FaceUnlock work?

hello, I have tested the ROM and here's what I find:
-bluetooth audio still doesn't work. the bluetooth device connected successfully but the media audio still coming through phone loudspeaker just like any other 64bit ROM.
-the permission interface is not like the latest miui build. for example when installing apk it must turn on "install unknown apps" in the app settings instead of giving option "allow once"

I also had the same problem at first, flash permissiver_v5 again, clean dalvik, and everything is solved

hello, Print Service is not available. Do you want to build?
thank .

I just created an account here to thank everyone involved in this port. It works wonderfully for my 32GB Redmi 7A and 64-bit support is amazing. I was pretty disappointed to find that this device was software-locked by Xiaomi... Quite a **** move to be honest.
There were however some issues I faced but there's only one in particular that I think needs attention.
AIDA64 reports the processor's max clock speed as 2.4GHz which worries me since it should be running at only 2.01GHz. (Picture included). Is it safe to do heavy tasks using this ROM?

since now that there is official MIUI 12 rom will this help with the next update for the drivers especially the Bluetooth audio?
also I prefer if the rom based on xiaomi.eu release, even though it is based on China firmware and lacking some languages I think it is the best rom for daily use.

Internal storage filling without phone downloading anything
Has anyone else had this problem?
I had ~1.7GB free space after fresh install and all my apps installed.
After few days my memory had gone to ~1.1GB. I don't remember downloading anything else than app updates.
Few weeks later my memory dropped to 0.6GB over night(from that ~1.1GB). Auto-Updates were disabled.
I have no files to delete(expect apps).
This thing has happened 3 times and I can't figure out what's taking all that storage. I had same problem with RR.
Also Settings->Storage->Internal shared storage-> "Other" is taking 762MB, but I can't find what those files are.

This hasn't happened before, but over last night my internal memory jumped form 0.6GB to 0.9GB.
And I haven't done anything with my phone that can be expected to make that happen.
EDIT:
It seems dalvik-cache was taking that memory.
Found a little workaround for it: https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-4x/how-to/discussion-guide-dalvik-cache-filling-t3773882

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

I was about to asking the same, but I guess it matters only when you use dt2w. IMO thats a totally useless feature, but it depends on personal preferences.
Nice work very good
Thanks a lot!
Amazing! Everything works so far. Also the battery life using lineage is around 3 days. I love it! Keep the good work!
PS: You can check your display panel with the "Device Info HW" free app.
Little bug: In Settings > Sound, when you try to change the default Phone, Notification or Alarm Ringtone, the system doesn't list the default file manager (the Files app with the green icon) so is not possible to navigate to your folders and choose your own ringtones.
I'had to search and install another file manager (Amaze, since RootExplorer didn't work either) to choose my ringtones.
thanks a lot!
dt2w is working but
I cannot reboot to recovery with the june lineage releases (I tried lememelord's release too),
when selecting "reboot to recovery" from quickreboot app or from the advanced reboot menu
all I get is a normal reboot instead,
I can reboot to recovery using the buttons (power and volume up though),
if I restore the boot partition from my previous lineage backup reboot to recovery works again
but my wifi doesn't!
any suggestions?
edit: I installed flykernel and reboot to recovery worked!
Where are the download links ?
in the first post, v2 and v3
What security patch version is this?

Total Commander worked for me as well, also if you copy the ringtones and notifications you want to use to the correct folder on the internal memory, the default selection window will list them.

guys may i ask if how big will be the available RAM when using this rom?..stock firmware got only 1gb of ram, MAX, out of 2gb...
thanks guys...
1gb? it's less than that, I've got around 700mb (max),
but it depends on the apps you're using too

Code:
[B]20180817:[/B]
Fixed and re-enabled hisupl service
Fixed pinner configuration
Added statusbar padding (to address QS icons going out of their area)
Resolved extreme lag issues on some devices
[B]20180814:[/B]
Initial build based on android-9.0.0_r3 tag
Additional notes:
Pie encryption stuff is incompatible with Oreo recoveries, so use recovery with no decryption for now
If it reboots on the first boot, don't be surprised, it's ok.
If it's stuck on a bootanimation - make sure that you did wipes properly (properly - means a data wipe in stock recovery)
It's a pretty early build, so don't expect it to be rock stable. It's good for daily driver as long as you don't mind the minor issues it has now.
While it wasn't tested, it may work on other Huawei devices (at least 960/970 ones). You can try to flash it and write me here about results.
Awesome!
Great work @flex1911

Congrats Flex and great work bringing this to the View10! Thank you.

Thanks for the great work, too bad wifi-hotspot is broken... it's very important for my V10as I use it to share wifi to other phone!

edit:
magisk working fine, only titanium can't get root.
Sent from my Honor V9 using XDA Labs
Magisk will work, was-lx1 booted used BitGapps, one thing, pixelated settings app, google play app too. So the resolution is lower ... any fix for it ?
With night light it can be fixed ! So with night light there will be no pixelated screen in apps.

It is also fixable with "Disable HW Overlays" in developer settings, but I don't really recommend to use device with this option daily.

