Hi, im on México and I can't login on my bank app because I need to take a selfi for complete the login.
For some reason the app just go back into the start menu and don't let me to take the photo, I'm using the last build of Resurection Remix with Anx Camera and Go camera, rooted, safety passed and apps hided.
Maybe tha bank app is not taking the Anx or Go camera as default?
Any ideas?

I cannot get Google Assistant to work at all no matter what I do. Ive tried uninstalling the updates from the Google app and play services but nothing. I have android n-ify installed I also tried the Google Assistant xposed mod but nothing. Added the ro.opa.device_eligible=true line to the build prop but nothing. Even tried changing ro.device.model to Pixel XL but still no Google Assistant.
I constantly get now on tap when I long press home button im using existenz rom Marshmallow with Cyberian Camera Mod and pdesires yandre audio mod with all addons. Ive tried everything I could think of. On my z4 tablet the get Google Assistant app on the play store worked but its incompatible with Marshmallow. My Xperia sp on acip nougat had assistant right off the bat.
I just cannot get it to work on my Marshmallow Z2 I even did a clean install of my rom. Ive had it on here in the past using n-ify but when the Google app got an update it would go. Now I can't get ot at all. I would appreciate all the help thanks.

GA seems enable itself now by recognizing the location you are in now, you may want to switch your language or as well as your region settings to get GA working. On MM, I could have GA to work even without any build.prop or any other tools' help.

I live in the UK im sure it was said to work here on Marshmallow and nougat sorry I forgot to mention this. Like I have waited for it to enable but it hasnt. Done build.prop mods and everything and I still get now on tap and I have beta apps for both Google app and play service so im unsure what to do to get GA to work. Thanks for the suggestion but I also tried changing location to US and still nothing.
Remove Google Assistant enabler and clear Google app data, Install CCSWE App Manager from Playstore then open the app and search for Google app, press on Google Assistant and press show icon, now back to the home screen and search for the Google Assistant and launch it finish the setup and it should work with long press home, you can also hide the icon after it works.

Does anyone have a problem with random Google Photos freezing? For example when I swipe through gallery on full screen, sometimes it freezees and I have to restart the phone by long pressing the power button. It usually happens after watching movie recorded by Mate's camera and when I swipe to a next movie or photo.
It's really frustrating especially that I love using Google Photos app and I use it's cloud service. For now I have to switch to native gallery app and have my fingers cross for Huawei to allow to buy more than 5 GB of storage space in Huawei's cloud.
My Mate 10 Pro is from official distribution on the newest Huawei's software, Google Photo app is also up to date.

Same also have an issue where if you get a notification from Google photos and click on it it doesn't open the app
I cleaned Google photos app's data and it's been working well for some days. I hope it would stay this way, because - for me - it's the best cloud solution with the great app on market. I think it's a problem with Mate's software, or maybe with Oreo 'cause on my LG G4 with a previous Android's version it worked without problems.
Edit: after recording new movies the problem is here again...

I had problem today aswell went on to Google photos and they was there but was all greyed out had to turn fone off an on and it worked again
Also does anyone know how often themes store updates with new themes

You can leave a feedback from inside the google photos app, I just did that. Maybe it helps.
Im taking it upon my self to inform you (for those unaware) that there was an update for the Google camera app. You can download it via apkmirror I couldn't get the camera to work after installing even after clearing cache and data for the app it's self and for play services so I went and downloaded the new play services beta version as well then once again cleared cache and data for both installed apps and rebooted and it worked perfectly. Are you sure the Google Camera 5.2 is capable to Nexus 6P? After installing it the HDR+ function is unusable. I have come back to 5.1.

Try NX camera 7.4 for Google camera. I believe it's 5.2 and you get portrait mode.
After stoping installation on Google Camera, and some others app, after no rooting, no bootloader, they start stopping installation Aptoide Market and APKPure. How is this possible? I didnt get updated form Huawei, im still one 158 updated. And till this day I update Aptoide Market every week. Now they pop-up message that Huawie IT didn't allow to install this application.
What is Huawei doing? Is Huawei starting to make "China Wall" in online world? This is very bad choise for Huawei...

The google camera (aka pixel camera) will never work on the main mate 20 camera. Gcam is not setup to operate with pixel binning so until google implement that on there own device its a no go
If your ROM hasn't been updated then Google Play Protect or the security part of the phone manager app might have blocked the install. Do you have allow app installs from unknown sources enabled in the settings?
Or do you have the Chinese version of the phone rather than one of the international variants?
If your phone is carrier locked your carrier could also be the one blocking the install. There can be differences in the OS between locked and unlocked versions of the phone.
I have the same problem. I can not install any APK and the phone is up to date. What to do?
