i want to buy moto razr, berfore that i need to know that is it really worth buying this one now, when samsing is coming up with a really strong lineup of devices, any advice?
The new razr 5g completely blows this one. You should get that one. It has nicer specs
Don't buy a Samsung

I'm sure this has been asked quite a bit but I'm just trying to nail down which one to get. Basically I just hit my upgrade date and was planning on a DInc2 until a verizon rep told me I would be grandfathered in for unlimited data at the same price, and he claimed that would include 4G (can anybody confirm?) so I decided to go the 4G route and either get the bionic or thunderbolt.
As i see it the bionic destroys the thunderbolt spec-wise, but am wondering if things like a dual core processor or 1080vs720 will ever be noticeable? I owned both a nexus 1 and droid X previously and have handled a few other phones from moto and HTC and have always found the HTC offerings much nicer built. I guess I really want to go with the t-bolt, but don't wanna regret buying a phone with last-year specs.
opinions?
Man get the bionic. The thunderbolt has outdated hardware.

Even as compared to new releases like th RAZR and Nexus, I would still say that you can't go wrong with the Bionic. It is solic hardware and with the latest update, it is running well. The only limitation is that there is not al ton of development going on with it.
Why is the less powerful Motorola Droid Bionic $299 (with 2 yr contract) only available for Verizon where the faster, more powerful Samsung Galaxy S2 is available at AT&T for $199 (with 2 yr contract)? In fact, the only thing that I've seen that the Bionic offers that the S2 doesn't is that the 4g LTE. and is that really worth the extra $100 that I'm paying for the Bionic? or is Motorola coming out with something in the near future that will actually compare to the Galaxy S2? Any advice on this matter would be nice (I'm currently a Verizon user, thus the conflict)
bump bump bump
DROID RAZR is a thinner Bionic with some system bumps. does that fall into your category of "competing?"
That phone looks exactly like what I was looking for but I still have a few issues with it. I've noticed the higher processor speed, and the talk time is definitely worth talking about (where I believe the galaxy s2 only gets like 8.5 hours of talk time) so the razr definitely seems like a worth while buy. My biggest question is, does this phone have the voice compatibility that the galaxy s2 boasts? And also, Verizon is still sticking to the $299 price tag, do you know why or have any ideas as to why they sell their phones so high, even with a 2 year contract?
IIRC, the Razr is going to be a global phone.
and they price it that way for pure profit. because they can.
I am going to HK just in 2 days and going to buy there Motorola Droid Razr on my birthday It seems that there also will be available a lot of accessoiries for this phone, which will you recommend? Are theses lapdocks and watches worth it?
Not sure about the watch thing but the lapdock100 is worth it IMO.
I'm planning on upgrading from my Nexus S soon and am torn between these two phones. Both would be bought outright ($350 v. ~$610) I'm leaning towards the GNex but would appreciate insight from GS3 owners.
LOL your username used to be my xbox live name
I personally think the Galaxy Nexus has been the best phone for me but the black clipping Amoled issue was too much for me. The gs3 doesn't have that issue but outside of that, of you don't need to have the GS3 for bragging reasons etc... I would go for the galaxy nexus. It's a worthy upgrade to your nexus s and you're ensuring you're first in line for software updates.
In reality it's not that much better except I'd never buy a Nexus phone because they never have a memory slot, but if that doesn't bother you it really can hold it's own against S3 in day to day use.
I bought a Razr M, and I like the phone... but I've read all sorts of horror stories about it having poor reception. I am looking to replace my Inc2, which is a good phone but has always gotten terrible reception... I live out in the country, so reception is my biggest concern.
So my question is - Should I go ahead and have the M flashed to PagePlus (my carrier) or should I sell it and look for a Maxx? Im looking to stay under $200 for a phone, so I can't afford the HD. The Galaxy S3 gets bad reception I hear, and I can't afford a S4, I thought about an Inc4 but I'd like to go with a non-HTC this time.
Thanks if you can help... I'm ready to move into another phone but I want the word of the experts before I make the jump.
