am i suppose to take it to my service provider and ask them to do some modem modification in order to get the 3G working?
would really aprreciate if anyone could help me with this.

yes it's totally possible, i'm live in semarang-indonesia and using local indonesian number on it.
but you need to inject yer cdma number onto the phone

whatsapp unable to connect??

I got my phone today I am facing problem with whatsapp when I am verifying my phone number a message show up ti says
"unable to connect. ask service Plaese check that you are connected to the internet and try again.please reboot your phone if your connection problem persists."
I am surely connected to the internet through out WiFi
so whats wrong with it ??

Not registered in network/ IMEI Null-null

hello all,
I'm having a problem with my S3 and I hope someone can help me..
My S3 already was rooted in the pass, but I unrooted it and this was like 6 months to 1 year ago.
Today I made some calls and after I went to lunch my phone was already broken and giving erros like "not registered in the network" or " movel network unvailable" ( I don't know if this is the right translate since I'm portuguese as well like my phone)
I try to take the IMEI code dial:

and it says Imei null/null like you can see in the image
I already try to use another sim cards and still not working. I put some images so you guys can see what is the problem

Edit: I tried call the 911 of portugal that is 112 and also don't work, it says "Area out of service" :/

Hangouts: MMS fails to download (T-Mobile USA)

Over the years on various devices and versions of Android and with various SMS apps, I have on rare occasions run into an issue where I cannot retrieve an MMS message from my carrier, which has almost always been T-Mobile USA.
The current example shows up like this in Hangouts:

Says "New MMS message to download: size is xxxxKB, expires on mm/dd, hh:mm. Message not downloaded. Tap to retry"
And when I try to "tap to retry", it claims to be downloading but always reverts to the above state:
Says "Downloading" for a short time
Definitely seems to happen when I had a weak signal at the point when I first received the MMS.
Any idea how to fix this? If I switch to a different default SMS app, will that app be aware of this un-downloaded MMS and give me an opportunity to download it, or will it be lost? Is this a carrier issue or a device issue? My device is rooted. Many people have posted all over the place about this issue but the answers are widely varied so there seems to be no clear solution. I have not messed with my APN settings. Most MMS are received without issue.
Note: Nexus 6P running 6.0.1 stock (rooted) with Hangouts 8.0.116581895

Need help with Internet error

Yesterday i tried to switch to CyanogenMod 14.1 and was booted successfully. But there was no fingerprint option in settings and no volte
So i flashed some files related to volte fixing and fingerprint fixing...but they didn't help...
Luckily i had made backup so i wiped data,dalvik,cache,internal storage and restored my current rom i.e havoc 9.0
Here fingerprint worked just fine,but there was some issue with my network, whenever i tried to make a call,it disappeared then it came back as soon as call ended automatically...i searched over internet and found there was some issue with my apn settings so i restored them and it worked...i was able to make calls and use internet...
But soon i noticed that i am not connected to internet fully,after some time i get disconnected to internet automatically I can't access anything except Google while the network bar shows internet is working...
I need to put my device in airplane mode and switch it back over and over again to make it working...
