I am a noob i want to develop a kernel for my phone lenovo p2 it has snpadragon 625 (msm8953)
Idk how to compile and do oc and undervolting on kernels can someone plz help me out i have seen other kernels like for mi a1 it is overclocked to 3ghz with gpu 1.6ghz (jealous moment) but on p2 the kernels were abandoned very fast and there are no updates anymore so i want to create one but i need help of some dev or someone who knows this kinda stuff. Please anyone can help out here
I have installed ubuntu and the kernel source but idk how to move on further any dev plz help me out with the kernel.
I also saw many tutorials but didnt get anything.

I found 4.4.2 kernel source code can anyone build for me the ROM from that kernel cause I do not have laptop yet
And I want that kernel so much and when I tried to flash it nothing happened and it did not flash

I use a Slide Wiko and wanted to ask if you can use any kernel for the Android version 4.2.2 or it must be a determiner? I had before my little wiko slide a little overclocking.

If you want any custom rom for your device you have to port it from another device having same kernal and specs. If you want to know how to port a rom you can search it on xda site it will help you alot thanks... Hope it will help you
