Hide app overlays on HDMI out - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I am trying to showcasing something from Android to HDMI out. I do use another app as overlays (display over other app), but I just want showcase the particular app not the whole screen. Is there anyway I can do it?
Rooted, Android 10. More like making HDMI to show one particular app, instead of the whole screen.
If it's not possible yet I want to hire someone who can do it with rewards of $100. Thanks.

[Q] New Android app?

My friend and I have decided to make an app. We recently found an idea that suits us. We would like to build an app that does the equivalent of LG's Wise Screen. This keeps the screen on while the app detects your face. This app would always be running in the background to keep the screen on. We would like to develop this using html5 and phonegap, so that it would be easy to put on other OS's. Is this a good idea and is it possible to do? Will people get it? We are planning to have it be 99 cents or 1.99.
Thanks

[Q] Modifying an Android OS to auto start an application masking all the Andriod UX

Im thinking about ordering a bunch of Android dongles from China, I have an Android app that I want to install on each of those and I want to give that dongles to my clients.
The thing is, my clients are not technical users, I want them just to plug that dongle on their TV and when it power on, my app starts, no android loading/splash screen (I want my own loading animation) and no Android UX (like the lock screen, the lower bar and so), I want the dongle to looks like i was made only for my app.
How can I archived this? Do you know any other solutions like this one? Thanks!

On-Demand TV app "External display output is blocked" with Pad Station

I am specifically having a problem with the Sky Q (UK) app, but this problem is likely not exclusive to it.
Sky are so anal about blocking people using TVs attached to their tablets, that it seems to also block the Padfone station.
It would be frustrating but bearable if I could only use it in phone mode, but unfortunately it's a Pad-only app (presumably due to DPI)
I have tried some xposed framework mods for HDMI hiding, and the HDMI virtual switch, but it still happens.
Does anyone know of a way around this problem, maybe from another on-demand app?
Sky do seem to have very well informed engineers writing their blocking code, as most root methods are detected even when hidden
It wouldn't surprise me if they are checking the physical hardware status rather than what the system/kernel reports.
If it's impossible to solve this problem for the Station, does anyone know of a per-app DPI switcher so I might be able to use it on my phone at least?
UPDATE: I tried App Settings for xposed, but it won't launch the app, so it never gets a chance to change the DPI... is there a way to make the app work on phones?
Many Thanks.

Control Android tablet remotely

Hi, I bought a cheap tablet on aliexpress, a bmxc brand. It has good specs and works fine. My Father is 93 and has nearly lost his eyesight. I want to give him the tablet so he can use google talkback and do things with it e.g. play music. As he is 500 miles away I want to be able to control it remotely to help him with it. I have tried quite a few things and nothing works, MS remote desktop doesn't work, airdroid doesn't work. Teamviewer doesn't work because there is no "quick support" app for my particular tablet.
I'm a programmer but have never done any Android development. Does anyone have any idea of what it would take to write a Teamviewer quick support app for my tablet?
Also does anyone know if Android has any generic way of programmatically generating a mouse click/ finger press on a screen. It seems like it doesn't otherwise there wouldn't be any need for a device specific quick support app for Teamviewer.

Ready for Motorola Edge + (2020) question

I was hoping that someone can help me with a couple of Ready For questions:
Wanting to try out Ready For PC that is present in the newer Motorola phones, does anyone know if it is possible get the APK and try it out? This phone does wired Ready For just fine when used with an external display.
I also wonder if anyone has any app recommendations or knows of any apps that allow the use of widgets on the Ready For desktop when connected to an external display? I really like being able to dock my phone and use the phone simulator on the display while opening up another app or two to use while working, but I think using the standard desktop widgets would be killer. I have tried a few apps meant for DeX without much luck, the only one that has been useful is SecondScreen to change the density of my 3200x1800 14" touch display that I am using with the phone.
