I find the V60 hands-free speakerphone volume during call (via Skype call, Whatsapp call, Zoom call, etc.) is too low. I have compared to Huawei M20x, Sony Xperia 1 ii, Black Shark 3, etc. and they are way louder. Using the V60 speakerphone to play from Spotify or watching Netflix is loud enough, but strangely during calls it is not. Is there any way to fix this? Appreciate any suggestions as I really like this phone.

I have a non-rooted Asus Zenfone 5 with recent OTA firmware. When I attempt a normal voice call or Skype call the microphone is muted i.e. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me.
Other microphone related activies such as Sound Recorder, Google voice search and Keep voice note work fine. Using a microphone headset doesn't make any difference.
I've searched through every setting imaginable and tried a few mute apps from Google Play and no luck.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Hi guys/gals
Does anyone know of a way to lower the volume of the loud speaker on a android device.
In this case a Meizu MX4.
Even at the lowest settings its still way too loud.
This problem is with all applications that uses the loud speaker while in a call IE: Phone/Kakoatalk/Hangouts etc.
Im not sure if anyone knows of a xposed module or if its possible to change the audio_policy.conf or something else in the phone.
I am rooted and xposed works fine for 90% of the modules.
As you can imagine its annoying to have to use headphones all the time whilst being in a video call on Hangouts.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
I have a Xperia Mini ST15i with Carbon KitKat 4.4.4 ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2577517 ) which was a call recorder feature. After enabling it, when I press record during a call I hear a constant loud high pitch noise. Not just me but the other person too.
The call does get recorder but you can't hear anything due to the high pitch noise and also because it's impossible to have a call with that loud noise constantly in your hear lol.
I installed a few call recording apps and none record and the only one that was able to also triggered that loud constant high pitch noise.
Is almost feels like some sort of protection but it's really annoying. Any ideas what this is and how to stop it?
i've got a Samsung S10 5G and I want to disable the earpiece speaker for all audio other then phone calls is this possible? it's configured out of the box to use both the speaker on the bottom and the one for taking calls to play music and video to make it sound like left and right speakers but the earpiece speaker make the chassis vibrate so much and hurts my hands after a few videos at comfortable and higher volumes... I just want audio to come out of the bottom speaker... I've searched all the settings but nothing disables the earpiece speaker even mono audio... any suggestions? I just want the chassis to stop vibrating when I turn up the volume and this is what I have come to find because my S8 never had vibrating chassis from speaker because it didn't use earpiece speaker for videos and music like my S10 5G
Hey I have a problem with my top speaker on my mate 20 pro. The problem is low on call sound. I have tested the top speaker with Audio Tester app and top speaker works great when playing music or youtube videos etc. But when I call someone or accepted incoming call the volume on top speaker is very very low like I can barely hear voice. Loudspeaker and earpiece also works great while oncall.
Are there any settings to solve this problem.
