Hey everyone ! Samsung has recently released a new module on Good Lock to customize the Samsung keyboard called Keys Café.
Unfortunately for those who bought one of the S10 series in Hong Kong it isn't available yet, and even by downloading the apk of Keys Café, the keyboard customized don't apply to the keyboard.
My S10 is running OneUI 2.5 and the latest version of the Samsung keyboard. The Samsung keyboard from the HK variant is a bit different from the international version of the Samsung Keyboard. That may explain why the apk doesn't work on the Samsung keyboard from the HK variant.
Did anyone using one of the S10 series bought in Hong Kong happen to have got Key Café working ?
anyone?
Guys, I have the same problem, and I believe it is simply impossible to make it work, unless good lock would be officially available in HK. We should just wait and hope.

Anyone know the spec for the AU galaxy s II?
E.g. exynos? or tegra? Nfc or no nfc?
Current ones are Optus branded apparently. Exynos with no NFC.
The current ones are the same as the European version, meaning they have the very same features as the UK version (Super Amoled Plus, Exynos, no NFC).
Apart from the Korean version no other regional version supports NFC right now (with the only exception being the Indian version which is due for release tomorrow).
If I was in Australia I'd probably go for the Indian version as it has the same specs as the European version (Super Amoled plus, Exynos) plus an NFC chip integrated.
Even if you don't need NFC at all, having NFC on board will certainly increase your resale value which is quite useful when you'll sell it on ebay in a couple of months because of the Galaxy S III's upcoming release
Anyone have info on the upcoming one by vodafone au?
I actually like to have nfc as well...
Yesterday Samsung dealer told me after confirming with Samsung Representative that NFC will get active on SGS2 Indian version after Nov. 2011 software update and hardware is included in the SGS2 Indian version.
Activate ? How exactly ? i don't think this is true.Got mine today and The Indian SGS 2 DOES NOT have the NFC.Cheers.
hi, i am looking to buy my dad a S4 mini DUOS I9192, but i have a few concerns, mainly regarding samsung region lock stuff:
- i live in canada, and my dad needs to travel to china for work. so while i guess i can test the phone here in canada to make sure it works in north america region by making a 5 min call locally, i cannot guarantee that the phone will be region locked when my dad travels to china. is it possible to check beforehand (in settings etc) whether the phone is region locked without putting a foreign sim card in?
- probably will be buying the phone on ebay, most sellers are shipping from US or hong kong. how will i know which region the phone is locked to?
- i read that there is some region lock away app by chainfire available, but i cannot find the app in google play. can someone point me to the right direction regarding where i can find the app? does it actually work and future-proof if we update the firmware?
TIA
Hello, this is the thread for discussing where to buy this phone and other important info like that

Hi everyone. I'm an American who lived in China for a long time, and bought a Samsung Note 20 5G (SM-G9810) a few months before I moved back to the US last year. Yesterday, the touchscreen stopped working, so I'm only able to use it via the stylus. I tried *#2663# to update the TSP FW, but the version as "NA" and won't update. I backed up everything to my PC and was going to try a factory reset.
The official Samsung store I bought it from in Shenzhen told me it had no restrictions on Google apps and would be 100% customizable, but that ended up not being the case; the search functions and everything else on it defaults to Baidu or other Chinese services, news updates are all from Xinhua in Chinese, extolling the unassailable greatness of Xi Jinping Thought, etc. I put all the Google apps on, but some of the integration is lacking and it has always had some annoying little hiccups, and some of the bloatware that it came with can't be removed.
I noticed the HK and Taiwan versions of the Note 20 5G are the same model code and also use the same chipset (9810 with Snapdragon, vs G981F/B/etc with Exynos for the rest of the world), and the updates for the 9810 are available for those three places. Am I correct in thinking that if I reset it with the HK or Taiwan firmware via Odin, then I shouldn't have to deal with Mainland bloatware and apps, since they don't have the same regional restrictions?
I'm thinking about buying an N9860, did you ever get this figured out?
