Redmi Note 5 both versions; Pro and AI have the same forum so any of all roms are atleast almost suitable for both, it would present some bugs with camera so the main difference is the front facing camera: 20mp (Pro) and 13mp (AI).
But this forum is for a different device: Redmi 5 Plus vince that has an only camera.
Moderators added new ones such as https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...o-international-model-general-and-development but still did not move all Joyeuse threads there. It only adds more confusion I think. What's your opinion?
I have a 9 pro global ... and im still tying to figure out what kind of roms are compatible ... i found :
Xiaomi Note 9 Pro (M2003J6B2G Global version) 6GB RAM
Xiaomi Note 9 Pro (M2003J6B2G Global version) 6GB RAM
Xiaomi Note 9 Pro (M2003J6A1I India version) 6GB RAM
Xiaomi Note 9 Pro (M2003J6A1I India version) 4GB RAM
Xiaomi Note 9S (M2003J6A1G Global version) 6GB RAM
Xiaomi Note 9S (M2003J6A1G Global version) 4GB RAM
the India versions dont have NFC and only a 48 mp Camera.
If the DEv's would write the compatible hardware id in the first post it would really help everybody ...

I wouldn't have thought it would be too hard to just include the device name for example
If you Google xiaomi redmi note 9, it would come up with the forums with the spec variations and then the sub selections in the forums like below:
Xiaomi redmi note 9s curtana
Xiaomi redmi note 9s joyuse
Xiaomi redmi note 9s (insert max code name here)
This would resolve the issue with all the different posts for different specs in one forum imo
Purchasing POCO M2 PRO(GRAM) over REDMI NOTE 9 PRO(CURTANA) , is it a good idea ???
Redmi Note 9 pro is joyeuse Redmi note 9s is curtana Redmi Note 9 Pro (indian) is curtana curtana has 18w charging instead of 33w curtana has 48mp cam instead of 64 curtana has no nfc . Gram is Basically Redmi Note 9 Pro Joyeuse For india
BUT if You want custom roms buy curtana there is almost NO development for gram
Been trying to understand what's what.
I think curtana, joyeuse and excalibur are like this:
Curtana - 48mp back camera, 16mp front camera - Redmi Note 9s (Global) and Redmi Note 9 Pro (Indian)
Joyeuse - 64mp back camera, 16mp front camera - Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global)
Excalibur - 64mp back camera, 32mp front camera - Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (Global)
Is this correct?
Redmi Note 9 Pro (China) curtana
Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) joyeuse
Redmi Note 9S (Global) curtana_global
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (China) excalibur
Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) excalibur_global

Pretty much. There's also "gram", which is the Poco M2 Pro.

curtana_global is a product name, it's basically the identifier of the ROM that was flashed on the phone. You can also install e.g. the Turkish ROM on the same phone, and it will change into curtana_tr or curtana_eea or curtana_ru. I don't think there's any actual hardware difference between the two (fastboot doesn't care), the curtana_xxx tag on the box of a phone you buy just identifies which firmware was flashed onto it when it left the factory.
If this is the wrong section for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro global (joyeuse) please move or tell me where to post.
Following https://havoc-os.com/device#joyeuse the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro global (joyeuse) has an own section, which is different to https://havoc-os.com/device#miatoll (Miatoll), but when I try to download it, I get:
https://download.havoc-os.com/joyeuse/Havoc-OS-v4.8-20210806-joyeuse-Official-GApps.zip 404 Not Found
Any help appreciated.
So my topic was moved, thanks but I am still reading 9 Pro (Indian Model) and I am talking of the global model, so don't get confused. AFAIK the global model is not compatible with the Indian model, which is a part of the miatoll-ROMs.
I am stuck with the same issue, I will post an update here if I manage to succeed in any way.
I had trouble finding the (joyuse) havoc ROM, experienced the same 404 error. I opted to install the pixel experience instead which was a maitoll ROM.
Xiaomi POCO M2 Pro / Redmi Note 9S / Redmi Note 9 Pro / Redmi Note 9 Pro Max / Redmi Note 10 Lite (miatoll) - Pixel Experience
Xiaomi POCO M2 Pro / Redmi Note 9S / Redmi Note 9 Pro / Redmi Note 9 Pro Max / Redmi Note 10 Lite (miatoll) - Pixel Experience
download.pixelexperience.org
There is of course no guarantee that that Havoc maitoll will work but so far been runing the pixel experience for 2 days with no issues or hacks so far (I did need to manually setup my network APN but not sure if it is related)
