These are instructions for Xiaomi, ignore it. You can use the installation guide for the 10.0 Evolution X.

Because XDA is full full full of mod bots/larps....that try to keep you in the loop of answering questions for so called noobs that dont make sense just to backdoor your browser........and Telegram/sourceforge are trending all over the world...XDA has low traffic now and a huge database the new look from the new web app is shady and very slick trying to keep there foot traffic flowing..... because XDA became trash along years, and Telegram is more helpful and useful for share roms etc. The support here is too lazy, i can't handle support users here, for example.

Aw my phone is just moto g7 [river] hopefully one day my phone will support evolution x

Hi there,
I've installed this rom, it seems to work very well. I want to install magisk, but I didn't find the good old .zip file to install it from twrp, so when I had the original motorola rom I created a patched .img file from boot.img (extracted from rom), as I read on https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html#patching-images
I tried to do the same with this rom, but I only found a payload.bin I can't extract in any way (7zip usually works for everything, but not now).
What's the right procedure?
SOLVED: just renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip and flashing it on recovery solved all my troubles

After installing the software update today, the pixel launcher start crashing ( totally not working) and recent app button is also not working may be due to pixel launcher..

Thanks @thewarmcanuck ! The circled link in your screenshot isn't for lake though BUT the others in that folder do have later than Mar versions.

Hi guys, I'm not of what I'm downloading. On https://sourceforge.net/projects/evolution-x/files/lake/ I can see on the list the most recent update is EvolutionX_5.7_lake-11-20210523-2113-OFFICIAL.zip but on the top, on the big green button, there is:
"Most recent version: evolution_phoenix-ota-rq3a.210705.001-07250633.zip". I'm guessing if I can burn it on my g7 plus, because the name is different from the others and the size is also bigger. Should I make a dirty flash?

Lets Say Pixel Experience Plus Plus Edition XD

in my case i cant flash the basics niki gapps basic (But that's the link that you shared) because their are 150mb+ and the twrp tells me that cant be installed because there are no enough space in the partition, so I just installed the core I had to google a bit.
So far its amazing the stock android experience you can get with this!

Nik Gapps Basic doesnt work ? RIP will check abt it. Thanks for the info. btw Check my Shapeshift OS. it also has Pixel Drop features.

I also had to search for lighter gapps. Tried reducing Niki gapps with config file with no luck. For me worked FlameGapps from XDA.
Rom by itself is really fluid. Only issue for me now is mobile data. (maybe i will sort out this issue) Battery life is unknown for now. But i apreciate FOD which is needed for my payments app. T.y. DEV's
Edit: battery life is excelent, 3 days with 10 hours SOT. (NFC, bluetooth, gps, and mobile data on all the time) For mobile data I had to enter APN manually. Also i replaced OpenCamera with Urnyx gCam. Everything runs smooth.

mobile data does not work(can not obtain the apn automaticly)after you set apn manually the mobile data work fine.By the way,this rom works perfect.thanks

Just wanted say thanks, When I installed Lineage 19.0 few days back, latest TWRP got stuck on splash screen so I tried Orange Fox and it saved the day.

Yesterday i installed orange fox recovery on a friend's phone (s8) and it was great
I have a samsung galaxy note 8 device, it uses the same cpu as s8 and s8+, is there a chance to adapt this recovery for note 8?
If you tell me how to do it maybe I can try it on my own device

Great rom just flashed no issues besides....broken headphone jack and random reboot upon initial setup
1 hr update selecting recognizing animations seems to break fod and significantly slower charging compared to stock rom

What's the difference between Pixel Experience ROM by @Ayrton990 and this one ROM?
They are both Pixel ROMs, so I don't understand the duplicated thread.
Also... if this is a ROM that is going to replace the MIUI ROM... why is it necessary to have one specific version of MIUI to flash a ROM, if the new ROM is gonna replace the MIUI?

This ROM looks very promising, but I have one question before I'm gonna try: do all the cameras work? The Pixel Experience from @Ayrton990 does not seem to support all but just one...

Thank you for creating this rom. Actually stumbled across this during a search...lol, imagine my surprise. Was able to dirty flash without issue. My main concern is, is there a way to batch restrict apps at once to help more with battery? If so, under which tab would the setting be? If not, is there a downloadable app that you know of? I am thrilled to see my phone not running no where near hot as it was on 12. Seem great so far, I will know more when I test my games. I appreciate this.

When battery reach 20 percent there is contant red notification light blinking .. couldn't turn off it is very annoying
I accidentally deleted paper.apk please send me the apk...I cannot extract from the zip file

You could try flashing the rom again if you want the paper.apk back, i'm pretty sure it won't break anything

Will banking apps work here? Emirates nbd to be specific. Most of the custom rom here dont work for emirates nbd bank app, always detected as root even its not. Thanks

All of my banking apps works fine, i'm rooted with magisk 25 btw, hid it from the unnecessary apps with the built in DenyList tool

Little bugs I found...
- Camera crashes when making multiple photos
- Secondary camera does not work
- Selfie Camera shows up as multiple cameras
- Bluetooth makes devices crash (?)(happens with my car and a few speakers I own)
- Led keeps blinking at 20% battery
That said, great work. Quite stable for now and really like the no bs approach to the system. Keep up the good work! Looking for the next update!!

Just Got A serious Bug that whenever I connect my Bluetooth Earphone Its working fine but not show any option in any social media like(Whatsapp, Instagram) any option to use Bluetooth for calling..I would love to have a fix from your end..

I'm on a custom ROM Crdroid android 12 from miui 13 A12, Do i need to flash stock rom miui 12.5.6 before flashing to this rom?
