So I think I have a new one here! I magically was able to flash EMUI 9.0 and then 9.1 onto my SHT-W09 432. I have previously rooted the device so recovery doesn't really exist anymore. I received a notice to upgrade the firmware on the device so I tried to do that via HiSuite using the correct firmware that was being announced via OTA. The installation technically failed, but I got no warnings at all. The device rebooted and everything seems to work. I then tried to install several other firmware builds to see if I could get one to stick. None of them did.
This is when I decided I would try to boot into Fastboot and then flash the firmware from my PC like I had previously done on my P20 Pro. When I tried to boot into Fastboot, I got a big white screen stating that software failed to install. No Fastboot commands worked.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or direction?
At this point i think you should did a full factory reset, restoring firmware 9.1.0.335 (this is the latest firmware of own Mediapad M5 wifi 8").
I cannot tried it, i know there is an eRecovery mode but i don't know what it does.

well i updated my nexus 9 through OTA update to android 6.0 couple days ago, then i had some battery issue.
So then i tried to flash cm12.1
what i did was, i unlock my device flash TWRP 2.8.7.0, then i got this corrupted message upon rebooting my device.
i did some research(i should've done it before doing anything:silly, it seems like it's something about the force encryption?
i tried almost every guide on xda here, flash de-crypted boot, flash stock recover, flash stock rom, adb sideload function is not working, nothing seems to work?
it seems like nothing can write onto my device as long as it's encrypted?
it works fine now, just wondering if there's a way i can properly de-crypt my device in this state and go back to 5.1.1 or CM12.1
Thanks
TWRP has just been update to 2871 and can now read encrypted partitions. Install this new TWRP.

Hi guys,
yesterday I succesfully unlocked bootloader on my Mate 10 PRO (Bla-L09) and installed LineageOS 15.1 with success.
The problem is that now I just want to recover my stock firmware on it.
I downloaded the update.zip from the site (for my branded phone) and it was C55 version but I don't know how to repair it. Just tried to reflash stock recovery and start recovery mode but with no success. Installation hang on 5% and then phone reboots automatically.
Already tried to flash SYSTEM.img (from Huawei Update Extractor) with fastboot: it flashes correctly but im impossible to boot the devices.
I am sure that I do something wrong. Can you help me please?
Hi,
Where have you found original stock rom. It is my impression that it is not available. Could you please provide a link?
Thanks

After flashing back stock system.img you need to Factory Reset in stock recovery. Alternatively use HWOTA: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/guide-mate-10-flash-oreo-update-package-t3716814
Always make a Twrp backup of your rom so you don't have to worry about flashing back like this.Thats what I do and I have never had a issue.
Hello all, so I've unlocked the bootloader via dc unlock, installed TWRP ,flashed multiple treble roms via TWRP and fastboot but my device isn't going into the android system.... I'm stuck at the screen where it says your phone can't be trusted and on some roms it'll get a black screen but the device will read if typed"adb devices" on adb, custom and system recovery and bootloader are working fine but every rom I try flashing won't boot. I even opted to downloading firmware via the Huawei firmware finder but when I look for the LND-AL40 8.0.0.325C(00) which is my build number it's no longer available on their server. I'd like to know if flashing another related firmwares say LND-AL40 8.0.0.221C(00) will work for my phone. ALSO please help on why it's not booting into system or giving a black screen I've followed most of the procedures from various tutorials about flashing treble roms. PLEASE HELP
Well great. Device soft bricked. Bootloops endlessly. Can get into fastboot but the moto recovery tool thinks it’s fine and will not do a recovery. I was trying to downgrade from stock a11 to 10 but obviously failed Thinking the recovery tool would bring back to stock. I even put the imie number in and the software still thinks I have the latest firmware but I can’t force it to recover anyway. Help please
Got it back by downloading the latest stock a11 firmware and manually flashing in fastboot so I’m back to stock. Question is can I install any custom rom at all?
Title.
After playing around with root and some custom ROMs i wanted to return to OOS, I had a few troubles doing that but eventually I succeeded.
I still wanted to have root access though so I tried going to flash TWRP, but was met by the message "serial_mismatch" followed by a system reboot.
This is persistent, regardless off physically trying to boot in to bootloader or through adb.
Fastbootd works, I can flash stuff with success but it seems like it doesn't actually flash since I can't boot into TWRP after flashing it in fastbootd.
I tried mtkclient, both on windows and on livedvd, my device gets found but on windows I get handshake failed until it ultimately reboots and on livedvd it gets stuck on "trying kamakiri2" endlessly.
Also, my safetynet check fails, even though I am on stock everything without root!
Any thoughts on what I can do here?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Hi there, what version of OxygenOS are you currently using?
Currently on 12.1 latest update (DN2013_11_C11). I tried the downgrade packages but as I can't access recovery or fastboot I can't downgrade either.
Please try this method: https://community.oneplus.com/thread/1596759 After downgrade you will have option to relock your phone and safetynet should pass. Let me know if it helped.
Thanks, already tried that but it fails to rollback as well
