Hi,
the Google Play System update of my Mi A3 isnt updated and stuck on Nov 2019.
I tried to manually update this but the updater means that it is on actual patch/update.
My phone is on latest stock V11.0.22.0.QFQMIXM, unlocked and rooted with Magisk.
The Google Play Store is certified !
Anyone who can check what patch level is on theirs.
And maybe someone has an idea how to correct that (because i'm sure the is a newser update available)
or how to force this.
If someone dont understand what i mean -> https://www.howtogeek.com/686927/wh...em-updates-on-android-and-are-they-important/
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/main-components/
meanwhile i got the same information over at telegram group
anyway ... thanks
one more question.
Does manually update has any disadvantages or negative side effect ?

Hi, all!
This is my very first post. Not even sure if there's a solution to this, tried searching but probably my keywords didn't exactly hit it.
I have a Huawei P9 Lite. I just received the OTA update for Nougat Beta with build number VNS-L31C636B331. My previous build was VNS-L31C636B170. I received the OTA update after I registered to become a beta tester. The installation was successful, things went running smoothly until I noticed my VPN app was closing when my phone is locked (even when I had it set to run after screen-lock). It got so annoying until I decided to reformat my phone. Things are running fine again, but some system or stock Huawei apps are missing, like calendar, clock, and calculator, to name a few.
Is there a way to download and reinstall these apps? And if so, are the downloadable apps already designed for Nougat on Huawei? Or are they from Marshmallow?
If there is no way to download stock apps, can I ask help to downgrade to Marshmallow? I'm planning to downgrade, and then tick back the Nougat update again from settings.
Thank you so much, guys!

If you want it as clean as possible and free from Googles apps (Play store hugs a lot of resources and bandwidth reporting back lots of stuff to Google) then probably LOS16 without flashing GAPPS. If you intend to use Google apps, then maybe Pixel Experience ROM.

Hello everyone one. Somebody Help me pls
2 days ago I updated my honor 8x(jsn-l22) to android 9 and it was awful. I didn't like so I decided to downgrade to 8.1. I used hisuite to downgrade but the speed of downloading was really bad so I couldn't do it. So I gave it to someone to do it. He flashed the official (8.1.0 oreo) with some tool and when the flashing operation was in 99% it faced with an error user data part. And now my phone is running Android 8.1 but not correctly. The build number is changed to this
(chipset-miamic20 8.2.0.001(00X4)) and system UI is totally different and I don't know what to do now.
We tried to flash other versions but actually nothing is able to be flashed. It comes with error even at the first step of flashing. Every ROM we tried flashing all were unsuccessful and came with error.
Please if there is any way to fix this problem, let me know
The phone is stocked in this ROM.
Here is a screen shot of about device. I'm really disappointed HELP PLEASE.

I did a full downgrade this more to oreo using hisute after the successful downgrade I then proceeded to use the tools to install Google play and services on the device after installation was complete I rebooted the device once it started back up I tried to laignch the play store which refused to proceed from the sign in screen.
Tried that and still having issues not really sure what would be the next step to get the service to work.

Update I was successful in getting it to work after the downgrade I used the GMSanzhuangqi.apk. Prior to me starting the process of trying to get the google apps to work I initially installed the GMSanzhuangqi.apk and didn't run it per instructions. I installed the Google installer v2 and let it do its thing once that was done I rebooted and it didn't work play store or Google services didn't work either I was getting a blank white screen opened it and installed it. it will manually remove the google apps you may have manually installed before once that done the phone will automatically reboot once I has been rebooted use the Appgalery select China region from the setting and search for Google play store and install it. That's it hope this helps some one else. :good:

I don't really know I gave it to someone else. And he did it. Is there any hope I can fix it.
I'm still using it like that. I'm afraid maybe it will be soft or hard breaked?

I have upgraded my honor 8x(Chinese ROM, JSN AL00) from 8.2.0.165 to 8.2.0.175 using HiSuite. But since then my google apps are not working. Tried to roll back from .175 to .165 but HiSuite doesn't have that roll back option available anymore.
Can anyone please help me? It is really an emergency!
guys, if you still care. huawei mate 20 lite sne-lx1 Kirin 710 after debrand from C781 to C432. died . with DC Phoenix and HCU I made Board Firmware + C432 firmware but it became hybrid. looks like Android 7, CPU application detects Android 8 and as build number: chipset-miamic20 8.2.0.001 (01xp) model FAY. They suggest me to install NV - but I don't know what it is. I have no original backup. If it stays that way - do google play, services, gmail work? thanks for any advice.
Hi , I had a motorola g5s plus with android 7.1 for a long time , just before the official release of android 8.1 for the device in my country i downloaded a rom from a youtube link for my device it was titled as official rom .( it said it was a rom from country which the offical updates were released few days before in my country).
Instructions to install the rom were fairly simple , i just had to grant the updater the permission to access storage in my phone then paste the rom into the internal storage of my device and then normally go check in the updater of my device and it showed updates available .
so i did everything, updates were installed normally and never actually experienced any bug whatsoever . Also i regularly got security updates from lenovo/motorola through OTA.
FYI - i never rooted or unlocked my device's bootloader it was completely stock device .
My question is are there chances that the rom i installed from an unknown source might be hampered? or cracked in someway it is completely safe to use my phone?
this may be a silly question , i am sorry if it is but i really know very less about these things , please guide me. thank you in advanced.
@Dante18 Give the Link to the YouTube video.
@lucki1000
i can't actually find that video on youtube . i was just wondering if anyone ever tried to hamper or crack official OTA package would it still Install on a completely Stock device and still get regular updates as in form of OTA from Lenovo/Motorola?

This definitely works on the latest firmware 10.1.0.155
Is there a confirmed way to get Google Maps to work fully and with voice prompts?

Hello,
I have a P40 pro Plus with the buid 10.1.0.156 (C432E2R3P3).
I used the following method to downgrade to version 10.1.0.132 :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2b_lBPc-Hk
and for install GMS:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Lcqonl2ejs&feature=youtu.be
The only downside is that it is not possible to update the version afterwards, but it works while waiting for a possible commercial release from the USA.
Hi, I have tried RedSkull's latest guide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLzeYQ9YHVI) to install google services on P40 Pro Plus (10.1.0.155), but after trying multiple times, it was not successfull. Then what I did was to follow RedSkull's guide till account creation and launching of the blue G App (pressing the blue button and let it run in the background), and then I start following the @eloygomezTv guide from that step. Only change I did was before installing the Google Play Services (from EloYGomeZTv files), I uninstalled the microG. And then I followed the guide from EloYGomeZTv with his files and viola, I was able to install it. It took me two tries though.
Hi everyone,
now I am in LGRP6 10.1.0.144 (C432E2R3P3) and the smartphone offers me to make the updates (I do not do so as not to lose the GMS)
I used the following method to upgrade of version 10.1.0.132 to version 10.1.0.144 :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2b_lBPc-Hk
and now my smartphone offers me to make the updates (I dont do so as not to lose the GMS)
Do you have the maps in the apps?
I have no maps displayed but a message telling me “update google play services” and nothing more.