This is great news! :victory:
Been waiting for this for ages.
Just a lil question
You took stock blobs, or you used 3.10 very old blobs ?
Cause you know...
There's 4.9 kernel out there for loire
I used this very briefly (30 minutes ) so im sorry for the little info and lack of log cat. Here was my experience :
.Bt would continuously turn on and off.
.UI was smooth. Apps opened smoothly.
.The camera seemed tobwork very well
Everything else is unknown. Again i apologize for the lack of information but the rom looks promising and will be following closely and test more thoroughly when i have more time. Thanks to the dev for their hard work. Was a clean flash F5121 firmware 34.4.A.2.107. Currently running sailfish X 3.0.0.5.
Installation was easy and without problems, USB OTG was ok, but headset and hands-free calls didn´t work.
Looks very promising.

Hello @Chippa_a very good job for this perfect alpha !!! Thank you so much
Awesome work man
I've been testing the ROM in the last hours, and I could say that this is the best ROM for the moment
Even the video recording it's working, the only "bad thing" is that I couldn't change the appearance through Substratum, it's seem to be applied but it doesn't change anything, however I don't care about the visual
nfc doesn't work, high battery usage, the rest is ok.
Low audio for me. F5122.
Any ideas for this problem guys?
awesome rom, but i found some bug
low audio,
bluetooth unstable,
auto reboot sometime (happened when open bluetooth constanty for my xiaomi mi band 3)
sometimes (repetition after 1-2 days use normally) the signal lost both sim, and it take 10-15 minute to return normal,
Messenger has stopped (not happen with Messenger lite)
and i can't flash the stock rom for my xperia x f5122 since i flash this rom, my flashtool has error "The bundle does not match the connected device"

i use Emma (flashtool of sony) to turn back stock rom, and after that i do not see any flashtool error again, but it has a problem : all stock rom since then are encountered error signal loss, and there is not any version stock rom that has signal in both sims, even if it initially signals, it will soon lose permanently after that. I think it like a error simlock.ta, and after that i don't have any choice but flash this custom rom again, although i need continuous bluetooth to use my mi band 3, so i can't use mi band 3 with this rom. And i just exchange this phone with xiaomi mi 5s this afternoon, and yeah, sorry about that but this is my last valuable exchange on this rom.

So far so good. Bluetooth is a lot better still choppy sometimes. Had an issue with the camera where it was taking negative photos without me touching the settings. And any other camera app I used it was just a green picture. Everything else seems good though.

Still a little low now that you mention it, but audiofx is also enabled by default. Its a little louder when you disable it
Hi,
Is it possible to port this ROM also to the Sony Xperia X Compact (F5321/kugo) (as it shares similar hardware to Xperia X)?
I have installed this rom to replace the stock one (8.0.0) provided by Sony, then I wanted to try other custom ROMs and I decided to test OmniROM, that required me to flash the ODM using this one: developer.sony.com/file/download/software-binaries-for-aosp-oreo-android-8-1-kernel-4-4-loire
I didn't have a good experience with OmniROM and I decided to get back to Lineage, but now, whenever I flash it, I get into a loop during mobile configuration phase. May this be due to the ODM image I flashed? Can I revert to the previous one?

great rom.
Face unlock not working
thanks.
Thanks for your hard work! This Rom is terrible!!!
Installed, two auto reboots after, it's awesome!
Still testing, but looks wonderful, thanks
==========
Could not find option for biometric sensors in security
Performance in games is very good, playing Genhsin Impact in medium 60fps, probably can go higher. Any other ROM tested, stock 9 (good), 10 (worse) and custom 10 (good) never get any closer to this.

Yes I dont seem to be able to use fingerprint
---------- Post added at 09:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:06 PM ----------
Its really good and I like this rom so much altough there are some problems like the finger print sensor doesnt work or doesnt show up in my settings and also i dont seem to be able to use the search function in settings app. Also when i use nightlight i kind of flickers.
Also its really really magnificent how the gesture navigation of the UI is like 2 times as smooth

works on android 11 gcam 7.3 beta for rnd 8pro
Coming from ZEN A10, wipe data, system, dalvik and cache, flash CW3, flash ROM reboot, setup started, rebooted, then continued, restored all from Google backup, no issues, Vanced no issues, haven't rooted not sure if I will yet, a few things like can't access BT or WiFi settings from quick tiles and haven't really dug to deep into settings but over all butter smooth and nothing that stands out as an issue. Nice work Devs. Did need to change APN really just changed it and changed back I have 3 APNs with T-Mobile but after that mobile data kicked in.
Yep Flawless.... nice. Guess I'll try and root and try ANX Cam.

This version needs Buffer fix to work (lags), and if you flash it even normal camera won't work anymore.
But thanks for your post I tried others versions, this one works
MGC_3.2.045_TlnNeun_V1.0_Wyroczen_Remosaic
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog1432/
Installed with 'adb install -f FILE.NAMEapk'
gcam 7.3 beta for rnd 8pro worked for me, nmrh_config.... file. Both cameras work fine. Flashed Magisk Canary no issues I have root and passed Safetynet which I didn't expect to or care about but good I guess. DO NOT flash Viper it won't boot nor does Swift Installer work but that's ok for now. Still a fast ROM and very clean no issues all day. Audio is a problem I have 2 10" subs in my trunk and would like Viper to work ;-p
When I connect my Bluetooth earphone, the incoming call rings on the earphone but not on the speaker. I miss many calls in this way even while having the phone near me. Is there any fix for this or I just mess up something?
I guess the new front facing camera still isn't with this rom, as always?
How is the battery life in this rom? Are there any hiccups or stutters around the UI?
I'm gonna unlock the bootloader just for this rom.
