hello
I want use my HP ELITE to test copy and use RFID and NFC (open doors, my new car)
Any of you have a software for this?
I have NCF Kits install, but's can't copy
I think that any app cant handle the data encryption.
i has view this for nfc
codeproject.com/Articles/144063/A-NET-MiFare-Helper-Class

Is there an app out there that we can write/config NFC tgas to launch apps, wifi, Bluetooth etc?
I wouldn't mind getting some and putting them around the house & car!

I've used NFC Interactor to write tags, I think it's a dollar or two. Just so you know apparently there is a windows phone limitation where it can't format tags. In my case I had to use a friends android tablet for that. I don't think there is a way to toggle wifi/bluetooth at the moment and it might not be possible with the SDK. But you can definitely start apps or phone settings if you find the GUID for it.

that's a bit of a shame!
Found some useful links!

NFC tags, is there a good reliable place to get blank tags (no graphics on them) in Canada? I've been looking around on the net for the plastic ones but all I can find are paper ones or ones with company or product logos. Any recommendations are welcome.
NFC Publisher
Hi all
I've downloaded NFC Publisher but haven't tested it yet.
God bless

Hey XDA,
First poster here...
Is there and app for android NFC capable phones that lets the phone scan the card (Say , a bus card with an NFC chip) and stores the information, so when you next go on the bus, you can launch the app and simulate the card, and scan it over the bus scanner thing?
As far as I know, their are 3 types of nfc functionality: card reader, p2p transfer and card simulation. The first two are used widely, but the last, card simulation, requires a standard, which is not settled for now, before google put appropriate api into android and apps can be made.
From my searches Dr Google has told me its not possible, but I thought I would ask anyways. Can I scan my prox badge for work using my cell phone and then use my phone to emulate that card? From what I read NFC is an offshoot of RFID, so I would think its possible.

i do not believe these will code most standard RFID badges or emulate them correctly. i put RFID reader and lock solenoids in my car so unless the proper RFID chip is near the reader, the doors will not unlock and the car will not start. i was actually looking at doing something like this with NFC and the stereo.
I just watched this video, my dreams of being able to copy the prox badge have got to be possible?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjfc60LGjik
if they are able to proxy, I would think you could also save that data and just push it back out...that or I am fully misunderstanding how this works which is also very possible.
I got some NFC based membership cards I would like to have in my phone, so I don't have to bring the cards.
Is there an app that can just read them and send the selected information out again?
Can I also just copy a member card into one of those small NFC smart tags and use them instead?
Or doesn't it work this way?
I use Cards app to store NFC cards. It supports emitting the same over NFC when needed.
Hope this helps.
Well I can't add anything there, my phone just asks me to open it with Tasker or "new tag detected", the Cards app is not getting the data.
Hi,
my Google Pixel 6 works fine with the "MIFARE Classic" tool and "NFC tools".
Chips, Tags, Credit Cards and insurance cards all work fine.
For some reason some "access control tags" I use to enter special buildings or to disable the alarm, cannot be read by the pixel 6. I guess these are protected.
I wonder if a 40$ NFC reader might be able to read these protected ones ?
I also tried the old "Mifare DESFire EV1 4k" and others, but according to google a "cheap NFC tag reader" might work here ?
Or does protected mean protected ?
