I was following instructions from the How to Install TWRP Recovery on Xiaomi Mi A3 (laurel_sprout) post on the***********.com
I used the boot image for V11.0.19.0.QFQMIXM whereas my firmware version was V11.0.20.0.QFQMIXM. I flashed this image to boot_a and twrp to boot_b and now I am stuck in a bootloop. Please help.... This is the only phone I have.
Edit: Tried flashing the latest fastboot rom I could find online which was V10.3.13.0.PFQMIXM. It did not solve the issue.
Was able to find the correct version of the fastboot rom. Fixed the issue
is ur phn global? or Eu?
u must change slot to slot A.
and flash with Mi flash tool

Ok , So I finally was able to unlock my bootloader after getting that 50 % error, I thought that I'd flash miui 8 , so I downloaded the rom from official mi website and flashed it with twrp but for some reason I got stuck in a bootloop. I dont want to download fastboot rom as it takes a lot of time due to slow internet, so could anyone tell me how can i successfully flash a rom from twrp. I've got bot miui 8 chinese developer rom and global beta rom downloaded.
You need patched boot for normal twrp or u must use cofface twrp to flash the rom.
You cant flash stock rom via twrp without patched boot.img
And if you are flashing marshmallow rom u must know that the bootloader will lock itself again.
Why not just flash the miui.eu version? No boot image mess..

Edit : The recovery worked. Thanx.
where can I find a patched boot.img for latest chinese developer rom.Thanx for the fast reply.
Just use cofface recovery for stock roms:

I think that the Alca recovery do the same, but I haven't test it yet

Thanks. Problem solved.
Hey guys.
I'm using a 32/3GB kenzo with an unlocked bootloader running official rr mm.
I formatted the phone, flashed CM14 firmware, flashed the official RR nougat and GAPPS, then rebooted to system.
At this point, it started bootlooping, booting to the MI splashscreen, staying there for about half the time it usually does, before rebooting and repeating the process.
At this point, I was unable to access recovery, but was able to access fastboot and edl.
Flashing a recovery using the "fastboot flash recovery" command failed, so I assume that the partitions were corrupted.
I had to revert to MIUI by flashing through edl using MI flash, which fixed all the issues.
Can someone tell me what I did wrong?
Or should I follow the newbie guide 2.0 from the forums?
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Which recovery you uaed for flashing rr n. Because you went bootloop and recovery was not able to access that means may be some problems in recovery or either in rom/gapps zip. Make sure you are flashing gapps for NOUGAT only. And use latest stable miui firmware (not cm14 zip one although may be both are same)
Try this
1. Flash zcx recovery (I recommend this, never disappointed)
2. Flash latest miui stable firmware
3. Flash rom zip
4. Flash gapps n
Boot to system
5. Then flash kernel or anything.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try it soon. Can you tell me how to get the miui stable firmware?
Should I fastboot flash latest MIUI stable before flashing the ROM or is there a MIUI firmware zip file to flash?

There is flashable zip file which is extracted from miui rom only. So both way will be good as flash latest stable miui rom and then twrp > rom zip > gapps. Or twr0 > firmware zip (search in any custom rom thread you will get one) > custom rom zip > gapps.
Only benefit of flashing firmware zip is less time consuming and less file size (around 50mb) compare to full miui rom.

unlock your bootloader again it will run without problem..
Hi,
My phone : Redme Note 4 Global Edition 3/32 unlocked and rom developper.
My problem : I wanted to put TWRP and I did a MEGA bull****.
To install TWRP I did:
Fastboot flash boot recovery.img
instead of :
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
My phone starts systematically on TWRP... (It boots no more normally)
I have shot tempted one:
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
With the boot.img retrieved from the MIUI 9 archive 7.8.10 (mido_global_images_7.8.10_20170810.0000.00_7.0_global_239182c21e.tgz)
Now the phone shows me the logo miui indefinitely.
I still have access to Fastboot
Is it necessary to try with the boot.img of version MIUI 9 7.8.18 (installed version)? Can someone provide it to me?
If not, can anyone help me restore the boot without losing any facilities made?
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Hi,
Well I finally made a MiFlash with the option "flash_all_except_storage.bat" on the same flashboot ROM that was previously installed in my phone before my error. (MIUI 9 7.8.18).
The phone is OK.
I did not clean it : I hope it will not bug.
Regards.
When you've flashed TWRP when MIUI is installed you need to install lazyflasher with recovery. Without it MIUI will not boot with TWRP

Hello guys i ran through an issue and need help.
I own redmi k20 pro (indian version)
So,
I unlocked my boot loader(it was on miui 11.0.6 of indian version)
Used mi flash tool to flash global version rom of k20 pro of miui 11 (i ticked the flash and lock)
Updated it to miui 12 from ota
Got some bugs so again unlocked the bootloader
Now when i try to flash indian version rom to the Device it says mismatch image and device though my bootloader is unlocked .
Curiously it didn't said that when i flashed global version rom of k20 pro.
So i again waited to get the latest miui 12 fastboot rom of indian version to not to get tangled with anti roll back error. still no help because it still says mismatch error even when the indian rom is of version 12.0.2 .
Help me guys.
Why not completely erase everything on the phone before re-flashing, will say erase and/or format all it's partitions?
Example:
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot format system
fastboot format boot
fastboot format cache
fastboot format userdata
fastboot format recovery
fastboot flash-all <NEW-ROM-IMAGE>
fastboot reboot
What should i put on the new rom image . The location of the compressed fastboot rom? Or the individual images? .
After update eu rom to 12.5.3 from eu miu 11 via updater I lost recovery and after reboot device gets stuck at fastboot. Fastboot comand "fastboot continue" helps the device to boot to system from recovery. Everything else works fine. What's the solution to fix the issue with losing data. Thanks
Use the official Xiaomi program (MiFlash) and try to load the official firmware of your device (The latest version is 12.5.7, download the fastboot ROM from the following link: https://xiaomirom.com/en/rom/mi-not...#download-mi-note-10-lite-stable-fastboot-rom )
