I have flash all (7) 4.4.2 kk firmwares from the sammobile website for the gt-i9200, and i can say for sure that you can use any of them without any problem at all. I also have flash philz touch recovery and root all 7 firmwares after flashing them with odin.
Sent from my GT-I9200 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I'm so glade for you're answer. I only want to make sure that the difference in firmware baseband / PDA between the new one and the currently installed and working on the device now.

Hi everyone.
If you don't know, the update files at the official Huawei site are downloaded as a folder called "dload".
Inside that folder is a file called "update.app".
I have extracted the latest official 4.4.2 MT2-L05 rom from the update.app container, so you can have easy access to System.img, Recovery.img, Boot.img etc.
Hopefully this can be used as a base for some custom rom action, or even just a resource to see how the files are laid out.
Obviously, you US MT2-L03 owners are going to find differences from your device due to the different processors used (MT2-L03 Snapdragon400 v MT2-L05 HiSilicon Kirin 910), but maybe there is a common ground for the Emotion UI stuff/Wallpapers/Themes etc.
You can download my uncompressed version of the Rom here :

You can download the original rom from the Official Huawei site here :

I hope that this may be of some use to someone !
Lock Screens :
The Nokia 1 recently got the Android 10 update. The update got lot of bugs like SD card losing write permissions, launcher3 not having widgets and shortcuts on top of other bugs in Pie.
This has compelled me to look for going back to Android 8.1 Oero where it has best compatibility.
I have no experience in flashing images.
So far, I have found firmware files from here.
I want to know how to flash those files via adb/fastboot or any other process and whether it will work for Nokia 1 TA-1066 (if device variants matter for this purpose).
In one of the zip files(FIHSW_FRT-1550-0-00WW-B03_600WW_8.1.0_20190305.full.deflate.4fefafc6c6b7373b7961be504e49a9684f4e8730.zip) I downloaded, following are file files inside.

[UPDATE]: I used the SP Flash Tool to install firmware for my phone and it worked.

I use payload dumper
Drag and drop the payload.bin file onto the executable.

How do you make a twrp out of boot img? I thought you need to get kernel source from O.E.M ?

TL;DR: The device thought you're try to downgrade, so it refused to boot up.
Have same problem in flashing CN model with JP firmware, and even can't restore through Companion because it says no compatiable version to flash.
And you either wait for the firmware update for that region, or...
JUST FLASH A BOOTABLE VERSION AND THEN FLASH DESIRESD OEM/MODEM SIN FILES AFTER THAT.
