Hello,
I am using Solid Explorer and can't figure out where does it store temporary file when I access file inside archived .RAR file without extracting it first. Anyone can tell me?
The temporary file still remains after I close the archive and I need it to be removed.
Thanks.

Maybe under android/data or root/data/data

I was told it's in Solid Explorer's folder located in /android/data/ and it was there.

When I try to flash the stockclock.zip file using the new CWM it says that Amend scripting is no longer supported. Does anybody know how I would could get this installed?
Open the zip file usin astro file manager. Copy the clock.apk (might be named deskclock.apk) then place it in your sdcard where you know Where its located. Use root explorer to copy it to the system/app directory. Rename your old clock.apk to something like clock.bak in case you ever need to go back to it.

Anyone else have issues using Root Explorer to edit files??
Trying to modify the /system/build.prop file in order to see if I can get the Netflix app to work. I purchased Root Explorer so I can edit some lines of the file. For some reason, I cannot save any of the changes. I tried on other files, and as soon as I leave and come back...the file goes back to its original state.
I've tried: copy, pasting and deleting files works. I am ensuring that I have Mount R/W selected to enable writing. I contacted Root Manager support and they suggested I try changing the permissions on the folder “/data/data/com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer/files” to 777. No luck.
I have also attempted using the free file manager app "ES File Explorer" without any luck.
Try using Ghost Commander. Take some time to get used to it but its a solid app.

Guyz help ive been searching through XDA but coudlnt find any specific answer bout
this, when i try to boot my phone a 'logo.jpg' draw failed in the screen..
can someone give me the stock splash screen logo?
I've had the same problem after a major flash-attack
Use your preferred file explorer with root access, and navigate to /.lfs
If you can't see the folder, enter the file explorers settings-menu and set it to show hidden files
Look in this folder and see if you have a file called l0g0.jpg
If you have this file, copy (not move) it to your sdcard, and rename the copy to logo.jpg
Now copy the renamed (logo.jpg) file back to /.lfs
Reboot, and enjoy
I recommend you to use Solid Explorer or ES File Explorer

[q] how i remove that It is only on the home screen
Requirement:
ROOT access is needed.
Solution:
Tools Needed:
Root Explorer or Solid Explorer
Steps :
1. Using root explorer locate the /efs/imei/ folder.
In that folder there should be a file called keystr. the file should be missing in your case.
2. using root explorer create a new file called keystr
3. also in root explorer open the file keystr in text editor and type ON
4. make sure you save the file.
5. reboot.
Thanks for the help but I tried that and it did not work

Simply goto sdcard/android/then you should see folder named data.
Also there should be a folder called obb.
If you dont see that folder then just create one and you place the .obb file in that folder

i have the same problem.. so this occurs in version 4.2.1? My galaxy s4 gives me error also transfer files from pc to /sd/android/obb. The only way for you to by modify the permission of this file is to root the phone and use AntTek explorer.
Actually, in 4.2 JB, the multiuser directory structures make it different.
The obb info now has a folder outside of the /storage/emulated/sdcard0/0/Android/obb folder.
using a root enabled explorer, navigate to /data/media/obb , and paste the contents there.

I am running supernexus rom 4.2.2.....went to /sdcard/android....made a folder named obb and pasted my obb file.
Used root explorer as my file browser app. Worked in first go for me. Try and let me know your response.
I Got a Problem here, Where I Tried The Method using the File Explorer to move the files, It Works But The Game Isn't Running.. It fade out instead of running the game.. I'm using Galaxy SIII 4.2.2 Leak..
I did all the steps on my htc one android 4.3 ( unrooted device) when i run the game it asks to download the file. does anyone know why its not working on my phone? do i need to root
It must go on internal sdcard. For example, for Layton Brothers Mystery Room it goes like that:
Code:
/storage/sdcard0/Android/obb/com.Level_5.MysteryRoomENG/main.6.com.Level_5.MysteryRoomENG.obb
