hi to all I have a tanix tx5pro with xtmod_ex but now this rom is obsolete you have some nice performing rom to recommend for tx5pro

Yes most should work around 90% of devices are compatible to some degree (boots and runs) with each others firmwares there are outliers thought that for some reason (dtb diffrences too far from the reference design) for example but TX5 should work

TX5 Pro: WIFI ERROR SOLVED - ROM with lan wireless Fn-Link 8223A driver
Contribution: Firmware (ROM) for TV Box TX5 Pro (Tanix Amlogic S905X 4K TV BOX) supporting 8223A-SR QCA9377 QCA1023 SDIO Wifi Bluetooth
This is the blue plate model, launched on 08/08/2017. Beta version of the equipment and exactly the most commercialized in Brazil and Russia.
The TX5 Pro model received two more network card versions (WiFi Qualcomm QCA9377 and QCA1023 chipset), so the firmware available on the Tanix website does not include the drivers for this version's Fn-Link 8223A, but for the Qualcom chipsets. Therefore, the equipment that receives the original ROM from the manufacturer does not activate Wireless or Bluetooth. Finding the right ROM can take you weeks of research...
Many without this information believe that the Wireless/Bluetooth card is burnt. But just load the correct ROM for the equipment to work again. Even with better performance.

To install:
1. Save correct ROM file on PC.
2. Download and install USB Burinig Tool
3. Connect a USB cable (male-male) to the PC, and before connecting the other end to the TV Box (no need to turn on the power) press the reset hole located under the equipment. The USB connection will power the equipment, which will display the logo on the TV or monitor connected to the HDMI.
4. The USB connection is the middle one (does not respond to any USB of the equipment), when connected successfully, the PC will emit a sound alert similar to the connection of a pen-drive and the port used and the port used will be displayed in the USB Burning Tool. the success message. 5. Once connected, in the USB Burning Tool, load the ROM file (*.IMG), and press the START button. Recording status that occurs in less than 3 minutes will be displayed.

O modelo TX5 Pró recebeu mais duas versões de placa de rede (chipset WiFi Qualcomm QCA9377 e QCA1023), portanto os firmwares disponíveis no site da Tanix não incluem os drivers para Fn-Link 8223A desta versão, mas sim para os chipsets Qualcom. Logo o equipamento que recebe a ROM original do fabricante, não ativa Wireless nem Bluetooth. Encontrar a ROM correta pode te custar semanas de pesquisa...
Muitos sem esta informação, acreditam que a placa Wireless/Bluetooth está queimada. Mas basta carregar a ROM correta para que o equipamento volte a funcionar. Inclusive com melhor performance.

Para instalar:

2. Baixe e instale o USB Burinig Tool
3. Conecte um cabo USB (macho-macho) no PC, e antes de conectar a outra extremidade ao TV Box (não é necessário ligar energia) precione o orifício de reset localizado em baixo do equipamento. A conexão USB irá alimentar o equipamento, que exibirá o logo na TV ou monitor conectado ao HDMI.

A conexão USB é a do meio (não responde em qualquer USB do equipamento), quando conectado com sucesso, o PC emitirá o alerta sonoro semelhante ao de conexão de um pen-drive e será exibido no USB Burning Tool a porta utilizada e a mensagem de sucesso. Ao subir a configuração de temperatura máxima permitida, você terá um Status verde com 100% de sucesso na maioria dos casos.

So is it a universal rom? I have the TX5 Pro QCA9377 running atvXperience v5 BETA. This little box is very good, everything works, I can even connect my headphones via bluetooth.
Just one question. Does DirecTV Go work in this rom? Only that not even Apple TV works for me with atvXperience.

Apenas uma pergunta. DirecTV Go funciona nesta rom? Só que nem a Apple TV funciona para mim com o atvXperience.

muito bom amigo, tenho um modelo igual a esse e queria dar uma tunada nele. O problema é que não consigo de forma nenhuma conectá-lo via usb. Já tentei vários cabos e funcionam com outros dispositivos, mas com o tx5 não. Acredito que seja problema do windows 11. Vou tentar gravar essa rom que enviou em um SD card. Abraço
