Hi all. I have a problem with my tab 3. It just keeps rebooting. I have checked the battery and looks OK.
I have tried resetting in Android but does nothing.
I have tried fro recovery and it completes but does not reset anything.
Have tried re flashing rom in Odin with stock and completes and says pass however when it reboots it has changed nothing all the apps and settings still there. Anyone had a similar problem? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
You mean Tab S3?
Because if you have a Tab 3 then you're in the wrong thread.

I was restoring a ROM backup from a couple of days ago, when I rebooted my device it is not stuck on the black screen with 'Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1' written on it. I can gain access to the volume down + power button menu but I really don't know what to do, I have tried to wipe the data but that didn't work. Should I try to install another ROM or something? Please help, I got this tablet for Christmas and I'd be in serious trouble if it's broken after 1 month..
By the way, I am using the 3g model of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
I also forgot to mention that I tried to install the Overcome custom ROM earlier, I didn't think it was done properly so that's when I reinstalled ROM manager (installation wiped all my other data but I had it backed up on Titanium) and that's when I tried to use ROM Manager to try and get everything back to normal. Everything seemed to work fine until I restored the ROM and did a reboot.
Nobody has an answer? Please, I really need this
Use Odin flash a stock Rom for your device.
Basically after a little play around with my phone I decided to root it using Chainfire, which went absolutely fine. My first problem arose when I tried to flash twrp recovery which led to some weird screen whenever I tried entering recovery. I wanted to factory reset my phone (So I did it through the settings) and now on the phone setup it just sits on the software update screen saying it's checking for updates. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Get odin and reflash your stock rom from sammobile! I did that and keept all my apps and files nothing was gone! Good luck
Hi guys, i really need help to fix a friend's phone.
He has a Samsung Galaxy Exhibit t599n, with the stock rom, without a custom recovery but rooted.
The problem is that he got a malware (com.nb.superuser) and for getting rid of it we did a hard reset on the phone, but, after rebooting it it starts the Setup Wizard, but after choosing the time and date and tapping into next it says "Samsung Setup Wizard has stopped" and it throws the phone back to the language selection.
We have tried not changing any setting, reseting the phone, making another factory reset.
So far i have searched for bypassing the wizard with no results, i have also searched for how to install a recovery using adb (for installing a custom rom latter), but the other problem is that when i plug the phone into the pc it beeps but the pc doesnt detect it (yes, i have installed the drivers), kies doesn't, and odin doesn't either.
So, any suggestion? some way of bypassing the wizard?, or maybe installing a recovery, or maybe something else?.

Hello I am new in this forum. And i have the same problem.
"E:System is not installed - preventing reboot!"
I am able to push the on/off button and to turn in the following 2 options.
1.) DOWLOADING MODE
2.) TWRP TEAMWIN RECOVERY PROJECT VERSION 2.2.0 (within this I have many options like, install, backup, restore, Wipe, Mount Settings, Advanced and so on.)
If i only turn on the Tablet P7500 i get errore message at the screen:
"FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE. PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN"
I have installed KIES but the TABLET has been recognised!!
I wanted to install ROM of this post
Thanks for your help in advance.

Your best bet in my opinion, is reinstalling the stock firmware with Odin and your tablet in download mode. From there you can start re-rooting and reflashing a custom recovery.
I know, it's a lot of lost time, but at least you'll be able to flash your custom ROM at end

Thanks, DONE and Working again.
I installed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop from here but im my case very unstable many crashes, maybe i did something wrong.
Wifi does not work and the other side very often frozen images.
I would only to speed a littble bit up my TAB P7500
Thanks.
I have the same ROM installed on my tablet and WiFi is working fine here. However there are the Google play services that keep crashing when it automatically updates itself to the latest version. There's pretty much nothing you can do to stop it, except for uninstalling the Google play services and replacing it with the last version that worked, over and over again...
I don't remember what version that was exactly but it's mentioned in the same thread where you got the custom ROM from.
Unless Google decides to fix what it broke all the devices running an Nvidia tegra 2 SoC are left in the cold.
What I'm going to say now is probably not what you'll be wanting to hear, it's time to look for a new tablet
